1. Right now in my book, the law firm that Michael Brock just dropped out of has discovered that an important file from the real estate branch is missing and that Michael has taken it. Michael has just started his job at his new firm where he will be defending the homeless. The police have already arrived at his old apartment and his new firm to search for the missing file without success. Michael is working with a client who was one of the people evicted from a warehouse that seems to be the subject of the file Michael stole.

2. So far, I am really enjoying reading this book. It is the perfect book for me because there is a good amount of action that keeps the book exciting. There is also a secretive theme in the book that keeps it interesting. The file appears to hold information that wasn't meant to be seen by anyone except its owner. Overall, the book is attention-grabbing and there is always a new plot unfolding so I am never bored while reading it.

3. The theme that I have noticed so far is secrecy. The file is very important to its owner and Michael, the man who stole it. Michael thinks that something occured during the eviction that isn't supposed to be found out. He thinks something dirty is going on inside the firm and the information that could lead him to the answer is in the file. Its owner seems to care alot about getting it back, probably because he is worried that Michael will discover something inside.

4. My favorite character in the book so far is Michael Brock, the main character and the man who stole the file. I think that he is doing the right thing by taking the file. Although it is probably illegal, he has a feeling that something bad is going on in his old firm and he wants to get to the bottom of it. I believe that something bad is going on and he is probably going to find out what it is. He is a very smart character and always knows how to handle a situation in the right way.

5. My least favorite character so far is a man named Gasko. He is a member of the police force in Washington D.C. and he is not a very friendly man. He is the one who keeps barging in on Michael to search for the file that Michael stole. He seems to always be angry when ever he comes by for another search but then gets scared away when Michael starts screaming at him about an illegal search and how he is going to get sued. He just seems like a generally mad person who is never in a good mood.

6. My prediction of what will happen next is that Michael is going to get some new information about the eviction at the warehouse either from the file or from one of his clients. His old firm, the firm that he stole the file from will probably get irritated about still not getting the file back and might search Michael's apartment which could create a whole new conflict.
