1. Will, Gilan and Horace are on an expidition to an outpost of an ally country to negociate peace terms for the upcoming war. The enimies are killing all the talented war leaders for Will's country, so war is inevitable.

2 I like this book a lot. It is full of adventure and action. The plot keeps me interested and is full of fun twists.

3. The theme is action. I notice this throughout the book, like when he's fighting the scary animals.

4. My favorite character is Will because he's smart and wily. He seems to know what to do and when to do it.

5. My least favorite character is Sir Rodney. He is the leader of the town battleschool and is grumpy. He is mean to everybody and too strict.

6. I think that the adventurers will find a bad suprise or a sneak attack on the King's Army.
