I just finished

1. In the end of the book what happened is the main character Ruby and another character Nate started going out, then Ruby got specious when Nate came over with lots of bruises on his abdomen. Ruby found out that Nate's father hits him, and Nate won't let her help. This is what breaks their relationship apart. Nate does not want her to get involved while Ruby wants to help. Along with that, because Ruby is a senior she has finals that she hast to take to graduate which are also adding stress to her life, but with help from a 12-year old boy Gervais she is able to pass finals. After one stressful thing is off her shoulders another also falls off. Nate comes and talks to Ruby's sister Cora who is a lawyer about his problems with his dad.

2. I really enjoyed this book, it had it's own flair of romance, along with a triadic plot, along with depression which makes it a chick flick, which I love. The characters were also so different from what you think they would be like, based on what you heard from them at the beginning of the book. You felt the characters grow on each other, which enhanced the book even more than when I just started it. Overall, it was an excellent read which I recommend to anyone.

3. The theme in the book is family love, and you see that all the time. You see how a family is not a mom, dad, and kids, but a group of people who love each other. Such as Jamie, Cora, Ruby, and Nate. They complete each other with make them an awesome family. I also think the theme in the book is family love, because you see the characters grow together as a family, and become a family which show the theme as family love.

4. My favorite character is Cora, because she is very caring and heard working. She is also a mother to Ruby even though she is just her sister. She also really helps Ruby with all the stress in her live and provides everything Ruby needs such as new cloths, a house, an awesome school, ect.

5. My least favorite character is now Nate's dad, he is disturbing to me. He hits his son, while all his son does is get good grades, does deliveries for his dad, and not complain about anything. That is amazing to me that anyone could do that to their child, or even just make them work the hard, long , brutal hours.

6. The ending of the book was really good, but it was exactly like I thought it would be like. I knew Cora would end up being Nate's lawyer and help him with his fight against his dad. I also knew that Ruby and Nate would both end up going to the "U" together, it was a predictable, but good chick flick ending.
