1. Right now in my book, the main character, Michael Brock, has just given up his career in one of the biggest law firms in Washington D.C. to go work in a small, under budget firm that works to protect homeless people's rights. Michael was recently held hostage at his old firm by a homeless man who had something against the firm. After barely surviving and then working in shelters to help the many homeless people of D.C., Michael decided that he wanted to make the switch to a much smaller firm in an attempt to help and protect the homeless. Although he would not make nearly as much money and would be working in an office that did not approach the quality of the huge office he had at his old firm, he decided he was ready for a change and wanted to help the less fortunate people of the city.

2. So far, I think the book is great. At first, I thougth the book was going to be to slow and challenging but it is easy book to read and it is very captivating. So far, it is not quite the action-packed thrilling kind of book I usually read but I can tell that it is going to get exciting. The plot seems to be slowly building up to a thrilling climax that will change the whole story. Overall, I am really enjoying this book and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

3. The theme that I notice so far in the book is secrecy. Michael is suspicious that a member of his old firm is hiding a file that might have some information about a previous eviction of some homeless people in a warehouse. This file seems to be well guarded and the information probably isn't ment to be seen. Michael steals the file to get a look at its contents but now he has the whole firm after him and he is sure they are hiding something.

4. My favorite character so far is Michael. So far, he is just an average lawyer and there is really nothing special about him. But unlike all the bigshot lawyers at his old firm, he actually cares about the people, not just how much money he makes. He gave up the chance to make millions of dollars so he could work in an under budget firm and help homeless people. The real estate division at his old firm are obviously hiding something in the file that Michael has stolen and he wants to find out about it. He seems like a smart man and now he is trying to uncover the secrets held within his old firm.

5. My least favorite character so far is a man named Braden Chance. He is a partner in the real estate division of Michael's old firm. He is the one who is hiding the file that Michael stole. Braden is a very angry man and never seems to be in a good mood. He is always yelling at people and is never friendly. He is a generally unhappy man and definately seems like he has a secret to hide.

6. My prediction of what will happen next is that Michael will not return the file to the firm and will continue to evade them. He will keep looking through and will eventually find a very important piece of information that will completely change his view of his old firm. He will probably find something in the file that has to do with the eviction of the several homeless people from the abandoned warehouse that took place a while ago
