1. Right now in my book the main character Stanley has just got sent to a juvenile detention camp, where boys dig holes looking for treasure buried there hundreds of years ago. Stanley was accused of stealing a pair of shoes from an auction for charity and decided the camp over going to jail because his family was not very wealthy and could never send him to summer camp. Stanley was in for a big surprise when he got to the camp because when he got there it was most definitely not a summer camp.

2. So far, this book has been very good in terms of detail. I like how the author makes you feel like you are part of book . Also, the book gives me a good picture of what happening in the book, in my head.

3. A theme i have noticed in the book so far is bad luck. Stanley has a lot of bad with everything he does. He got in trouble because he got accused of somethings that he didnt do. Another person stole the shoes and threw them over a railing and they landed on Stanley's backpack.

4. My favorite charecter in the book so far is Stanley. I like Stanley because he fights through the adversity and his bad luck . He is also funny in a lot of the parts of the book

5. My least favorite character is the warden of the camp. I do not like her because she is very mean to Stanley and the rest of the campers. She is even mean to the the man who handles most of the kids: Mr. Sir.

6. I predict that Stanley and his friend Zero will run away from the camp. I also think that the curse on Stanley will end once he gets away from the camp.
