1. Right now in my book, a man named Canon Pennyfather has disappeared and been murdered. No one know that he has been killed, except for the reader so all the characters are trying to find out what has happened to him. Two detectives have come to Bertrams Hotel, and are investigating the disappearance, but there is also an old lady there named Miss Marple who is very clever and we start to follow her point of view once Agatha Christie makes her the official detective. This is not the first book Miss Marple has been in so that's how I know that she becomes the detective.

2. Right now my book is starting off really slow and there are a lot of characters so it's getting a bit hard to keep track of them all. However, now the giant list of characters is getting smaller, and the book is starting to pick up into the mystery. So far I haven't been too impressed with the book, but it seems like it's about to become fantastic.

3. A theme that I have noticed is curiosity killed the cat. Canon Pennyfather was a very curious man, and trying to stick his nose into everyone's business. Now we know that he has been killed. Another place that I have seen this theme is when detectives come to the hotel to find out more information. Police officers have already been to the hotel to ask questions so the people who work at the hotel are getting annoyed because they don't want to attract attention to the hotel. Therefore, they have been busy in trying to get rid of these new detectives.

4. My favorite character right now is Miss Marple. I like her because she is very clever and when she picks up on something, you know she's picked up on something that you haven't, but she doesn't tell you what it is, so you end up really thinking over what you've read, trying to see if there is something very obvious that you have missed.

5. My least favorite character is Mr. Humpfries. He is a hotel staff trying to get rid of the detectives and is acting very suspicious. He is also an obnoxious character and isn't much fun to read about. He is constantly being cold to people and trying to get on their nerves which is very annoying.

6. Next I think that they are going to find the dead body and they are going to interview Miss Marple, and the story is going to take over from her point of view, and we will be looking at clues to try and identify who the murder really is. I think that the story is about to become really interesting.
