Matt Tesconi
The Camel Club
David Baldacci
Mystery
P. 430

1. Right now in my book the jurors and people in on the cases of the club are being tested by their leaders. It is a test to see whether the club is truthfully and useful. So far the plot was boring up untill about 100 pages ago. In the first half i was almost ready to drop it but slowly it got a lot better. I feel now that it is a great plot. The club is secretly stealing money so that's why they are having this meeting to plan their next hijacking.
2. I really do love this book now because of all the vivid details David Baldacci provides towards the middle of the book. When it started getting good i couldn't put the book down. I really enjoy books when I can imagine myself in the book as well. I feel it brings a whole new element to readers that make the book enticing to read.
3. The theme so far has mostly been troubled relationships. I say this because the group has had a lot of fights about where the money goes and how to spread it evenly. I think that this is the dominant theme because it is very bold when David Baldacci is telling the story.
4. My favorite character would have to be the ring leader of the club. He isn't given a name so far but I'm expecting he will have one soon. I know siding with the bad guy is bad but he's an evil genius. I feel like he always has something in case his plan doesn't fall though. I feel up to this point that he is a little too perfect. I don't think it's that real to get away with everything.
5. My least favorite characters are the Judges hearing all of the cases. They get duped so easily. I feel they have no sense in judging. When they hear a case it seems they are oblivious of what the club is doing to make them only see one side of the story. I don't like them because i almost wish that the club would get caught but with those judges up there they don't stand a chance.
6. My major prediction is that the club will get caught. i actually really hope this happens. I want this to happen because you can't be perfect all of the time.
