1. I recently started a book titled The Geometry of Sisters. It is about a girl named Beck, short for Rebecca. Her sister ran away when her father died, and when her sister left, half of Beck left too. C+B=Us This is the equation that makes up who Beck is, she often uses it after speaking of her sister, Carrie. Then, when things couldn't be worse, Beck's mother has decided to move the kids to Rhode Island. Now they must learn the ways of the rich kids at their new private school, where their mother is teaching.
2. So far, I am enjoying this book a fair amount. It's not as delectible as the books I have been reading lately, but I'm leaving my mind open in case there is something good coming up later on in the book.
3. One theme I have noticed is loneliness. Beck seems to be alone in her own little world. She doesn't really allow people to get close with her. I feel like ever since her sister left, she doesn't want to try to understand the events and people that come into her life, she doesn't seem to care.
4. My favorite character so far would have to be Travis. He's so up beat and happy. He's Beck's older brother. I like when he is part of the scenario in the book, it makes everything feel so much better and bright.
5. My least favorite character would have to be J.D. I haven't heard much about him but from what I've heard he used to be a trouble maker and he has a kind of creepy crush on Maura, Beck's mom. He just seems like a little bit of a weirdo.
6. I think that Beck is going to start to become more girly, and start getting the side of her that she lost back. I also think that Travis is going to gain feelings for Pell and possibly end up cheating on Ally.
