1. Right now in my book Anna Fitzgerald is suing her parents and has a restraining order against her mother. In her family she does not feel like she belongs because, the only reason her parents had her was because they needed a match for Kate, Anna's sister who has cancer. Their brother Jesse was not a match for Kate. Kate will soon need a kidney and Anna is sick of having to be in the hospital when she does not need to be there. She wants to be a normal kid with friends who come over but she cannot be normal because Kate is always at the hospital and Anna has to be there in case she needs to give blood cells to Kate. She will not continue to live a life like this so she is suing her parents. And the restraining order is because her mother keeps telling everybody that it is a mistake and they will have it resolved in a week.

2. This is a very good book, although there are certain things that I do not get. Such as how the author goes back and forth from present to past time, and you can never tell what time it is. This book really touches your heart as you hear what the family has to say about the whole experience and how being a somewhat close family has helped them.

3. A big theme in this book is hope. You see it as everybody says its going to be o.k. no matter what happens. Even Anna thinks that Kate will make it and their family is very supportive to Kate. I am not saying that there is hope for the family but they all support Kate and tell her that she is strong. The dad is the most supportive because he comforts everyone and makes them feel like there is hope for Kate , especially to the mother.

4. My favorite character is the dad, Brian. Brian is the most supportive and comforts everybody. I know when my dad comforts me it makes me feel good and I know that he is the same way. I also like him because he is kind to Anna even though she is doing something mean to her parents. Lastly he seems like the person who loves her, the only reason her mom wanted to have her was for Kate but Brian understands why she wanted Anna and I believe he is trying to show Anna that someone does care about her.

5. My least favorite character is the mother because the only reason she wanted to have Anna was to save Kate. That is extremely rude and then she doesn't even treat her like a daughter more like her sick daughter's best friend. Kate is her number one priority. You can respect that but even on the wall with their family history there are tons of pictures of Kate and Jesse but little of Anna which annoys me and is so sad.

6. I think Anna and her brother Jesse are going to get a place by themselves. I believe that Anna will not talk to her mother but will talk to her father and support Kate as much as she can. She will not proceed with the lawsuit because she will realize that her mother did love her and then she will apologize and they will move back in and be a happy family.
