1. Right now in my book, the coaches of opposing teams have filed a complaint against Michael Arroyo. The complaint is that he is to old to be playing in this division. Michael needs to come up with a birth certificate to prove he is 12. His father had passed away and his birth certificate is in Havana, Cuba. Michael has no way of getting his birth certificate and until he does he cant play in the playoffs.

2. This book is a great read. I really like how the author makes you think and makes you feel what the characters are feeling as well. Also the author uses a little comedy to lighten the mood which I really like.

3. The theme right now in the book is friendship. I see this because whenever someone is feeling down, his or her friend is right there to make him or her feel better. Also the friendship in this book really helps the plot and makes the book really interesting.

4. Manny is my favorite character because even though he isn't the main character, he is always integrated into the book. He always knows what to say, when to be funny and when to be serious. I like him a lot because he gets Michael out of tough situations and he always is there to help Michael.

5. My least favorite characters are the coaches trying to make Michael get a birth certificate. They know that without Michael in the playoffs they have a lot better chance at winning. I really dislike them because they are being so mean even though they know Michael is 12.
