.) Right now in the book Cassie(the main character) is in an awkward position when she finds out her step-father the famous violinist Dino Cavalli knows she is secretly dating his student Ian Waters. Ian has been telling his mom he was at violin lessons while he really quit to spend time with Cassie. When Ian's mom found out she got so mad she ordered him to go back and continue the lessons. Cassie is not happy about Ian spending time with her step-father because she thinks he is a crazy, childish, moody, bully who does not regard the feelings of others, and thinks he is always right. When Cassie and Ian are together they are so free happy and expressive, and it brings Cassie to tears hearing Dino insulting Ian like that.
.) So far I really enjoy reading this book. The author is thought full about the plot of the story which is making it a very good read. Also, the author describes the characters so well I feel like I can relate to some of the things that are going through her head. Also, I really like Ian he seems like a different type of boyfriend for someone like Cassie or has a similar attitude to Cassie's which I think makes the story seem interesting. Also I think it is hard to predict what is coming up next because every conflict is such a shock, which also makes this book a really good read.
.) The theme I have noticed in the book is family love, because even though Cassie HATES Dino she is starting to respect him, and is getting use to how his crazy mind works. Also, when Cassie has troubles with Ian she has her mother to look after her, and care for each other they are like a little family each other. When Cassie is with her dad and Nanny at her dad's house it's the same thing she has many different little families. For some reason Dino does not fit into any of them.
.) My favorite character is Cassie, because she is fun, kinda a rebel, and has love in her heart. She is fun for example when she is with Ian, or her friends she loves to hang and have fun. She is a rebel, because she was not aloud to be dating Ian but she did any way. When Dino found out she did not care the slightest, because she has love in her heart. She has lots of love in her heart and you see that all the time when she is trying to make an effort to except Dino, he is just hard to except.
.) The character I do not like is Dino. He is sole crushing, mean, threatening, and not pleasant to be around. He continuously treats the people around him like dirt, and has no disregard for other people's feelings. I do not like reading about him either, because it is just sad and upsetting what he says to people.
.) I predict that Ian is going to play in some big concert for his violin and Cassie, and Dino will be there to cheer him on. I also think this concert will help him get into a school of some sort that will help him with his music career.
