1. Right now in the book Alex is being tortured by McCain. He is holding onto a platform but he can not get on top of it. There are alligators underneath him so he can not jump down and run away. Out of no where, the lady watching him dropped dead. Alex watched with wonder as a man killed the alligators and was helping him up. If he had been on another ten seconds he would have fell and been eaten.

2. So far i feel this book is the best in the series. I really like how this time Alex runs into trouble without asking for it. He was just on a school trip and Intelligence asked him to get some information. He didn't go in looking for trouble like he does in all the other books. I also like how the knew prime minister won't let Alex do any more missions. He has already had a hard enough childhood losing his parents and his uncle.

3. So far in this book i have noticed greed as being a major theme. McCain said he was turning his life around after going to jail. Instead he is trying to kill thousands of people across Kenya with his plague. H would get about 100 million dollars with this from his organization First Aid. After going to jail for a while, he still decided to break the law. He is that greedy for more money that he can not get a normal job.

4. Right now my favorite character is Alex's house keeper Jack. She could have gone back to live with her family instead of taking care of Alex. But, she decided she would live with him and take care of him even if it is really hard. She loves him like his is her child. Yet he still goes on multiple missions for MI6 risking his life on a regular basis. The stress that outs on Jack must be incalculable. Not knowing if your son is going to be alive now and dead in ten minutes. Not knowing if he'll ever come home. But she still stays with him because she knows he has no one else.

5. Right now my least favorite character is McCain. He went to jail for over 5 years for insurance frod. He set fire to his hotel to claim many millions of dollars as insurance. Now he is out of jail and he says he is hoping to get a fresh start. He set up an organization called First Aid which gives fast help to places with natural disasters all over the world. Now he is making a disaster hoping that he will get lots of money through his organization. Then he will thinks he will run away to Switzerland and be happy with his 100 million dollars.

6. I predict that this knew person that has just shown up is another spy. He might work for the same or a different agency. He also will help Alex stop the plague and kill McCain. The knew spy might die saving Alex. Then, Alex will find a way to stop McCain from running away with all that money. The government also might get involved and it could lead to a very interesting twist. Maybe Alex will get injured and he will never be able to be a spy again.
