1. Right now in my book Mallory just found out that her school called Fern Falls Elementary is going green. Mallory is very excited about this, so excited she even changed her favorite color from purple to green. In class her teacher Mr. Knight told them to write down ways to go green, everyone in the class thought of good ideas like taking shorter showers, turning off lights when your leaving a room, using reusable water bottles, and more. Then Mr. Knight asked who wanted to be in the environmental committe. Mallory was the first to raise her hand and even put two hands up. She got the job. The next day she went to the first meeting dressed in all green, had a reusable water bottle, and a notebook of recicled paper. There principle ran it and said they had to anounce to there class that there was going to be a Green Festable for there school. Then Mallory got home and started writing up tickets to her mom for drinking coffee (using a filter), her dad for reading the paper and not the online one, and her brother for watching t.v. She even wrote tickets to her friends and neighbors, and she is starting to take the going green idea to far.

2. I like the book because it gives me alot of ideas to start helping the planet and it is not that hard to do, it shows that little thing can make a big difference and I am going to start doing some of the things Mallory is doing (but not writing up tickets).

3. The theme so far is friendship because she is starting to have trouble with her friends because she is writing them up tickets for watching t.v. or leaving on lights to long.

4. My favorite character is Mallory because she is really in to the going green thing and is trying very hard. I think this is good because she is setting a good example for other people and trying to get other people to go green with her.

5. My least favorite character is Winnie. She is older than Mallory and was picked out by her teacher to be on the committee with Mallory. Winnie didnt want to and she is really mean to Mallory by saying "you really need to chill, why are you so excited about going green?" and "whats up with the stupid outfit." She is really rude and not a very nice person.

6. I think Mallory is going to think of more great ideas to help save the planet, but at the same time Mallory and her friends are going to have trouble getting along because Mallory is getting alittle to obseted with going green.
