1) Right now, the main character Ping, and her dragon Danzi, are bathing in a hot spring they found on their journey. They are trying to get to a temple of dragons and Ping discovered Danzi and is with him on their journey.

2) I really enjoy this book. It is very interesting to read about dragons since there are so many folktales and stories about them.

3) A huge theme I have seen is friendship. There are many scenes where this theme is displayed between Danzi and Ping. They are always there for eachother and help out in times of danger.

4) My favorite character so far is Danzi. He is a large and powerful dragon. Danzi has been around for hundreds of years and is very caring for Ping. From being around on Earth for so long, it has also made him very wise. He also isn't afraid to face oncoming danger and protects Ping all throughout their journey. Being a dragon, Danzi is quite the interesting character.

5) My least favorite character is Hua. Hua is Ping's pet rat that mostly just sits around and doesn't do much. He is usually in Ping's pocket or laying around her neck. He is very boring.

6) What I think will happen next is that Ping, Danzi, and Hua will start off again on their journey after taking a small rest. They have been traveling for a long time and could definately use some sleep and food. They will probably rest and than go out for some hunting or fishing if they can find a stream.
