1. Right now in my book, Katniss and Peeta have been declared the winners of the Hunger Games. While in the games, they were told that two tributes could win if they are from the same district. While Peeta and Katniss team up, they manage to wipe out the competition, only to find an ugly surprise that the gamemakers decide to change the rules back. Peeta and Katniss refuse to fight each other and are about to kill each other at the same time, when the gamemakers say that they can both win because they would rather that then if they both die.

2. I am really enjoying this book and I'm finding it hard to put down because there's always some challenge and just as soon as Katniss is about to overcome the first challenge a new one sets in and she's finding that she never gets to rest. What I really love about this book though is that you never know what's going to be on the next page. With new twists and turns I just want to read it all at once.

3. A theme that is everywhere in the book is determination. Katniss is always telling herself that she has to get through and there are many times when she is about to give up, but then she remembers her little sister back home and decides that she couldn't bear to have her little sister which her die on television so she gets back up and keeps going, and that alone has saved her life many times.

4. My favorite character is the main character Katniss. She is a very determined girl with a strong mind and always working to stay alive or to get sponsors that can donate her gifts. Throughout the story we listen to what she thinks and she is a very clever girl. It's always fun to see what she thinks she should do and how she goes about doing it. It's no wonder that she won the hunger games.

5. My least favorite character is Peeta. He received an injury on his leg which has immobilized him so right now when survival is very important and you can't allow to be slowed down, he's very difficult to compensate for and I don't know why Katniss looks after him because she could have a much easier time without him and maybe he would be better off buried until he could get help too.

6. Next I think that Katniss and Peeta will be taken out of the arena and their injuries will be fixed up, but I think that the gamemakers are going to get mad because Katniss is always coming up with ideas to defy them, like how she made a plan to refuse to let there be only winner and also how when someone that she allied herself with was brutally killed, she made her a small grave out of flowers, which is against the idea of the Hunger Games.
