1. Right now, Dumbledore had just finished dueling Voldemort in the Ministry of Magic, and the entire Ministry just saw Voldemort, and now they know that Voldemort actually did come back to power. Dumbledore makes a portkey that sends Harry back to Hogwarts. The reason they are in the ministry is because Harry and the D.A, (Dumbledore's Army), had gone to look for the weapon that Voldemort was looking for, which was just a prophecy that got smashed when they were trying to escape the deatheaters.

2. I think that this book is great so far. The end was my favorite part because I enjoy the fights between all the wizards, and they had an epic battle. I also like how the biggest fight was saved till the end because all the little events that happen during the book, all lead up to the end part which is usually really cool and is not what you expect like here, when they talk about a weapon, I thought of something else, like a giant machine or a new spell, but it was just a prophecy that you never hear.

3. The dominant theme I see as a reader is action, because Harry keeps having dreams that he can see what Voldemort is doing. Also in the beginning, when Harry is attacked by two dementors, the action just comes out in the way beginning of the book. Also, there are many other times when action occurs at Hogwarts, like when the entire D.A. is running from Professor Umbridge because the D.A. is an illegal group that Harry, Ron, and Hermione set up.

4. My favorite character is Fred and George because they are very funjny and make the story entertaining. When Professor Umbridge became Headmisstress, she made rules that the students hated, and took all authority away from the teachers. So, Fred and George set up uunremovable rockets all over the school that make extremely loud noises, and they set up a portable bog in the hall way. Lastly, when they got caught for the pranks by Umbridge, they set off fireworks all over the castle and told Peeves, the Poltergeist, to drop water balloons on her head.

5. My least favorite character is Umbridge. She is a stuck up, short, toad-like woman who is power hungry. She makes all these ridiculous rules, like no clubs, and bans a magazine called The Quibbler.

6. I think that Dumbledore will explain everything that has happened when he comes back because that is what has happened in every book so far and will leave a cliff hanger for the next book.
