1) Currently in my book right now, on one normal day, Denny came home with a girlfriend, and walked past Enzo with out even recognizing him. When Enzo saw Denny and his girlfriend kiss, things changed a lot. Ever since they kissed, Enzo has gotten extremely jealous, because recently Denny has started to shun Enzo. When Denny went to the bathroom his girlfriend came up to Enzo and whispered in his ear, "Can I love him too?" Enzo thought it was at least polite to ask, but couldn't deal with her because Enzo's so used to it being only him and Denny. Also, Enzo couldn't say no only because dogs can't talk! Enzo has noticed that ever since he has met this new girl, Denny has changed a lot. Denny doesn't put Enzo to sleep anymore, and Enzo can't sleep in Denny's room anymore. Everything has changed for Enzo, and he wants to try to stop it.

2)Overall, I think this book is a great read, although, some parts of this book may make one reading this a little bored. The idea of a dog being the narrator of this book fascinates me, and I also assumed that being a dog would also be a little boring, so Garth Stein tied that into the plot. Though it was a unique thing to do, I also thought some parts were a little dull and needed to add some life to it, but I mean, how fun can a dog's life be? I just think that the way Garth Stein came up with this idea to write about this, is a clever one and makes me pay more attention than any other normal book.

3) Overall, the most dominant theme in my book right now is jealousy. I've noticed this everywhere since the last time I've blogged. Though I can't blaim Enzo for being jealous because if I was put in his shoes, I would also be jealous of his girlfriend. I feel that Denny should still pay even a little more attention to Enzo because after all those years, they've had together, Enzo deserves more attention. Also, as a dog, healthy dog's need to be loved, and if Enzo's not being loved and he's losing confidence, he may turn out to be a sad, depressed, and unhealthy dog.

4) Right now my favorite character is Enzo. Last time, my favorite character was Denny, but things have changed. Denny is now being selfish, and leaving Enzo in the dust. I feel extremely bad for Enzo now because he has noone to watch tv with, noone to tuck him in, noone to sleep in a room with, and most importantly, noone to hang around with. This to me, is an extremely part to a dog's life. Love and compassion is what a dog needs in order to live a happy and healthy life.

5) Currently, my least favorite character is Denny. After all him and Enzo went through, Denny just shuns Enzo with out even telling him....I'll be focusing on my girlfriend next couple of days, don't be jealous, I still love you....becuase Enzo can understand what Denny is saying. Maybe if Denny just simply said that, Enzo could still live happy and not have to worry to be priority to Denny. Though maybe Denny is caught up on being too excited in the moment, because I can infer that Denny hasn't had many girlfriends.

6) From the last thing that I read, I predict that Denny's going to realize that he has been hurting Enzo, and he might apologize to him. Though I also think after Denny apologizes to Enzo, Enzo will get mad and not regret his mistake. I have a feeling something will go terribly wrong, because there always has to be a problem in a chapter book.
