1. Right now in my book, the main character, Calder has disappeared in England and his two best friends are trying to find him. at the same time, a sculpture that was made by an artist named Calder has disappeared also. Now Petra and Tommy, who are trying to find Calder, are also looking for clues about this sculpture and finding similarities between these two disappearances.

2. Right now, I am really captivated in this book because I am trying to figure out what happen to Calder and this sculpture, and there are many different clues that they are finding and every time I turn the page, I learn something new and have a new theory. The book is a little easy to read, but either way, I have to keep reading and I find it hard to stop.

3. A theme I have noticed in this book a lot is friendship. Tommy and Petra both came to England to look for Calder, and although they were friends with Calder, they weren't really friends with each other and didn't get along too well. Now that they have the same task, they have come to rely on each other a lot. Without their friendship in this book, everything that they've done together wouldn't be possible and the book would get no where. I also see this theme when they are separated, because they are always thinking of how they wish they had the others company.

4. My favorite character is Calder because I love the way he thinks with puzzles. While we were following his perspective in the story, everything he does is wrapped around puzzles. I like mental puzzles, so it is really fun for me to try and figure things out that he figures out in a second. Also, because he thinks in puzzles, I get to do many more puzzles.

5. My least favorite character is Tommy. This is because he is the opposite of Calder in that he doesn't think. He is very headstrong and just does what he wants, and sees the consequences later. It can be frustrating for me to read about it and think of all the mistakes he's making, but it also makes the story a little more interesting.

6. Next I think that they will find the sculpture, and from that, all these connections will pop up and they will find Calder. The book is almost over, so there can't be too much left, and I'm wondering how the author is going to fit it all in because the way this author writes and the amount of story that there is left to tell makes me think that it is not going to be pushed into a sequel.
