1. Right now in my book Courtney, her boyfriend, Jordan, her best friend, Jocelyn, and Jordan's best friend, who is also Jocelyn's boyfriend, B.J., are all on a vacation in Miami. It is hard on Jordan and Courtney because B.J. and Jocelyn have an odd relationship and are always bickering. Also, Jordan caught his mother, who is married, having an affair with Courtney's father, who is also married, so it is hard for him to be with Courtney and knowing that he has to keep something from her. Now, Courtney's dad has forced Jordan to break up with her because of the situation and Jordan is having a really tough time dealing with it all. For now though, Jordan is just going to enjoy his time with Courtney.
2. So far I have enjoyed this book to a great extent. It is really captivating and the plot, although sometimes a little twisted, keeps me interested. I can't wait to read what lies ahead.
3. One theme I have noticed would probably be companionship. I see this between almost all of the characters. For example, Jordan finds a companion in Courtney just as Jocelyn found one in B.J. Also, Courtney's father finds one in Jordan's mother. It seems that everyone in this book is just looking for someone to share their lives with, they are looking for companions.
4. My favorite character would have to be Jordan. There is so much going on in his life and he still manages to keep it together. He seems like a really laid back, fun guy but I can also tell that he cares about things that he believes in. I think that he sounds like he would be a great friend.
5. My least favorite characcter would have to be Courtney's father. He is such a jerk, lying to both his wife and his daughter. Not to mention the fact that he forced Jordan to break up with his own daughter, Courtney, and tell her that Jordan cheated on her when he didn't. He just comes across as a liar and just an awful person.
6. I think that Jordan and Courtney are going to get back together without telling anyone and then when they arrive back at home Courtney's father is going to find out. I think that there is going to be a whole argument and both Jordan's and Courtney's father's secrets are going to be discovered.
