1. Right now in the book Percy has just returned from the lost island the Calypso lives on. In order to leave Percy had to make the decision which was very difficult because he can never return to the island because it moves and no person has ever found it twice. At camp Annabeth returned from the Labyrinth but no word has come from Grover and Tyson on their quest for the wild god Pan. They know that Luke's army is approaching and they are going to have to fight soon.
2. I think that this is a very good book. This book has tons of action and it has many plot focuses. I enjoy reading about the Labyrinth because it is a maze that is always changing so nobody knows how to navigate it, it just seems so cool. Also I think Greek mythology is really neat and this whole book revolves around it, which makes it an interesting read.
3. A theme I have noticed in the book is trust. I have seen it through most of the book. Juniper had to trust Grover that he would return from the Labyrinth having found Pan. Chiron trusted Quintis when he said he could help the camp. Annabeth trusted Percy when he said he could clean the horse stable and when he said he could fight the entire army of demons. Without the characters having trust in each other the quest wouldn't have happened and Luke's army would have already conquered the world.
4. My favorite character is probably Percy. Percy is cool because he is very strong, he probably posses the most power out of any demigod which is really cool. Also Percy has the power to control water and to make earthquakes, these are two very helpful powers that make him so strong and make him my favorite character. Also Percy always comes through in the clutch and he never fails under pressure.
5. My least favorite character right now is Nico Di Angelo. He is my least favorite because lately he has been so stubborn. He refuses to accept the fact that his sister cannot be brought back from the dead even though he is the son of Hades, the god of the underworld. Also he has been a jerk to Percy and Annabeth especially Percy though because Nico blames him for the death of his sister.
6. Next in the book I think that the camp is going to have to face Luke's army. I think this because he always seems to find a way to do things and he seems like the kind of person that would find the special string that will take you through the Labyrinth wherever you want to go. So he is going to lead his army to camp. I also think Grover and Tyson will return.
