1. Right now Hugo has just left the subway station for the first time in a long time so he is cold and he has chased the old man that works at the shop back to his house then he threw a rock at one of the windows and a girl came out then Hugo told her that her grand pa stole his invention book and was about to burn it but the girl objected.

2. So far i really like this book because it is a change from the war books i have read and it still keeps my attention it also reminds me of myself because i have an invention book myself that i right little things down that i think of.

3. The theme in this book is being self sufficient because Hugo is a hobo and he lives in the subway station and he needs to find ways to get food water clothes ......... on his own.

4. My favorite character is Hugo because he is really mentally tough and physically tough so he can deal wit allot and he lives a sad lifestyle which makes me feel bad for him.

5. My least favorite character is the old man at the train station because he not only hurts Hugo but he threatens to burn his only property( His invention book) which i think is just cruel and unruly.

6. I think that he will get his book back and the old man might take him in to live with him.
