The Body of Christopher Reed
Carol Plum-Ucci
Mystery
Holiday

1) Right now in my book, the main character Tori is explaining how he thinks the strange boy who went missing last year in his school, is still out there. He was a typical high school boy, popular, and a football star. Although everyone thought he was crazy towards he still kept on with his search. That is why Tori moved away to a boarding school. He is now meeting new people, including his room mate in his dorm, who he strongly dislikes, as of now.

2) I think this book is going to be very mysterious and exciting! I'm not so far into the book, but i think it will be a great read, and very entertaining. I don't read mystery often, but when I do, I always enjoy it a lot. This book always keeps me wanting to know what is going to happen next, so i want to keep on reading.

3) So far, a theme i see in this book, is fitting in. I think that often time Tori is under a lot of pressure to fit in with the "in crowd" at his new school. I think because at his old school he was so popular and a huge football star. But once Christopher disappeared I think things changed so that is a major reason why Tori moved to boarding school, to get away from his old school because of feeling like such an outsider, or "freak" for thinking Christopher Creed is still alive. He also experiences his room mates homosexuality, and because of that he is very big outcast, and Tori is just trying to fit in for once, and he is seeking that through out the book.

4) So far Tori is my favorite character. I see a lot of myself in him. But he is also very different, and entitled to his own opinions. He is not afraid to say how he feels, but I think that also sometimes tends to get him into some trouble.

5) So far i don't really have a least favorite character. The book has mainly been focusing on Tori as the narrator. I'm not exactly fond of his new room mate, because I think he makes Tori feel upset about boarding school, or uncomfortable.

6) My prediction for this book is that later Tori and his room mate will become better friends. I think that also Tori will try and look into more evidence involving the body of Christopher Creed.
