1. Ender has defeated the buggers in the final battle of the third invasion. He thought that the battle was another mock invasion "Game" set up by the teachers at Command School. He soo finds out it is not and is starting to lose the battle. However, the people on his team then contact him and they're all the people that Ender liked and was taken away from. He musters up all his courage and defeats the buggers. He then continues on to the buggers homeland and discovers the last remaining species of bugger. He takes it with him and starts writing the book Speaker of the Dead. The book he writes is based on all the information he is acquiring from the bugger egg he took from teir homeland.
2.I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It had many intense scenes of action that always kept me on the edge of my seat. Such scenes were the fake "Games" that the school teachers would set up for Ender to play and how he always won even when they rigged the "Games" and made the chance of him winning very slim. The ultimate scene of action was the veritable battle aagainst the ferocious, merciless buggers.
3. This is a very apparent theme in this book. As Ender starts to grow up he is taken away from his family to go to military school in space. The more time that passes, Ender grows very distant to his relatives that were never very close to him in te first place. The only person in his family that he still has somewhat a connection with is his sister Valentine. She regrets him going to the school because, in the way she sees it, the school has destroyed his childhood and stripped him of youthful life. Ender soon becomes a recluse and finds himself questioning everyones honesty. He stops being able to trust anyone. At the end of the book, ender goes on a space trip with Valentine and starts to regain trust in her.
4. My favorite character is Ender. Is a very smart young boy who is very ingenious. He thinks of creative and unorthodox ways to deal with upbraiding problems. He can at times be playing with fire but he is a great character nevertheless.
5.Peter is my least favorite character. He is very intimidating and feeds on the fear of others. he always give Ender a hard time and is a very malicious person.
6. I finished the book and it didn't finish the way I thought it would. I thought he was going to defeat the Buggers but then be captured and the book would end for the second one.
