Bryte Kiser : )

1. Bryte Kiser
2. Thirteen Reasons Why
3. Drama
4. Just Right
5. 75

1. Right now in my book, Clay Jenson, the main character is listening to all the tapes Hannah Baker has provided for him and the rest of the "victims." He states that he is "relieved every time his name isn't mentioned." Clay is on a bus trying to follow the map that Hannah sent to him in a package of tapes explaining as to why she ended her life. The map is taking him to a place where she would meet everyday with her two friends at the time, it was a coffee shop. He explains the guilt and confusion he feels.

2. So far, this book is one of the most intriguing books I have ever read. I am so interested to hear about why these tapes have changed Clay's life so much. I am also curious as to how Hannah must have felt that was so strong that she felt the need to commit suicide. I look forward to reading the rest of the book.

3. A theme i have noticed most in this book so far, is that we are all responsible for our own actions. She states that she never intended to blame anyone for the loss of her life, but that there were certain events, that triggered it.

4. My favorite character is Hannah. She is my favorite character because of the huge mistake she made, it helps make readers realize that suicide is not the answer, and that there is hope. Another thing I enjoy about Hannah is that she is not trying to blame anyone for her death, she accepts that it was her choice.

5. My least favorite character is Jessica. I think she tried to blame her problems on Hannah, and the fact that her and her boyfriend broke up, she needed somebody to blame to make her feel superior. That bugs me because she chose to believe rumors over Hannah who was one of her close friends. In the end it was all about herself.

6. A prediction of what is going to happen next in the book, is I think Clay will finally understand more of why Hannah committed suicide. Right now he is just following Hannah throughout her daily life, but there is no explanation yet of why she did this. I think the little signs she is putting in her tapes, and maps, he will finally start to complete the puzzle.
