Max Dunn
SilverFin
Charlie Higson
Action
"just right'

1. Not much has happened in the opening pages of SilverFin. James is going to Eton which is a very good private school that is attended by children all over the world. A tournament has just ended that is for the children at Eton. There are three events which are shooting, swimming, and cross country running. he won at cross country and he was lucky to. George Hellebore was very close to winning but only because he was cheating.

2. So far, this novel is kind of hard to read. The material itself isn't difficult it is the plot. It is just so boring. Although this is how the book is now I have a feeling that it will change. It must change because the main character is James Bond and anything involving him must be filled with adventure.

3. There isn't much of a theme right now because there is not much going on right now. If I could point out a theme it would most likely be fitting in. This is shown because Bond has just gotten to a new school where he knows no one and he is going to be there for a while. If he makes enemies it wouldn't be good.

4. My favorite character is presently James Bond. Not a lot has happened to show his characteristics. All I know is that he is a clever thirteen year old boy who is a great runner.

5. My least favorite character is George Hellebore. He is described as an American boy who is a bully. I have also taken note of the stereotype that Higson has laid upon Americans. He is British after all. Another reason that I have not to like him is that he cheated during the cross country portion of the tournament.

6. I believe that later in this book something will happen to James involving Hellebore and his father. I suspect these two because they now have a grudge against Bond for making George not come in first in the tournament.
