1) Right now in the book Roy just gave Toby a Winchester rifle for his birthday. Toby set up a bunker in his house next to the window when his mom isn't home and aims at people and pretends to shoot. One day he got bored and shot a squirrel. He felt really guilty after.

2) So far I like this book because of how it is based on a kid who is trying to enjoy life with divorced parents. I like how any boy can relate to at least one of his problems.

3) I haven't read that far into the book so it is hard for me do pick out a theme. If I had to choose a theme I would pick adolescence because it describes a young man's troubles.

4) My favorite character is Toby because I can really relate to him. He is like any teenage boy, he likes guns and he has problems with his family.

5) My least favorite character is Roy. I dislike him because he loves to be in control. He follows Toby's mom around to make sure she isn't up to anything. He also is abusive to Toby's mom.

6) I predict that because of Toby's family problems he will get in a lot of trouble. I think because he gets in trouble Roy will be abusive to him and he will run away.
