1. Right now I'm my book All three boys just got to there new school. They don't fit in at all. Everyone is afraid of them because they no they are juvenile delinquents and think they are dangerous. which they are but they aren't going to do any harm to the students. After school Gecko, Terance, and Arjay have do a required 12 hours of community service each day as a part of the deal for staying at the apartment and not at juvie. But for half the time Terence is taking bathroom breaks at Starbucks instead of cleaning the streets. Also when they were putting on there uniforms before they went out to pick up trash Terence took another mans wallet who just happened to be a stockbroker who got a D.U.I and was doing community service. But Arjay came over and made Terence give the man his wallet back. After community service Mr. Healy had them make dinner and do homework and that's as far as I have read.
2. I really like the book. I like how the kids are close to my age and i can see how my life and there lives are different and similar at the same time. I also like how the author has 3 kids in the book that are totally different people being together in one apartment.
3. A theme i see in this book so far is determination. I see determination with Mr. Healy when he was trying to get the halfway house passed so that he could bring the three boys and himself there. I also see it with Terence. Terence is always determined to take the easy way out. He did it at school when he took bathroom brakes for half of each class and when he was doing Community service he would take breaks for half of it.
4. My favorite character is Mr.healy. I like him because he has dedicated his life to kids that do bad things and he just wants to keep them off the streets. I also like him because he says that Terence, Gecko and, Arjay remind him of himself which makes me think that what he is doing is personal and not just for his job.
5. My least favorite charactor is definetly Ms. Vaughn. I dont like her because she is the one trying to shutdown the halfway house which would ruin everything. I also dont like her because of the way she was acting when she was at the school. She just doesn't sound like a nice lady.
6. I think that Terence will either try to run away or Get introuble at school like get in a fight with the kid who was selling cellphones in the bathroom.
