A Walk to Remember
Realistic Fiction
Just Right
finished
1. I finished the book, but in the ending, Jamie dies of leukemia. But before she dies, her and Landon and her get married. Landon asks her to marry her after he falls inlove with her and figures out she's going to die because he feels like that was what the Lord's plan was all along. He figures out that this was the only time that the Lord some how communicated with him in his heart. He knew this was the best thing to do, even though they were only 17 years old, so that after she dies, he still remembers her and loves her until he dies, too.
2. This book was really well written. It also very inspiring. The book brought of the Lord a lot and the bible which made it kind of seem too religious at time, but then always had a lesson, or a meaning behind it as well. I loved every part of this book and would rate it a 9 just because the beginning was kind of boring because he exclaimed his life before Jamie.
3. A theme i have noticed is being religious because without the Lord in the book and in Jamie's mind, she wouldn't be herself. Also, no one in town would be the kind of person they are now without church everyday. The religion in the town teaches everyone a lesson at the end of the book.
4. My favorite character is Landon because he changes as a person from beginning to end in a positive ways and figures out who he wants to be and how he wants to act. He is a really good person.
5. My least favorite character is Eric because he is really bad-spirited and figures out all of his wrong-doings at the end when he knows that Jamie is going to die. He should have realized it before.
6. I some how knew that something bad was going to happen to Jamie. But, I like how Landon learns to cope with it but is still in love with her for the rest of his life after her death.
