1. Right now in the book Tyler was just asked by Bethany to go to the football game with her. She is the most popular person in the school and Tyler is a nobody. Tyler was caught spray painting words on the school in the past year and there was recently another spray paint on the wall but it wasn't Tyler.
2. I like this book so far because it's from the perspective from a kid who wasn't popular and the book I read before this was from the perspective of a kid who was really popular. I like how the dad is kind of weird and is always trying to impress his boss.
3. The theme in this book is friendship because Tyler is just getting one of his first real friends besides the ones he worked with over the summer. He only worked with them because he had to pay off the money for spray painting the school. When he was on the roof with them it seemed like he didn't like them and he just needed to have someone to talk to because he was up ther for so long.
4. My favorite character in this book is Tyler because he is changing a lot since the past summer when he was more of a punk and didn't have many friends. He is starting to be nicer to more people and I like the little fight that he has with Bethany's brother Chip. Chip is always trying to be better then everyone else and is the king of the school.
5. My least favorite character in this book is Tyler's mom because it seems like she just drinks a lot when she is annoyed with her family and she always wants to fit in with everyone else. At the party for work she brought a salad and she thought it was too casual so she hid it behind a bush. Also when she didn't want to eat dinner with Tyler's dad because she didn't want to talk to him she drank a lot and fell asleep or passed out.
6. I predict that in the future that Bethany will start to like Tyler more and someone will try to get her to not like him. I think that someone will frame Tyler for doing something to get him annoyed and to get Bethany to stop liking him.
