1. Right now Uncle Vernon just received a letter from Mrs.Weasley asking the Dursley's if t hey could take Harry to the Quidditch World Cup. Mrs.Weasley started going on about how they must have herd a lot about the school and the rest of the Weasley's when in fact the Dursley's want to hear nothing of the sort about Harry's friends at school or about anything to do with magic. This particular part was extremely funny because Mrs.Weasley  has never sent a letter before so she put about forty stamps on it and mentioned that she hoped it was enough. 

2. So far I really like this book because this is one of the funniest Harry Potter books. I also love the fact that when Harry's friends try to communicate with him it is always really weird because they don't really have the same kinds of communicating devices in the wizarding world. 

3. I don't think I have gotten deep enough into the book to get a good theme yet but if I had to pick one right now I would choose friendship because Ron and Hermione are always getting in touch with Harry even though they can't call the house. They are always coming up with new ways to make Harry feel better and keep in touch with him.

4. My favorite character right now is Ron. I love Ron because he called the house in the beginning of the book and started yelling into the phone not knowing how it worked. He is always really funny in the way of how he doesn't understand how our technology works.

5. My least favorite character is Wormtail. Wormtail is the character from the last book who's name was Peter Petigrew. I hate him because he is the one who gave up Lily and James Potter and he is still working for the Dark Lord. 

6. I have read the book before so I know what is going to happen but when I was reading it for the first time I thought that Uncle Vernon wasn't going to let Harry go to the Quidditch World Cup and that Harry was going to sneek out.
