1. My book is very intense and it has a lot of thing going on. First in the book we meet a boy named Shawn McDaniel who has cerebral palsy. The people that have met Shawn think he is retarded, but he actually is very smart. Since Shawn has cerebral palsy he can not move most of his body and because of this he just mostly sits around all day. When Shawn ever gets out of the house he remembers everything he sees and everything everyone says which makes him be able to relate to people. Everything is going well for Shawn until he figures out that his dad is trying to kill him. His dad is doing this because he thinks Shawn is in pain from his condition and that he is depressed that he can barely do anything. This is not even close to what Shawn feels, Shawn loves his life and everything in it. He doesn't mind that he has this condition and finds a good way to live life with it.

2. I love this book so far and I think that I will continue to love it until the end. I think I am so into this book because I have never read a book like this before. This is a new type of book for me because I usually read more girly books and I think this book is very hardcore. Also I love this book because the conditon cerebral palsy really intrests me because I have never met someone that this condition before. Lastly, this book makes me realized that if Shawn loves his life the way it is that I should be extremely grateful for mine.

3. I don't notice a prominant theme in this book yet but one theme that is sort of hidden in this book is overcoming obtacles. I see this sometimes when Shawn feels he is left out from the whole world and when he find out his dad is goin to kill him. When Shawn feels he is left out from the whole world he has to slow down and think how his life is great and that he gets to realized things normal people would overlook. Also Shawn has to find a way to tell his dad that he loves his life and not to kill him which is a pretty big obstacle for a kid with cerebral palsy.

4.My favorite character is this book so far is most definetly Shawn. This is because he made me realized how much I should appreciate what I have in life because of the condition on cerebral palsy he has. I also like him because even though he can't talk in this book you get to read what Shawn thinks from day to day and it is very interesting and he seems like a very cool person.

5.My least favorite character is Shawn's dad because of what he is planning to do to Shawn. I think this is totally outrageous to kill your own son. I think that Shawn's dad doesn't see how much Shawn loves his life and how he wants to stay in it. Also I think his dad thinks he is doing the right thing by putting his son out of misery but he isn't even sad in the first place.

6. I am sorry to say this but I think Shawns dad is going to kill Shawn and then realized after a while how much his son loved his life and family that he will regret it so much that he will then to kill himself.
