1. Right now in my book Nanny is very stressed out. Connie was just fired in one of Mrs. X's crazy rampages and now Nanny is left to pack Mr. X's clothes. Mr. X is cheating on Mrs. X and Nanny is not sure if she should tell Mrs. X or not, but Mrs. X is going crazy since Mr. X is never home. Grayer is also very upset since his dad is never home, so Nanny has to deal with him too.

2. I am really enjoying this book so far. I am about 2/3 of the way through and I really want to finish it. I think that the authors do a great job of portraying how Nanny feels and how a typical Upper East Side 4-year-old would behave. I also find that the crazy things that Mrs. X does and says make the book more interesting and some parts almost unbelievable. There are 2 things that I don't understand though, why don't the X's have a real last name, and why is her name Nanny/Nan?

3. A theme that I see in my book right now is love. This theme appears between Grayer and Nanny very often because Nanny is pretty much the primary parent right now and Grayer has mentioned his love for her a couple of times. I also see this theme, or the opposite of this theme between Mr. and Mrs. X. Since Mr. X is cheating on Mrs. X, he is never home. This makes Mrs. X. want him even more but he is not in love with her anymore. You can see their marriage slowly falling apart throughout the book, while the love between Grayer and Nanny becomes stronger.

4. Currently, my favorite character is Grayer. Grayer is at a time in his life where he really needs his parents, but Nanny is taking on all of the responsibilities a parent should. I feel really bad for him and how he doesn't live a normal lifestyle. Despite this setback, Grayer is still a normal boy who escapes his problems and has fun.

5. My least favorite character is Mr. X right now. Mr. X is cheating on his wife with a woman from Chicago and has only been home in the last month once, saying that he has business meetings and work to do. I don't understand why he wouldn't just divorce his wife if he really doesn't like her that much, but really, why is he cheating in the first place? The time that he did come home, it was clear that Mrs. X missed him and wanted to spend time with him, but he just pushed her away and yelled at her. Mr. X is a dirty, cheating, liar!

6. I predict that Mrs. X is going to go even more crazy with Mr. X being away and that Nanny will end up being Mrs. X's punching bag for all of her problems. I also think that Grayer is going to miss his dad more and more and that he will be more attached to Nanny. One more thing is that I think that Mrs. X is going to find out that Mr. X is cheating on her.
