1. Right now in my book Bruno is getting bored of "out with" because he used to live in Berlin where there was allot of a friends and life but he just recently moved to the country side where he is home schooled with his sister. He is getting bored because he has no friends. This is taking place during WWII. I have also seen the movie so i know that there is a concentration camp about a mile away through the trees that his mother is not happy that they can see it through a window.

2. So far in the book i think it is pretty slow but i know from the movie it is slow the whole time but it gets more intense and it gets very interesting. So far i rate this a 9 out of 10.

3. So far the theme i see in this book is deception because Bruno's father is tricking Bruno into thinking that the Nazis are the good guys. Really his father is killing thousands of innocent Jewish men women and children. The only person besides the mother that really knows what is going on besides the father is the mother and she hates Hitler but she keeps it secret.

4. So far my favorite character is Bruno because he makes up this little almost world for himself "the adventures of the great Master Bruno" and he likes to adventure around like me but at one venturing gets you into trouble somehow.

5. So far my least favorite character is Bruno's Father because he is killing hundreds of Jews and he doesn't show any resentment. he is also tricking his son into thinking that it is ok like i said in the part earlier the theme.

6. It is hard to predict what will happen next because i have seen the movie so i think that he will go and see the concentration camp on one of his adventures.
