1. Right now in this book Peeta and Katniss are going through a vary tough time. It is a good ways through the Hunger Games and they have been able to survive. The main obstacle that is holding them back is Peeta's health condition. He has been trying to recently battle off a bad fever that has been slowing him down. The worst injury is his leg wound. At first it was not so bad and Katness put some healing ointment on it. They have recently checked on it and it has gotten precedingly worse. The swelling has increased a ton and it turns out that he has blood poisoning. They figure that if they don't go to the Capitol and get anti-biotics he will surely die. The medicine that they want to buy is very expensive though.

2. I am enjoying this book a lot. You were right when you said I would love it. There are many reasons that I like it so much. One is that it has so much action in it. During the games they are constantly running or hunting. Another reason is that they are forced to deel with challenges such as the one they were just given of getting medicine for Peeta's leg from the Capitol.

3. A prominent theme in this book is competitiveness. I am choosing this theme because this whole book consists of a game. The competitors have to be competitive in order to win because the winner is the last district alive. Some districts are more competitive than other districts because they go out looking for other districts ti kill. It is survival of the fitest and mostly survival of the most competitive.

4. My favorite character is defiantly Peeta. First of all the fact that he is from a family of bakers and his name is the name of a bread is awesome. Also, because he is a baker he has absolutely no experience with combat. That makes it that much more amazing that he has been able to survive this long. And with a serious leg wound for part of that time. He never gives up which is a great attribute to have in such a violent and intense situation.

5. My least favorite charcter is Haymich. He is a great athlete and he won the 50th Hunger Games but he is a horrible sponcer for district 12. This is because he is always drunk and the people of the Capital see this. This is forming a very bad image for Katniss and Peeta.

6. I believe that the end of this book will end somewhat well. District 12 will probably win the Hunger Games because if they didn't that would be a very disappointing ending. Although I think that Katniss will win the games she will probably lose Peete by doing so. The leg wound that he has recently received looks extremely bead and even if they do get the medicine it will be to late.
