Right now in the book Sasha Cohen is talking about when she was in her first olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002. She is Describeing how due to telivison brodcast delays it puts even more pressure on right before she skated. She is also talking about how she lost her tripple lutz durring a practice and the struggle that she faces to get back into a jumping pattern.
So far I really like the book. Since I skate some of her challenges that she faced as a young skater like landing jumps, getting low enough in a sit spin and being so flexibull in a spiral relate to some of the things that I need to over come as a skater. I found that the book really helped me in some of the aspects of skating.
The dominte theme is this book is passion. When Sasha Cohen decribed the moment that she said to her self that she was going to be on the Olympic podem she really made her dreams come true. I do not think that she would have a medal if she was not passionate about the sport.
Since their are not realy charecters in the book, my favorite skater is Sasha Cohen. The reason that I like her alot is because she always reaches for the best that she can be. She never stops trying durring a program because she falls or makes a mistake. One of her sayings is "Reach for the moon, and if you miss that at least you land on a star."~Sasha Cohen
My least favorite skater Yevgeny Plushenko because he made rude remarks to Even Lyechack when Even wone gold. His poor sportmanship does reflect on the sport which is not how it should be shown espeshily durring the olympics.
I think that Sasha Cohen will talk about her road to 2006 Olympics next. Also I think that she will talk alot about what she does in the off season.
