1) I recently finished my book. I was a little surprised with the ending. The book was great, but I thought that the ending was very predictable. In another way I'm glad that it was a cute happy ending, with the father finding Mango's blanket. I thought i was very predictable. Overall, I was very happy with the book.
2) The book was a lot better than I had expected. I think it was really well put together. It was very cute. I think the author went into very good detail about explaining how Mia felt. It was very easy to relate to her. When I was reading I really felt as if I had Mia's condition, and i really enjoyed that.
3) The biggest theme i noticed in this book was to be true to yourself, and always be who you are. I saw that most in Mia. Especially when she was hiding her secret from all her friends, and then eventually when everyone finds she realizes that she gained more attention and friends by showing her "true colors".
4) My favorite character is defiantly Mia. I think throughout the book, she really learned who she was. She learned a lot not just about other people, but a lot about herself. She is really easy to relate to and really sweet. She says in great detail about who she is, and when she finally accepts it, she eventually becomes proud of who she is. For me that is extremely inspiring.
5) My least favorite character is Mia's best friend, Jenna. She grows on me a lot more through out the book, because she ended up helping Mia with her problem. I think she was inconsiderate about Mia when she confronted Jenna about her disease, and instead made it about herself, and told people. I think Mia has every right to be upset at Jenna, because as her best friend, no matter how mad she was she should've kept Mia's secret.
6) I was very impressed by the book, and I thought it had a lot of lessons in it. Some more clear than others, but it was very good for people my age, and i would defiantly read it again!
