1. I have just started re-reading The Lightning Thief. In my book right now PErcy was just assigned the quest to retrieve the weapon of the king of the gods Zeus the lightning bolt. AS Percy is just getting to leave with Annabeth and Grover Chiron jumps out and gives Percy a gift from his dad the god of the ocean Poseidon. This gift is a pen that magically turns into a sword when he pushes the cap as well as it comes back to him when he loses it or drops.
2. I think this is maybe the best book I have ever read. I think this because it has an action side of it as well as being a great read. The action is great and makes me want to read the whole thing in one night. Another reason is that all the characters have chemistry which allows them to play off each other in the book. That is why i love this book.
3. Heroism is the theme I have noticed so far. I have noticed this in the way that PErcy has tried to get the lightning bolt back for Zeus. If Percy does not succeed he could be killed as well as a full blown war starting out.
4. My favorite character is Percy. He is my favorite character because he is very heroic. Also because him being dumb makes everyone laugh. As well as him being a kid with extremelky cool problems that he must overcome.
5. My least favorite character is Luke. Luke is my least favorite character because he is sneaky and a liar. He posioned Percy and almost killed him. As well as him working for a evil power.
6. I perdict that Percy will get into a battle with a evil menace. I predict this because it is Percy's mission to stop the evil menace and retreive the lightning bolt.
