1. Right now, Fire is being taken to the king City by the Prince. The Prince is the son of King Nash who is the leader of Dells. In the north and the south there are rebels that are trying to build up armies to overthrow the king. Fire is vital to the survival of the kingdom because she is the last remaining human monster. She has a wild appearance and hair the color of fire. She is adored and hated equally. She wants to make things right by helping to take down the rebels in the north and south. Maybe then she can get some respect from all the people that were hurt and killed by her evil dad.

2. I like this book right now. It's an interesting storyline so far and it is by one of my favorite authors. I really like her style of writing. Towards the begginning of the book, it is very slow moving. I like this in a book because i can know from the start if I'm going to like the book. Then, since the plot is very interesting and it got me hooked, I can start getting into it. After the first 30 pages the pace starts to pick up and you get to see some real action. Also, most of the key points in the book were already outlined, they just need to be elaborated on.

3. A theme I have noticed so far in the book is honor. Fire wants to redeem herself for what her father did to the people of Dells long ago. Even though she knows that is was not her fault, she feels that it is her responsibility to return the favor for letting her stay in the kingdom. She is very honorable because she is taking the blame for what her father did by defending the kingdom from rebel invaders.

4. My favorite character so far is Fire. I think she is going to be the only character in the book that you really get to know. She has red hair and an irresistable appearance. She is a nice person because she is repaying her debt to society because her dad was an evil monster. She is also an understanding person. She does not argue when she is asked to join the kings army in the King City. Also, since some people adore her for her personality, and other people hate her because of her father, she doesn't try to change peoples views of her. She knows who she is and she knows she will change peoples mind by proving to them that she is not like her father.

5. My least favorite character is Fire's dad. So far you don't know if he is dead or if he just got banished form the city. But, because he was an evil person, his daughter has to face the consequences. I don't like him because i don't believe that this is fair. If he killed people because he's a monster, he should have had the guts to say, don't take this out on my daughter. She didn't do anything to society, she wasn't even any part of it so it's not fair she is taking the blame.

6. I predict, that if the father is not dead, he will return to try and make things right. But it won't be simple becasue his daughter will hate him. She will go off to war and finish off the rebels to the city can live in harmony. When she returns, her monster of a dad will be waiting for her, telling her that he is sorry for ruining her life. He might be able to make things right eventually, but it will take a long time to earn everyones trust back after how bad he was long ago.
