**Please note: I abandoned my last book and wasn't very far into it and I am just starting a new one so I am writing about a book that I finished before vacation.**
1. The final chapters of my book revealed many conflicts and their solutions. Courtney and Jordan have just stopped at Jordan' brother's college for a visit. Unfortunately, to Courtney's dismay, it's also her best guy friend's college, the same guy that she made out with a few nights earlier. After walking out of Lloyd's dorm within ten minutes of her arrival, she returned to find Jordan's car missing from its parking space. Jordan had gone to his brother's dorm where not only did he find his brother hammered, but he also found his brother's angered filled eyes staring straight at him. His brother had found out about his mother's affair and was furious that Jordan did not let him in on the secret. When Jordan returned to the parking lot he found Courtney crying, also furious. Her father had just called her informing her of the affair as well. She flipped at Jordan for not telling her and after an awful night's sleep, they regathered to take the last steps of their trip in silence. In the end they realize that they are meant for each other and that their relationship can survive if they work through the ups and downs together.
2. I really enjoyed this book. In fact, I just did a book talk on it. It was really attention grabbing and never had me bored. The drama was pushed to so many extremes that I was indulged in the text throughout the novel.
3. One theme that I noticed the most often in this book was probably never ending love. I saw this between the two main characters and it was basically the roots of this story so it jumped out at me the most. Even though their parents are having a marital affair, Jordan and Courtney still have feelings for each other. At one point Jordan even says he still loves her. You would think that if your parents were getting together then you would not feel right being in a relationship anymore. However, this did not stop them, they couldn't just let their feelings pass, they wouldn't let their chance of happiness be ruined by their parents attempt to get their own. To me this showed how strongly they cared for each other and it outlined the never ending love between them.
4. My favorite character would have to be Jordan. At first he comes off as a jerk, but once you learn of the truth, you realize that he really does mean well. He seems like a really laid back, fun guy to be with.
5. My least favorite character was definitely Courtney's dad. He was just a cold hearted person. Not only did he cheat on his wife, but he did it with his daughter's boyfriend's mother! If it was a one time thing and he came out and was forthright about it and apologized continuously, then maybe I would be a little easier on my opinion of him. Did he do this? No! He made his daughter's boyfriend break his daughter's heart! He is just the opposite of a personable human being.
6. I thought the ending to this book was okay. I would have enjoyed it more if the author expanded more on how their relationship grew as they carried on with their college lives. Although, the ending wasn't really ideal, it might've been just what the book needed and I commend the author for that. It was a great read and I would recommend it to just about any teenager.
