1. Right now in my book, Massie is still competing with Layne to get to Dempsey's heart. Both girls are expecting Kristin to help them get him because, he just moved next door to her. This puts Kristen in a hard situation because, Massie and Layne HATE each other. Dylan now likes Derrington and is trying to convince Massie to give up on him and just work on getting Dempsey. Massie is beginning to figure this out, but Dylan doesn't know this yet. Claire and Cam's Relationship is going great, they are back together again and all is well. Alicia still likes Josh and everything is going great for them too, like Claire and Cam. Recently, Dylan and Derrington started dating, without Massie's permission and since then, they have been trying to keep their relationship a secret. Massie has now started her schools first ever cheerleading squad...for soccer. Everything is going great until, she falls on Dempsey during the game when he has the ball. Not only does the ball get stolen from him and the other team scores, but Massie hurt his ankle.
2. Although I really like this book, I don't feel like the book has a focus point. In all the other books so far, The books have kind of been mostly about Massie and Claire, but this book is more about the other three girls. This just bugs me, I feel like Massie and Claire should be mentioned way more then they are. It also bugs me that the girl's families are barely in the book, usually they are mentioned at least once. I think it's really interesting though that Layne and Kristen are secretly friends. I also find it really funny that Massie and Layne are competing for the same guy the way they are. They are really obvious and they don't seem to care abou how dumb they look.
3. The main theme so far in this book is betrayal. This is because, all the girls are going behind each other's backs trying to get the boy they like to like them back. None of the girls are acting like friends because, they have so many secrets that they are constantly worrying about. In Kristen's case, the reason the theme would be this is because, she is secretly friends with Layne, the enemy. Also Kristen is hesitant to help Massie get Dempsey so, by doing this Kristen is betraying Massie and Layne at the same time because, she isn't helping Layne either.
4. My favorite character is Claire. Even though she isn't really mentioned as much in this book, Claire is always trying to be friendly, understanding and fun. When the girls are hanging out together and for whatever reason things suddenly get really tense, she's always the one that will try to change the subject, lightening the tense mood. I also love how down to earth Claire is. No matter what anyone else has, Claire is always happy to have what she has. She never really complains about anything.
5. My least character is Massie, although I can sometimes relate to her. She is really spoiled and always just assumes that she will get whatever she wants no matter what. Massie doesn't mind being mean to people in order to make herself feel better. She puts down almost anyone- including her friends. I also hate that Massie never seems to think about others and what they may be feeling .
6. Next, I think a huge fight will break out between Massie and Dylan over Derrington. In the middle of this argument I also think that Alica Will show Massie the picture she took of Dylan and Derrington kissing. This will only make the whole issue that much worse and it will get Alicia caught in the middle of the fight also. I have a feeling that in the end, none of the boys are going to end up liking any of the girls because, during the fight they are about to have they will probably get really nasty with each other. This will show the boys a side of the girls they had never seen before, I think seeing this part of the girls will shock the boys.
