1. What is going on in your book?

Right now, Kate is mentally preparing for the risky birth of her sextuplets. She realizes that there is only a 50/50 chance that each baby will survive. Though she is taking this risk, Kate knows in her heart that she has done the right thing for her six little babies. Also, this story has hit the media! Jon has been speaking on behalf of the family at many press conferences. The family is anticipating the birth of their sons, daughters, brothers and sisters!

2. How do you feel about this book?

I fell in love with the Gosselins through their TLC show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. I was very upset when their show concluded due to the divorce, meaning I couldn’t see their smiling faces every Monday night. Then I came across Multiple Bles8ing. This book goes into depth on how this ordinary family coped with sextuplets! It shows emotion and hope that could not be portrayed on their daily life show.

3. What is a theme you have noticed in this book?

Perseverance is definitely present in this amazing story! When Kate first learns she is pregnant with sextuplets the doctor immediately begins to discuss reducing the number of developing babies. The two shocked Gosselins strongly refuse even considering this, though it may cost them a lot physically and mentally, forbidding an innocent human to live would be sinful. Kate perseveres with this risky pregnancy, hoping for the best. In fact, she was required to spend the last ten weeks of her pregnancy at the hospital on bed rest. Kate describes this hard, yet rewarding, time of her life.

4. Who is your favorite character?

My favorite character is Cara, the oldest of the twins. She is very caring and considerate of the struggles her family is facing. Cara, only four at the time, is supportive and low maintenance during this hard time. I believe this is a role model for all children whose family is going through hard times.

5. Who is your least favorite character?

My least favorite character is Mady, the younger of the twins. She has negative feelings towards the sextuplets, complaining that they are receiving all of the attention. She is very demanding during this stressful time for her family. I think she should take a cue from her sister considering she has six new brothers and sisters. Yet, again, she was only four at the time and this comes in more during the show.

6. What do you think will happen next?

Though, I know the rough outline of the plot, I believe the delivery will go extremely well, resulting in six healthy babies. An immense amount of gifts will be received, however, everything will be going so well, something will go off track. This could possibly be a slight health scare for one of the newborns. Whatever happens, I cannot wait to read more! J
