1. Right now in my book the two brothers, Jeremiah and Conrad, got in a fist fight becaue there parents are getting divorced and they are handling the news differently. The brothers each think that each other are handiling the new of the divorce wrong so they got into a fist fight over it. Later they find out that there mom has cancer again and she is refusing to go into a hospital. This news means that they might never come up to the beach house again.

2.I think this book is very unique. The plot is really good and unexpecting. You never know what is goint to happen next and I like that. The plot of the book is something that could relly happen to someone and that makes the book even better. I think that the author also put in just the right amount of detail and did not put in so much detail that it made the book boring.

3. The theme in the book that I have noticed is change. The whole book is about how everyone has changed and nothing is the same. Belly is more girly then she used to be, Conrad is more isolated, Jeremiah wants to go to football camp, and Steven went to visit colleges instead of coming to the beach house.

4. My favorite charecter is Jeremiah because even though right now there is a lot of bad news he always try's to stay happy. He does not try to jsut keep him happy he tries to make sure that everyone is happy and not thinking about the news that all just got about there mom and the divorce.

5. My least favortie character is the dad because he is not very good about calling Belly and he does not try to connect with her. He only tries to connect with Steven Belly's older brother. I think that this hurts Belly's feeling and she feels like Steven is the favorite out of them.

6. I already finished the end but if I were to change the ending I would have like to find out what happend to Susannah the brothers mom. Susannah had cancer and the book never said if she lived or if she died. Also the book never said if the two familys went back up to the beach house then next summer. The ending of the book was very open ended which I did not like.
