1. Right now in my book, Alex has just escaped from a man named Desmond McCain. Desmond was holding Alex hostage in a camp in Kenya and has just attempted, and failed, to feed Alex to crocodiles. Desmond McCain runs a charity but Alex discovered the truth about what is going on and has now escaped from Desmond but is being chased by tribesmen that Desmond hired. Alex needs to get to the dam and detonate an explosive to break the dam in order to save all of Kenya from a fierce poison.

2. So far, the book is very exciting. I am near the end of the book and the action is at its climax. There are many suspenseful parts where Alex is being held by Desmond McCain but he always finds some heroic way to escape and stop the villain. It is particularly suspenseful when McCain is torturing Alex by making him hang by a pipe sticking out from a tree as crocodiles wait below for him to fall.

3. The theme I have noticed while reading this book is money and greed. Desmond McCain's charity is actually a scam and he keeps all the money that is donated for himself. He is so greedy that just taking the money is not enough for him. Desmond intentionally causes catostrophic disasters and then his charity asks for donations which he ends up keeping.

4. So far in the book, my favorite character is Alex. He is the star of all the books and always ends up becoming a national hero for what he does. Although he is only fourteen, he is MI6's best agent and he can always find a way out of a situation no matter what the odds are. He is a very resourseful boy and knows how to use his surroundings to beat his opponent.

5. My least favorite character in the book is Desmond McCain. He is criminal who makes his money by causing disasters that kill millions of people. He had previously been to jail but seemed to have turned a new leaf when he started his international charity. Except that he keeps the millions of dollars that are donated to save the victims of the accident that he set up.

6. My prediction of what will happen next is that the dam that Alex has already weakened with his exposive is going to break. All the tribesmen chasing Alex are going to be wiped out and the wheat field poisoned with ricin will be flooded, saving the people of Kenya. Although Alex was able to contact MI6 who sent fighter jets that might bomb the entire field.
