Crocodile Tears
Anthony Horowitz
Realistic Fiction
Just Right
END
1. In my book, Alex has just succesfully blown up the damn, flooding the plagued crops, and effectivley ruined Desmond McCain's plans to steal charity money. On top of that, he was able to kill Desmond McCain, and is now in the hospital recovering from numeroud injuries.
2. This book has been a very good read. It was full of action, suspense, and very exiting plot twists. You never knew what was going to happen next, or when it was going to happen.
3. Even after completing the book, I am still convinced that the theme of this book is manipulation. The MI6 is manipulating Alex by playing with his mind so that he will do what they want. Also, they only agree to do things that will help Alex have a normal life if he can do something for them, like when Alex needed to get rid of the nosy reporter.
4. My favorite character in this book is Alex Rider. His ability to think quick on his feet has saved his life many times. Also, he is very brave because he goes into extremley dangerous situations and comes out alive.
5. My least favorite character in this book was Alan Blunt. He is manipulating a 14 year old boy to go into deadly situations when he just wants to have a normal life, and this is unfair to Alex. Though he does care for Alex's safety, if he truly did care, he wouldn't put him in these situations in the first place.
6. I predict that in the next book (provided there is one) the MI6 will find a way to get alex to do what they want yet again. They always do.
