1. Tyler has left no rock unturned, he and his father are finally getting along, he has been proven innocent of charges Bethany brought against him, he is dropping the AP classes he can't take and he has made himself more stable. He no longer thinks about running away or killing himself and he threw away his fathers gun.
2. I love this book, I think the pace is perfect and never left me bored. Everything has relevance to something going on in his life which made it interesting. Tyler's interests puzzled me and challenged me to understand him and it was a constant struggle throughout the book for me, which is exactly why I liked it.
3. A theme I've noticed in this book is the ability to deal with issues in your life peacefully, and how Tyler struggles with it throughout the book. He is almost done with probation and he breaks the curfew put in place. He has to many AP classes which leave him struggling on all of them so he stops trying for a while. He even relaxes himself by thinking of death and even tries to, twice, putting a gun to his mouth and going to the roof of his school with the intention of jumping off. After a while Tyler realizes that if something is to be fixed in your life you must take responsibility for it.
4. My favorite character is Tyler because he has a sense of humor that would be find to hard with other kids in his situation. He seems too smart to do the things he does and I root for him even when I see he's going to fall. He just recently became my favorite character when he took his life into his hands.
5. My least favorite character is Bethany. I think she played Tyler and I'm not exactly sure why. I think what happened to her was awful, but I also think she allows herself to lead a detrimental lifestyle and she deserves what happens to her.
6. I think Tyler will finish this year of high school and then go on to a less than satisfactory college considering all the trouble he has gotten in and the AP classes he has dropped. I think his relationship with his family will continue to progress and he will be a happier person in general.
