1. Right now in the book, Allie and Noah have been apart for 14 years since they have been in love that summer. Noah has never stopped loving Allie, and Allie has never stopped thinking about Noah. She is engaged now to a very rich man name Lem, but her and Lem's relationship doesn't feel right. She loves him, but there is something she doesn't feel when she is with Lem, then when she was with Noah. One day, Allie saw a newspaper clipping about Noah. She had to go visit him, she didn't know why, but it just felt right. So, when she showed up at his house, she saw that he was alone with his dog. They talked for a while. Allie couldn't build up the courage to tell Noah that she was engaged, but when she finally did, his heart started aching because he was still in love with her, but he acted like it was just another thing he got told. He was very happy for her. Noah decided they should be friends because she was the best friend/love that he had ever had. Lem doesn't know where Allie is. Allie doesn't plan on telling him because she would never understand.
2. The book is a very interesting story. The beginning is very confusing, however, I think the ending of the book would answer some questions, because that's how all book are like. So far, I really like the story of their love life. I don't like how out of the blue, Allie decides to go visit Noah. I also didn't get how Allie never wrote to Noah, even though Noah wrote to her but her mother hid them. I am really into this book, and I can barely put it down at night until I can't open my eyes.
3. I think the theme of the book is everlasting love because they might not know it, but Noah and Allie will never fall out of love for each other. Deep down inside them, they know they are still in love, after all of these years. I think by them visiting each other will make them realize a lot more that they are in love and it will change their life.
4. My favorite character is Noah because he is his own person. He lives alone, and does what he wants with his life, instead of following someone elses rules. He never lets go of anything, like Allie, his father, and the dog he rescued which makes him kind, considerate, and he has a great personality.
5. Not many characters are introduced in the book yet, but so far, I would have to think my least favorite character in the book is Allie. I think Allie is not her own person because she thinks that she is scared what people would think of her. She lost Noah because her mother didn't like him. She should have stayed with him because her mother doesn't make up her life, she has to live the life that she wants to live. Also, by her visiting Noah out of the blue, may seem good, but it's really killing Noah inside because she is giving the wrong impression. Noah thinks she came back to him, but she really came back to him to make a decision if she wanted to marry the person she is marrying now or if its the wrong decision. I think that Allie cares too much about money as well because she has to always be rich, like Noah isn't good enough for her, and she has to merry a very rich lawyer.
6. In the book, I think by Allie and Noah visiting each other, will make them fall in love again. I think that Allie will not care what her mother thinks of her anymore because she figures out she has to be who she wants to be and not be stopped by her mother of living up to her dreams. I think the book will have a happy ending.
