1. Right now in my book The quarter quell has just been announced. This is every 25th anniversary of the start of the Hunger Games. This year the special event will be contestants being picked form the pool of winners. This means everyone that goes into the games will already have won a Hunger Games. Katniss is the only girl to be picked and Peeta volunteers to go in with her. He still wants to keep her alive but her goal is to die to keep Peeta ta alive. Since during the training, both contestants from district 12 embarrassed the game makers. To get back at them Kanitss and Peeta, they give them both high scores. This makes them primary targets for everyone else in the games. Accept for the allies that there coach has provided. They figure out that the entire arena is a clock and the same things happen in the same place everyday. To stay alive they move with the clock.



2. I really like this book. It is one of my favorites of all time. I like it better then the first book because this one was was a lot harder to predict. I really had no idea what was going to happen next because I never expected them going back into the games. I really thought they were going to try and start a rebellion from district 12. But now, since they have changed the story so much, I can still be surprised with what will happen. This makes the book much more interesting for me to read and it keeps me flipping the pages because I'm always left hanging.



3. A theme I have noticed so far in the book is love. Katniss thinks that she is only putting on this love act for the audience. Everyone knows Peeta loves Katniss and always will. Katniss however, doesn't know what she feels about Peeta. But, to everyone else it is obvious that she loves him deep down. This is why she has decided that since he kept her alive last time, she will risk her life to keep him alive. I really feel that she and Peeta once they get through with this big problem that they have started, they will get married. I don't think they would have any children because they love each other too much. There children would go into the Hunger Games and they could not stand to watch one another lose a child that they love so much.



4. My favorite character so far is Katniss. She survived the first Hunger Games because the man that was in love with her saved her. Now when she wants to start a rebellion and make the capitol look bad, she is willing to die for Peeta. Since everyone thinks she has a baby coming this would surely start some trouble because the audience likes her by far the best. I really think that since she stayed alive because of him she is a good person for trying to return the favor. Even if everything doesn't end the way she planned, which we we all know it won't, at least she tried her best. For these reasons i respect her and she is my favorite character.

5. Right now my least favorite character is President Snow. He is an evil ruler that started the Hunger Games. he enjoys watching people kill each other to live which I think is sick. He doesn't make any rules so people can die slow painful deaths with no help. He changes the rules in the games to make people turn on each other. He also is making people that have already won the Hunger Games go back in. So when they won, one out of 24 people. Now they are in another pool of 23 other winners. He is trying to prove that even the strongest of the strong can not be stronger then the capitol. He also kills your friends and family and ruins your life if you upset him.

6. My future prediction is thyat when there are only a couple contestants left, they will form a pact. They will not kill each other so they can prove the capitol does not control them. There will be severe consequences to everyone they know, but it is worth it to overthrow the capitol. They will start up full scale rebellions and travel to district 13. This was thought to be extcint but it is not. The capitol only says that because it is a bunch of rebels who hid under ground and have nuclear weapons. This is why the capitol does not dare take them out. I tihnk that the rebellion will be a success and that the 12 distrcits will be able to live in harmony for the rest of there lives.
