1. Right now, the main character (Katniss) has tried to set up a trap so that the careers don't have as much food left and they die sooner, but since the careers have a techie, they set up mines to protect the food, Katniss could not set up the trap. Also, Katniss had just found out that Rue died.
2. Right now, I REALLY like the book because it's interesting and exhilarating to read. Also, the whole idea of a match where kids our age fight to the death is interesting to me.
3. The dominant theme is pulling together. I see this theme in the characters Katniss and Peeta, the boy fighting in the same District as her, because right now Katniss is treating Peeta's wounds that he suffered.
4. My favorite character is Peeta because he is sort of adventurous and the other characters in the book aren't as interesting as Peeta, District 12, is.
5. My least favorite character is the man who coached her and helped her do the interview because he was a complete jerk and he was being mean to Katniss even though she is going through a hard time right now.
6. I think that Katniss will win the games, and everything will be happy ever after.

The People of Sparks the second Book of Ember

1. Right now in my book the leaders of Spark are deciding what to do with the People of Ember. Should they let them stay, tell them to leave, show them to a different community or help them build a new settlement for themselves? The people form Ember used to live under ground and this is a new world for them. They no longer have a mayor and had been walking for two days to get to Spark. Lina, Poppy, and Mrs. Murdo are staying in the doctor’s house because Poppy seems to be very sick. Doon and is father are staying in the plaza with the other people who aren’t elderly, sick or have young children.
2. The book is okay. I read The City of Ember for school summer reading and enjoyed it a lot so I am hoping this one will be as good. I liked the fantasy eliminate in the last book and I hope it will still be as dominant in this book. I am really glad that the most of the people of Ember got out before the city died. At the end of The City of Ember you don’t know if everything turned out all right for them all. So far I am enjoying the book and I wonder if Poppy will be okay and that the people of Ember will find a way to survive.
3. The dominant theme in the book is survival right now. Because they want their community to serve and be able to settle down and become a city again. Right now you don’t know what is going to happen to them and it is up in the air how things may pan out in the end. Also, they don’t want the people in their town to not get enough food or get sick and die. They are all afraid that they may not survive. And if the don’t survive all the effort that went in to them being able to leave Ember and actually leaving Ember will be a waste.
4. My favorite character is Doon. He isn’t as energetic and friendly as Lina and seems to sometimes go unnoticed. He his really into bugs and seems to be very smart and intelligent. He helped discover the way out of Ember and is a very important character. I hope he becomes a more prominent role in the book and that it shows his perspective more.
5. My least favorite character is the doctor’s son. A boy a little younger then Doon and Lina named Torren. He is not being very friendly to the new comers from Ember. He is being very rude to Lina, Mrs. Murdo, and Poppy, when the doctor says that they can’t sleep in his loft. He says they can’t sleep there because they will go through his and a character named Caspar’s stuff. He complains and says were will he sleep and probably makes Lina and her family feels very uncomfortable.
6. I think that the leaders of Spark will decide to help the people of Ember start and create there own town instead of sending them away or letting them stay. Also, I think that Poppy will become healthy because right bow in the book she is very sick. Everyone from Ember will explore all the new stuff in this place they have never been before and learn all about it.

BODY:

1. Right now in my book Hugo Carbet the main character made a deal with the toy booth owner that if he worked for him their would be a chance of Hugo getting his notebook back. Also Hugo and Isabelle snuck into a movie theater got caught. Hugo is also fixing his automaton up so quickly it is one more reason he tries to get his notebook back.

2. I feel this is a good book because the way the author spends a lot of time explaining the setting makes it easy to follow. The book also has a good amount of pictures to show what the characters look like so it gives you a better view of the story.

3. The theme I notice right now in my book is curiosity because there are many time were it shows some characters begging curious. One time is when the toy booth owner was so curious about why Hugo wanted his notebook back so badly. Also like how Isabelle wanted to find out why Hugo did not want her to look in his notebook so she kept asking if she can look.

4. My favorite character right now is Isabelle because she has been nice and loyal to Hugo. Even though he has been pretty mean to her. Also how she had the guts to steal the notebook from the toy booth owner (papa Georges).

5. My least favorite character is the toy booth owner still. Mainly because he won’t give Hugo his notebook back and Hugo needs it to finish the automaton.

6. The prediction I have for next time is that Hugo takes the notebook and finishes the automaton and the toy booth owner goes looking for him and find the automtun.

1. Right now in my book Dallas and Florida have been told about the underground Funds. Florida is very excited about them and she wants to find them so her and Dallas can catch the midnight train out of Boxton. But Dallas likes Ruby holler and wants to stay.
2. I like the book so far. I have read other books by Sharon Creech and I think that her writing style is unique, because she gives so much detail. Also I like the story line a lot.
3. The dominate theme in Ruby Holler is friend ship. I think that this is a dominate theme because not only are Dallas and Florida twins they are best friends. Also not only are Tiller and Sairy husband and wife they are best friends as well.
4. My favorite character is Dallas. He is my favorite because he is the more laid back of the two twins. Also he is very imaginative and likes to day dream a lot. He is a very easy character to get to know.
5. My least favorite character is Mr. Trepid the owner of The Boxton Creek Home. He is always mean to all of the children and never pays any attention to them. Also he has so many rules that even if the children are the most perfect well behaved kids they are breaking some type of rule.
6. My Prediction is that the twins are going to find the underground funds which they will take money from it. But they will not tell Tiller or Sairy. Also I think that they will ride the train out of Boxton.

1. Right now, I'm learning about Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's "answer-back cure". Mrs. Piggle Wiggle is this lady who lives in an upside down house and is friends with all the kids. She makes even work fun and so all the parents love her and call her up whenever there's a problem they're having with their kids. So far I've learned the "won't-pick-up-toys cure" and I'm learning the "answer-back cure".

2. This is one of my favorite books. The last time I read it was last summer so I wanted to read it again. I love it because Mrs. Piggle Wiggle is the best and I wish she was my nanny or something. Even though this book would appeal to younger people more, I think it's amazing.

3. The theme is probably learning. I see this as the theme because every page in the book shows the kids learning new things to use in daily life from Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. For example, when Mary Lou went to her house because she ran away from home because she didn't want to do dishes Mrs. Piggle Wiggle taught her a way she could wash dishes for fun.

4. My favorite character is Hubert because he has a lot of toys and I like his name. His grandfather feels bad that he got the name Hubert so he gives him a lot of toys. Hubert has so many toys that eventually he can't get out of his room because his mom takes Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's advice of not cleaning it for him. I like him because he slept on his toys and just totally ignored the fact that his room was a horrible mess.

5. My least favorite character is Mrs. O'Toole because she keeps talking to people about her daughter and how she doesn't talk very nicely. She tells everyone about it and I just don't like how she does that.

6. I think Mrs. Piggle Wiggle is going to somehow have to leave all the children and everyone's going to be sad and then her magical hump on her back is going to bring her back!

1. Right now in my book Mary is on a Swedish ship leaving Japan. It is during World War Two and she has to leave her house. A couple of soldiers arrived at her house and told her that she had to leave the next day. They also told her that she could only bring two suitcases out of the country with her. After the soldiers leave Mary realizes that Kentaro sent them as a last act for her. She did not want to leave her house but it would be dangerous to stay and she could not say no to the soldiers. It is not clear where the ship is going to but I believe it is either going to England, Sweden or the USA.

2. I like the book right now but I do not like all of the mystery. For example, where is she going? Who is this annoying lady she mentions? However, the suspense of nearing the end of the book and finding out all of this information is inspiring me to continue (only five more pages to read!). I also find the writing style easy to read and the main character is very interesting.

3. I think the theme right now is never giving up. Throughout the book, right when you think Mary is getting settled and everything is going nicely something happens and she has to start all over again. Each time her situation (financially) gets worse and worse. But every time this happens she jumps back again and again until she is sent away on a ship. In a way, she has to start over again like before. The difference though, is that this time she has accumulated some backup so it will be easier to start fresh.

4. My favorite character right now is Jane, Mary’s daughter. Although she is definitely not a main character I like her because she contacts her embarrassment of a mother despite the fact that she has most likely been brought up not to like her. In the book she writes to Mary and it is clear in the letter that she is simply writing to her mother because she wants to, not because she must.

5. Right now my least favorite character is most likely Emma. She was Mary’s friend but then she ruined her husband's life. Emma left Bob to go to the USA with her children. Her reason was that she did not want any more kids. When she left she made Bob very upset and he began to drink. All in all, Emma ruins the rest of Bob’s life.

6. I think that since Mary has been sort of reunited with Jane she will be reunited with her other child, Tomo, by the end of the book. I also think that Kentaro will do one last thing for Mary to make up for the trouble he has caused her or at least, spend time with her again.

1, Right now in my book, Holden has been kicked out of school and beat up by his roommate. He has decided the only sensible thing to do is to runaway from Pencey and spend the next four days in NYC, before he goes home for the holidays and has to tell his mom he got "the ax". He spent the last night in the city just hanging around in random clubs. Today he's going to a matinee with a girl he knows.

2, I really like this book at the moment. It has such an improbable story line and it always seems like it may turn, so I want to keep reading. However the kid has pretty lousy vocabulary and he always uses the same words, which makes the story monotonous and repetitive.

3, I think the main theme of this book is the importance honesty. If you keep things from people, such as getting kicked out of school, things will come back to you, as you will see in my part 6.
4, My favorite character is Holden, for the sole reason that he has basically been the only character to like/not like. There were a few other people but their visits into the story seem far and few between. I like him because he seems adventurous and fun. Also a bit creative.

5, My least favorite character would be Ackley, a kid in the room next to him. He has some disgusting habits and he's extremely obnoxious. Also, he drones on about things that seem to prolong the story.

6, I think that in the chapters to come, I think Holden will get caught up in some drastic event, or lost in NYC. I think the story could use some excitement, considering the pace of the book.

1. Right now, Massie and her friends are desperately searching for the key that unlocks the legendary secret room at OCD. Their only clue is a poem from 8th grader Skye Hamilton. The person who finds it gets unlimited access to it for a year and the fabulous extra thing that comes with it. She is starting to panic because other girls are getting closer. Meanwhile, Claire is offered a big part in a movie that could be the beginning of a new glamorous Hollywood life. This is a dream come true for her because she loves acting. But if she does take the part, she has to move to the other side of the world and leave her friends. Claire is torn between her friends and Westchester life and her possible stardom as a famous actress. To make things worse, Massie has kicked Claire out of her clique because she thinks that Claire has decided to ditch her friends, and because Massie's jealous that Claire was offered a big role in a movie.

2.I am really enjoying this book right now because it much more exciting, suspenseful, and has a better plot than the other books in the series that I've read. I like how this book has a bit of a mystery twist in it. The part that makes this book like a mystery is when Massie is given a poem from Skye that is the only clue to find the key to the secret OCD room. I like how the author included Claire's situation because many people often have to choose between two difficult options that will change their future, even if their situation is not as extreme as Claire's.

3. A theme that I've seen is the want of superiority/domination. Massie is going to all this trouble to find the key that unlocks the secret room in OCD because she knows it will automatically earn her and her friends a spot as the "alphas" in 8th grade next year. She wants this so badly that she will go to extreme measures to get the key. Skye's peom said it was under the matress of a Westchester boy, and at one point Massie goes to the extent of basically breaking into a boy's house, raiding his bedroom in search of the key, and leaving in a mad dash when the key is not there. She is very serious and concentrated about finding the key and won't let anyone or anything stop her.

4. My favorite character is Layne, Claire's best friend. I like Layne because she has a unique sense of style and dares to be different. She really doesn't care about what other people think of her. When Massie made fun of Layne for dressing in "unmatching" and crazy clothing, Layne ignores Massie's comment, which doesn't bother her at all. Also she has a warm personality, which made her Claire's first friend at Westchester. When Claire was the one who didn't fit in on her first day at OCD, Layne welcomed her and showed her around. She will choose her friends by what their personality is like, not by what they look like or their social status.

5. My least favorite character is Massie because she's always thinking about herself and putting other people down. Massie kicked Claire out of her clique because she thought, "Why did Kuh-laire get that part in the movie and not ME?!" "I'm so much better than Claire" and "I'm too good for her". When Claire was torn between staying in Westchester and leaving, instead of being a good friend and encouraging her to follow her dreams and do what you think is right, Massie pressured Claire to stay in Westchester and made her feel like if she left Westchester, then she'd be abandoning her friends and letting them down. She makes Claire a target to make fun of because she thinks Claire is the weakest and easiest to pick on.

6. I think Claire and Massie will make up and become friends again, and that Claire will decide to stay in Westchester but not because Massie said so, because she wants to. Massie her friends will find the key that unlocks the legendary room and become the 8th grade alphas next year.

The Green Mile
Stephen King
Realistic Fiction

Page 43

1. Right now in The Green Mile by Stephen King the main character Paul Edgecombe is working at a prison for convicted murders. He is not only a worker at the Cold Mountain Penitentiary he is also often a witness of the death sentence for many of the murders that go there. The book is set in the 1930’s and they used the electric chair for the death sentence. A prisoner named John Coffey just arrived at the prison and he is humongous. He is the largest prisoner Paul has ever seen and he is at the prison for murdering two little girls.

2. I really like this book so far. Especially the part I just read. It is about exactly what John Coffey did to be put in prison. It is pretty gross but it is also full of action and suspense. The book is good because I really like the main character Paul Edgecombe. He is just a normal guy but his job happens to be looking after prisoners that are on death-row. It is really cool how the author tells the story like it has happened in the past with just the right amount of foreshadowing.

3. A dominant theme in this book is fear. I think this is a big theme because all of the prisoners are afraid for their lives. Most of them know that they have been sentenced to death but as they walk the green mile (the path to the electric chair) they are always very afraid. Also allot of the security guards at the prison are afraid for the prisoners because no one likes to see death.

4. My favorite character is Paul Edgecombe. I don’t like him that much because he is kind-of a loner, but I don’t like any of the other characters because most of them are murders. He is a good guy and he is fairly nice to the prisoners. This makes him likeable but it is probably dangerous too.

5. My least favorite character is John Coffey. I used to think he was O.K. until I found out that he murdered two nine year old girls. This made me like him allot less. He is pretty quiet and contained but he is also a murderer so he is creepy. He is pretty much illiterate which makes me feel bad for him. Despite that he is my least favorite character.

6. I predict that Paul will befriend John Coffey. I think this partially because I have seen commercials for the movie, and because of the way Paul describes John. I think it will be really hard for Paul to have to watch Paul walk the green mile. Paul might even do something drastic that would try to save John’s life. I doubt he would succeed though.

1. Right now the ASP camp dwellers are making a giant raft out of all their surf boards and huts to escape the island. They are working fast to escape so king Talon and the entire Blue Raptor army won't kill them all and possibly wipe out what few are left of the entire human race off the face of the earth. their friend named Rat is helping them along the way by visiting every once in a while and helping build.

2.I am loving this book so far. It has action and adventure like a spy book or something else very action like and it is a science fiction book too. since it is science it has the kind of mad scientist creation in it since the world is different and there are new creatures created by science. I love both of those types of stories and the are in the same book so it makes it great for me.

3. The dominant theme is suspense. There are so many times in the book where you don't know what's around the corner or what is going to happen to this person etc.

4.My favorite character is Ash. Ash just keeps the story going and always takes charge. Also, she has an upbeat attitude and knows what to do in any situation.

5. My least favorite character is Rich. He is really stupid and stubborn. He won't listen to Ash and thinks he can fight anything. He acts like a jerk allot too. He isn't very nice at all.

6.I predict that the dwellers will make it out to sea in time before King talon comes back to kill them. Then they will either make a new camp or find more humans on there journey on the sea.

1. What is going on in your book right now?

Right now, Bella is dealing with the aftermath of the car incident in the school’s parking lot. Tyler had been driving his van, when it slides on the ice, his car was skidding straight towards Bella! Mysteriously, Edward, who was on the other side of the parking lot, moved Bella out of the way and stopped the car from hitting her. Bella has just gotten back to Charlie’s house from the hospital. She has been trying to calm her mother down about the accident. Also, she is confused about how Edward could have moved so fast to save her. At the hospital, Edward insisted that he was standing right next to her when it happened but she knows he was on the other side of the parking lot.

2. How do you feel about your book so far?

I love this book. I am actually re-reading the book (I read it last year) and then I am going to complete the series. Meyer places you into Bella’s steps and you feel as though you are looking through her eyes at life. My favorite aspect of the book is the overall question she places on the reader during the preface: Would dying in the place of someone you love be a good way to die? I find this is an overarching theme of the book. Even though I am re-reading this book, Meyer did such a good job with it that I still can’t put it down! I believe this is very hard for an author to pull off as the reader already knows the plot.

3. What is a theme in the book you have noticed so far?

A theme I have noticed in Twilight so far is independence. Stephanie Meyer uses the protagonist, Bella, to portray this amazing theme. From the first page when Bella is moving to Forks to be with Charlie you see independence. She has decided to break free from her mom and try a new lifestyle with her father. I think it is very daring as I would never want to have things change unless necessary. Also, once in Forks, Bella takes over the job of cleaning for Charlie and herself. No one told her she had to do this. She independently decided to take on this role. Through out this book, I hope to take from the steps Bella takes towards being more independent and relying on yourself for more instead of others.

4. Who is your favorite character?

My favorite character at the moment is Charlie Swan. He seems like a genuine nice guy. I think he is very kind and welcoming to Bella. For example, he purchased her a truck. I feel as though he has been lonely and is glad he will have some company for a while. Through the other characters you can definitely tell that he was excited about Bella coming.

5. Who is your least favorite character?

Right now my least favorite character is Bella’s mom. She has been continuously checking in on Bella and I think she looks at Bella as still a little kid. She has to accept the fact that Bella is growing up and needs more independence. I hope throughout the book she starts to calm down about not having Bella with her and letting her be independent and lead her own life.

6. What do you think is going to happen next?

From what I remember from reading this book last year, I believe Bella is going to start to hanging out more with Edward. However, she will notice there is something peculiar about the Cullens. Also, I believe she goes to La Push with Mike, Jess, Angela, Eric and some of her other friends and sees Jacob Black. He informs Bella about the Cullens being vampires and she goes home and does research about it. I believe from the point I am at now the book’s pace only gets faster.

1. Right now in my book Orville is in Ireland on a vacation with his dad. He is backpacking around Ireland “visiting all his relatives” while his dad is teaching for a sister- town program. On his first day backpacking on his own, Orville gets robbed by some boys on the street- they stole the watch that Will had given Orville that had meant a lot to him. A few minutes after his watch was stolen Orville saw one of the boys that helped steal his watch running up the street towards Orville- the police were chasing him! Orville quickly ducked behind a corner and when the boy went to turn the corner Orville tripped him. Now the boys that stole Orville’s watch are trying to find him to get back at him for tripping the boy which allowed the police to catch up to him. A few days after this incident Orville decides to move on, but instead of going to visit another relative he decides to go with some travelers that he had become friends with earlier. Orville and his friend Ceili (one of the travelers) just found one of the clues to the most famous treasure in Ireland, now they’ve decided that they will try to find it together.

2. So far I like this book. It wasn’t slow in the beginning like most books I read; from the first page I was hooked. I think the setting change is nice, but I think it can also be a little distracting to the series and the storyline - which all take place where Orville lives in Belltown. I like that in every book though Orville makes new friends, but he is still talks to his other friends equally as much.

3. Well so far in my book I think the most dominant theme is friendship. In the first few pages of the book Orville’s watch that his friend Will gave him before he passed away is stolen. Friendship is dominant in this book because, Orville is determined to get this watch back- especially since it is his most precious memory of Will. Another example of friendship is when Orville found Ceilli’s shawl, he is determined to get it back to her because he thinks it may mean a lot to her just like his watch did. Even though Orville and Ceilli weren’t friends when Orville returned her shawl to her, I think this is important because it started their friendship.

4. My favorite character is Orville because; through solving his mysteries he helps a lot of people. I like that he always tries to think about how people feel. I also like that Orville never gives up when he starts something, no matter how tough it may seem. I like the way Orville figures things out using different ways of reasoning than I do- he really thinks outside the box!

5. My least favorite character is patch. He is the oldest boy of the ones that stole Orville’s watch. Patch is very violent, I think he will only be a problem threw out the book. I also think that Patch is a bad influence on the other boys that help him steal.

6. Next I think that Patch will find Orville and he will try to kill/hurt him again. I also think that Orville and Ceilli will find another clue to the treasure, but maybe someone else knows about the treasure. If someone does they may have already found some of the clues, so Orville and Ceilli will have trouble once they get a little further along. I wonder if they will find the clues in the wrong order, if there are clues before the one they have. Then they would be going backwards away from the treasure.

2. The begining of the book wasn't very exciting because it was about him saying that he had a boring and messed up life. It was boring because he was sitting doing drugs with his friend for the first 30 pages of the book. It has gotten a little more exciting because Jack is on the run from the police.

3. I think that the main theme in the book is trust because in the begining of the book Jack met up with his old friend who he used to work with and he offered him to go on a trip selling drugs. Jack and Tim had to trust each other that they wouldn't rat each other out.

4. Jack is my favorite character because he is thinking of being a more responsible person after he turns himself in. Also I like how he took his dad's advice to turn himself in instead of getting into more trouble and running.

5. My least favorite character in the book is Hamilton because he is someone you don't trust at all and you know he is weak.

6. I predict that Jack will go back to jail for a second time and then turn his life around.

1. Right now in the book, Chan, the main character Found out his sister had died in a car accident. Since he moved to Minnesota, he has really enjoyed playing football. Now that this traumatic event has happened, he has been sulking a lot and getting angry really easily. He is in so much shock, he decides he might not play football anymore, and he is the team’s best kicker.

2. I really enjoy this book because I can relate to him. I am also a Korean kid, who plays football, even though he is older than me, I also enjoy football.

3. The theme here is enjoying football, if it is a real theme. Chan enjoys football so much, he practices before football practice, and after it.

4. My favorite character is Chan's dead sister, Young because she is always happy and calm. She is very nice and always tries to help Chan in some way.

5. My least favorite character is Rom because he is a huge jerk to Chan and his girlfriend. He is racist to Chan by calling him a ching. He also sometimes teases his girlfriend.

6. I think that Chan will start playing football again after he gets over the fact that his sister is dead.

1. Right now in my book Bryce and Juli are not getting along so great. Juli really like Bryce but Bryce thinks she is weird. Then one day when Juli’s favorite tree which happened to be the ugliest, biggest sycamore tree gets cut down Bryce starts to feel bad for her.
2. This book in snot like nay other nook I have read. I really like how you here the story from Bryce’s perspective then you here it again from Juli’s perspective because the perspectives are so different.
3. I think the dominant theme in the book is friendship. It is not the normal friendship you would see where they are best friends it is the type of friendship where it is a love-hate relation ship. Bryce says he does not really like Juli but he really does and they don’t get along but they semi like each other.
4. My favorite character is Juli, because she has a really good outtake on life. She is very positive. Also, she is not giving up on Bryce, she is very persistent and she is going to bug him until one day they are friends.
5. My least favorite character is Bryce’s dad because he is so mean to Juli. I think Juli is innocent but he does not like her for the reason that she is loud and likes to have fun.
6. I think the next thing that is going happen is that Bryce is going to start liking Juli. I think that Bryce doesn’t think that she is that bad but he is intimidated by her because she is more of a dare devil and would rather be a hundred feet off the ground when Bryce would like to have two feet planted on the ground.

1. I found out that Pauly was the one that killed Stella, but it was by accident. He got really mad at her, so he pushed her over in the cellar, and she hit her head and got knocked out, and eventually died. Tghe police are still looking for Raymond by the time that the book is over, so it didn't say what happened to him, other then that he was still missing. The main character, Pete, goes on with his normal life in college, but ends up dationg Nicole again. Eric and Wes are together but they are in jail as well for not telling anyone about the murder of Stella and burning her body so nobody would find out, to help Pauly.
2. I really liked the book because it was really intense and very hard to put down. Every chapter had something new and adventurous happening. I didn't like the ending though, because I wanted to know what happened to Raymond! Where is he? Is he dead? Those were the questions I was still asking when I finished the last pages.
3. The main theme of the book overall was probably not telling the truth. Throughout the whole entire book, Pete rarely told the truth. When his dad asked him questions, he would never tell everything he knew, he would only tell the things to his Father that he would tell anyone. He kept alot of things to himself. Also, By Pauly, Wes, and Eric not confessing that they had something to do with the murder, was lying to. If they told the real story about how it was an accident, they wouldn't have got in that much trouble.
4. My favorite character in the book was Pete because he stood up for himself alot, even if it was in a life or death situation. He believed in himself and didn't care what other people thought in him. He also was a really true friend to Raymond. I could tell throughout the whole book, that Pete likes Raymond alot, and he met alot to him, so when he figured out that he would never see Raymond again, know matter how weird he really was, he was truely crushed by that.
5. My least favorite charatcer in the book was Wes Campbell. I didnt like him because he used violence to solve things. He even hurt his boyfriend, Eric with a knife in the thigh because Eric and him got in a fight. He was also very mean and only cared about himself and what was right for him. He cared alot about what people thought about him, so he pretended to act all tough infront of people, when really he acts like a teddy bear, when not around people.
6. The ending didnt turn out the way I pictured it. I predicted that Everything will turn out happily ever after. Pete would find Raymond. But not completely happily ever after, because I also predicted that Stella would be murdered which was right. But I am bummed out that Pete didn't find Raymond, and that the conclusion of the book was the police still looking for him. I couldn't picture myself in Pete's position.

1. Right now the madman Mal'kah is trying to find the name for god. He belives this will lead him to unimaginable power. He thinks the only person that can help him find this is Robert Langdon, a proffessor at Harvard University. The Ancient mysteries are clue from many thousands of years ago that show to the enlightened how to achieve great power. Robert is trying to help this man so he can save his friends who are dying.

2. So far in the book i believe it is the best book i have ever read. I really like it because of the suspence that always keeps you wanting to read more and more. You can never guess what is going to happen next because like all of his books, the author gives twists that you could never imagine. For all these reasons The Lost Symbol is the best book I have ever read.

3. A theme i have notices so far is belief. The reason this madman is going through such lengths to find this word is because he belives god's messangers layed out the clues. From lots of ancient texts that are very mysterious he believes all that we know now was once known by the ancients. He belives this information has been lost throughout time and he can get it all back because only the true enlightened can uncode the clues.

4. My favorite character is Director Sato. She is a high ranking mason who is the director of the CIA. She belives if this madman can get this information the world will be sent into chaous. She risks her life and her job to ensure that this ancient text is kept a secret form those who are unworthy to control its true potential. She is there through the entire book helping everone and without her the book would be a complete mess.

5. My least favorite character is mAL'kah. He belives he is doing the right thing by finding this ancient information but he is actually helping to send the world into chaous. He doesn't understand the true potential power which is why he himslef can not decipher the codes. He needs one of the worlds best experts to help him. And he knows if he doesn't get the hlep he wants he can kill all of Robert's friends who he has taken captive. I really bleieve this man is the reason that evil in the world exists.

6. I believe that this madman is going to turn out to be Peters son. Peter is Roberts friend that he is trying to save by helping to decipher the mysteries. Peters family is very wealthy. Long ago Peter left his son in jail to teach him a lesson. And everyone thinks he was killed but i believe this was not him and he escaped with the money passed down to him. I think he will want revenge and what better way then to wreck the world with the information his dad, the leader of the masons, has given up his life to protect. This serries of secrets has unimaginable power and i bleive it will be let losse.

1. Right now in my book Hugo, the main charecter, has just discovered a mysterious object that his father started to built before he died. Hugo is now figuring out how to fix the object and get it working again. Once he got it working the object is supposed to write something which hugo thinks will be some kind of letter from his father.

2. So far, i like this book a lot. It goes into immense detail and gives me a great picture of whats going on. It also has parts lead up to next chapters very well. After i am done reading every night i do not want to put the book down.

3. The main theme that i have realized in the book so far is determination. Hugo is determined to fix the object and find out what he thinks his father is trying to tell him. He also is an orphan so he is determined to find enough food and make emough money to survive.

4. My favorite charecter is Hugo. He is my favorite for many reasons. The main reason is because that he is so determined and focused to fix the object. Also because he is able to live on his own with only one friend and only a small living space. I will not talk about his friend because that would give some of the story away.

5. My least favorite charecter so far is the old man. He works at a toy booth near where Hugo lives. He isnt the kind of person you would imagine working at a toy booth because he is mean and grumpy. That is the reason i dont like as well as he accused Hugo of stealing although it was not him.

6. I have many predictions for whats going to happen next. I will say the one i feel is most likely to happen. I think that Hugo is going to fix the object his father left when he died. Once he fixes it i think the message the object writes is going to anwser a lot og the questions Hugo has about his life and dad.

End 274

1. I have finished my book. The ending was ok not as good as the others in the serires. The end of the book had all the girls really sad because they are all leaving for college. They had just finished there last week of school so it was a very sad time but also a happy time because they were done with high school and they were all going to there dream colleges. Also the ending was very surprising because the mean girl in the story ended up on the bottom. Zoe one of the main characters stuck up for her friend Angela and figured out some dirty stuff on the mean girl Jana in there grade.

2. All in all I like the book a lot. It wasn't as good as the previous two in the series but very close. I can't wait to read some more of Lauren Myracle's books. Also I think that the book dragged on a little at the end becuase they kept talking about the same stuff.

3.The overall theme in this book was friendship and friendship troubles. There friendship in the very beginnning was very strong and everything was going really well but as the book went on there friendship decreased. I think that also because they knew they were going to part for college soon that they weren't giving it there all to make there long distance friendship work.

4. My favorite character in the end was Zoe. I only really liked her in the end because she finally got the guts to stick up for her friends. In the beginning her friends were getting really mad at her because the only person she wanted to be with was her boyfriend. Also she was a overall good kid so she wouldn't dare to do anything bad to someone which is what she needed to do to get her friends respect back.

5. My least favorite chracter in the end was Angela. I didn't like Angela throughout this book because she was drama queen all the time. She would always cry because her freinds wouldn't talk to her and tell her things. Also she would always be breaking down because she knew high school was coming to an end and that her and her friends would be splitting up.

6. The book did not turn out the way I had thought because the mean girl got shut down. I thought that the mean girl, Jana, was going to get revenge at the last moment to make there senior year the least happiest time. All in all though the nice girls ended out on top!

1.Miro has been left with permanent brain damage. Jane starts to like Miro and wants to be friends with him, Ender introduces them even though he is jealous because Ender likes Jane, but he is happy that Jane has a new friend. Ender reveals Olhado that he is Ender the Xenocide and surprisingly nobody on planet Lusitania doesn’t like him and that they look at the present Ender not the past Ender.
2.I thought that Speaker For the Dead was a good book, I really liked it. However I think I am going to take a break from the Ender series because I didn’t like this book as much as the first and I want to read something other than science fiction right now. Otherwise I thought it wasn’t hard to read and I didn’t have a hard time reading it.
3.A theme I have noticed in the book is redemption. I say this because in the previous book Ender was not kindly looked upon by many different civilizations. Now he has redeemed himself by becoming a nicer and kind person who realizes the pain and struggle of different civilizations so they like him now. Also his family still likes him even though he went to the space ship by his own choice at age 6.
4.My favorite character in both books had to be Ender because he almost re-calibrates himself when needed. If he finds something he is doing wrong he will fix it and make sure he never does it again. Also his views of other colonies change throughout the book and he doesn’t hold grudges of them even though they have done bad things in the past.
5.My least favorite character is probably Jane because I thought that thought the book she didn’t really give Ender a chance even though he really liked her and now it looks like she likes Miro better and I feel bad for Ender because of what Jane does.
6.Well in this book nothing can happen next but in the future books I predict that they will be more focusing on Miro’s journey to find Valentine and the rest of Ender’s family and bringing them back to Ender. The other books will be pretty interesting if they focus on that.

1. Right now in my book Bella got married with Edward and they went to an island called Isle Esme for their honeymoon. Then Bella got pregnant so they left the island to go back home. For the next part of the book it is about how Bella is in a lot of pain because they baby she is having is a vampire, but she is still human so it is breaking her ribs, spine, and Jacob is helping protect her. Then the baby is starting to die inside of her and Edward and all the vampires work to get it out. When they get the baby out of Bella, she is almost dead so Edward turns her into a vampire. Then Bella wakes up and she names her baby Renesmee.

2. So far I am enjoying this book because it is keeping my attention. There is always something going on, and a lot of action. Also they have different sections of the book. The first section Bella narrated it, but then in the second section Jacob narrated it which I thought was really interesting because you could see all of his thoughts which you usually don’t get to see. Now I am on the third section and Bella is narrating it again.

3. The theme I see is romance because the whole book is about how Bella and Edward are in love. In the previous books they were in love too, but now they are married so they love each other even more. Also Bella is a vampire now so they will probably share more things in common and be able to be together all the time.

4. Alice is my favorite character in this book because she is the nicest out of all the vampires and I think she has helped Bella out the most in this book then the other characters. Also she has a special power which is to see things in the future which I think is really cool and my favorite power out of all the vampires.

5. Jacob is my least favorite character because he is still jealous of Bella because he wants to be with her instead of Edward. Also Bella and Jacob get into fights a lot and it is a little annoying. I think that Jacob and I have the least in common out of all the characters so it is hard to relate to him.

6. My prediction is that Bella is going to go hunting and do all of the activities that vampires do. Also I think that it is going to be hard for Bella to get used to being a vampire and she might start missing being human. Also she might hurt some of her family members or friends because she is now a vampire.

1. Right now Agent Six has just gotten back from his latest mission and has just realized that the Lab, an organization of scientists that created him, are still at large. Naturally, having been on the run from them for years, Six is feeling rather afraid and doesn't know what to do.
2. So far this book has definitely piqued my interest with its fascinating plot. Although I don't read science fiction much, I am enjoying this. The plot is great, and filled with action and plot twists.
3. A theme I've repeatedly noticed is definitely superiority. Agent Six feels slightly superior than most agents, and the enemies he faces all definitely have some serious ego problems. Everyone is determined to be better than everyone else and they are willing to do anything to be the best.
4. My favorite character right now would be Agent Six. At sixteen he is the youngest and best agent the Deck has. He always manages to keep a cool head and find a way to beat the enemies without killing anyone.
5. My least favorite character is Queen, another agent for the Deck. Although she doesn't show up too much, the author does a very good job of making her rather scary.
6. I think that next Agent Six will probably try to figure out a way to outwit the Lab and stay alive, but I think that along the way he will probably have no choice but to kill someone. I just hope he will stay the same character that he is now.

1. Right now, in the book, the characters are fighting off enemy troops trying to defend a bridge. These soldiers who are attacking are the British; the soldiers that are defending are the French. The French are riflemen in the French army. They are following orders while retreating to a safer spot.
2. I feel that this book is going to be very fun and interesting. I think that it is going to be interesting because of the fact that the soldiers are not always agreeing with each other and are at times saying things under their breath to the others. I think this will prove to be an interesting topic to read about because while they are supposed to be fighting for the same cause, they secretly hate each other. Also, I think the theme of warfare is a good theme to start with.
3. The most dominant theme so far in the book is friendship. I say this because already I am seeing as a reader where the trust lies in the troops. This is shown by how they respect the commanding officer and there quartermaster (the two that dislike each other). Also, it is shown by how they talk with each other when discussing things like whether they should fight or go home.
4. My favorite character so far is the quartermaster because he is saying to go against the grain kind of. Even though the army is based on strict discipline, he still at times disobeys orders or gives his own to the men even though he is only a quartermaster.
5. At this time in the book, there are no characters that I dislike because none of the characters have been described in detail besides the quartermaster.
6. I think that one of the men is going to get wounded and they will have to safe him. They will have to go on a journey for food and fight off more of the enemy.

BODY:

1. Right now, since I just started this book, a girl has been running through this forest, and in the middle of her running, she forgets everything about her. Her family, where she lives, why she's running, and she even forgets her name. She soon gets almost ran over by a bunch of rabid dogs, and some villagers ended up finding her. Even after a lot of sleep, resting, and food she has remembered nothing. A villager named Ravyn has suggested that the old witch casted a spell on her to forget everything she knew. The old witch was known for taken children of all ages. She thought about it and soon was scared because that same day, the old witch left her house and no one found her. One day, a woman yelled "Isabelle!" and came to hug her. She soon found out that was her mother.
2. So far, I think the book has been an interesting read. I've never read a book about real witches kidnapping children of all ages, and casts spells on them, if that's the case. I especially liked the beginning. It starts off with Isabelle running through a random forest until she forgets everything. Ever since that part, the whole book has captured my attention.
3. Currently and through out the whole book, the most dominant theme is mystery. Everything going on in this book has been fishy. Isabelle just randomly forgets her name, and who her parents are, the same day the old witch left her house? There must be a connection between the witch and Isabelle.
4. Right now my favorite character is Ravyn. The reason I like Ravyn the best is because I can relate to her. She is outgoing and likes to ask a lot of questions. Also, when Isabelle was a little sad, Ravyn cheered her up to make her happy.
5. Currently, my least favorite character is Orsen. Orsen is Ravyn's friend. The reason I don't like Orsen is because he keeps making fun of Isabelle saying, "Maybe the witch turned you from an animal to a person. And you can't be a princess, princess' are pretty, and your.....not" He has been annoying me throughout this whole book.
6. I think that next, Isabelle and Ravyn's dad will go hunting for the witch, and try to reset her memory, so she remembers everything that had happened to her.

1.)I am not very far into my book, but right now in my book, the main character Massie who lives in a "rich" family. Massie's dad invites his high school friend's family to have dinner at their house. Massie had plans that she had planned for many weeks, but since her dad's friend's family the Lyons family are coming over, and there is a girl Massie's age names Claire, she has to stay home, and ditch her plans. Massie gets very mad, and she just cant wait till they leave. Later on, she finds out that since the family is new to the town, and can't afford a house right now, they spend a lot of time together, and she thinks that the Lyons are using her family, just for their money.
2.) So far into the book, I am enjoying this book. I like it, because this book is about a girl my age, so he does some of the same things we do, so it feels like its a normal life.
3.)The theme so far into this book is friendship. I have noticed a lot of friendship, between the Lyons(family friends) and Massie’s family. Also, Massie meets a new boy in the woods that she likes, and they become friends. Claire Lyon tries to be nice towards Massie, so she can meet some of Massie's friends, and become friends with them, and get some of the stuff Massie has in her room.
4.)My favorite character is Massie. I like Massie, because if I had to miss my plans that I have been planning for a long time, I would be very mad. Also, when the Lyons came over, she acted nice to the family, not like she wanted them to leave, even though she did.
5.)My least favorite character is Claire Lyon. I don’t really like Claire, because even though she is new to the town, she is really mean to Massie, and she tries to use Massie. Since Claire's family isn’t very rich, Claire gets jealous of Massie, so she tries to get her stuff.
6.)Next in this book, I think that Massie will eventually become either really good friends with the Lyons. Massie will start off her new school year with Claire, and since they are going to see each other everyday at school, I think that they are going to become good friends.

The Hunt for Red October

469 (End)
1. The ending was probably the best part of the book. There were three ships that had been to Washington D.C. to get instructions from the US Government before going to a US Navy base in Norfolk, VA. Two of the ships were US Naval, and one was a Soviet, the Red October. The US Naval ships were called the Pogy and the Dallas. Their strategy was to stay in a tight formation going to Norfolk, but they were intercepted by a Russian ship, the Konovalov. The Red October was originally a ship with loyalties to Russia, but when it was about to sink before, the main character, Jack Ryan, and other US citizens helped it by getting it up and stopped it from sinking. For doing this, the captain, Ramius, decided to go with the US. The Konovalov chased the ships for a while, but eventually was hit by the Red October and sunk.
2. I actually didn't like this book a lot. There were way too many specific terms referring to submarines, and that really didn't interest me. I found it a little confusing listening to all this almost code-language that sailors used. I originally thought I'd like the book because it had to do with military, but I ended up not liking it very much. The end was good, however, but the rest of the novel seemed to go by very slowly and I found it confusing because it flipped between multiple perspectives. It was okay, but I probably wouldn't read it again.
3. A theme I noticed in the book so far was loyalty, and how it can change. Each of the ships and their crew was loyal to a specific country, and usually they were very patriotic, because they chose to serve their country in the military. There was a combination of British, Russian, and American ships involved, and they each had different characters who were very loyal to their country. I saw loyalty change when Ramius's ship chose to side with the Americans towards the end. He was so surprised how the US Naval officers were treated, and he wondered why his government (Russian) couldn't do that as well. It's interesting to see how Russians were so surprised by the way we lived, and how the Americans knew he'd be surprised. He thought at the end that he'd probably end up living in the US. They mentioned things like everyone owning a car, and so many grocery stores, and how each person made about $20,000 a year (1960s or 1970s I think). He was surprised by this, and you could see in his character that his loyalty turned somewhat because he realized that his country was not as well set-up.
4. My favorite character ended up being Ramius. You really didn't get that much background of him except at the very beginning, so it was hard to judge what type of family he came from. I like his personality; he had great leadership skills and could command officers that were unfamiliar with his tactics (Americans). He was a captain of the Red October for the Russian navy. He was a smart person, but he did not end up getting such a good education because of the way the Soviet government was set up when he was a kid. You could tell that he wanted to get a good education, and he thought he could do that if he lived in America, maybe by going to a college.
5. My least favorite character was the Russian Ambassador in the US. He was not mentioned a lot, but his personality was not agreeable, and when he gave arguments (one specifically to the President) he really didn't present them well, and he seemed intimidated by those with higher authority than him. He seemed to become smaller and not stand up to his superiors, which I didn't like about him.
6. The book really didn't end the way I originally thought it would be, I thought the Red October would confront an American ship, my original thought was the Dallas, and they would have a battle, and the Red October would lose, but they ended up on the same side, and the Red October ended up destroying one of its "own" ships, but it was on the other side. It was a good ending.

1. Right now in my book we have found out about a forth dragon that exists, and Eragon is fighting him. It is a small red dragon and he just appeared out of nowhere. Even bigger than that though, is that there is currently a giant battle going on between The Varden and Surda against the Empire. Eragon is helping the fight which is greatly needed because the Empire is more trained, and greatly outnumbers them.
2. Right now I like the book because there is a lot of fighting going on and it isn’t moving too slow. Almost the entire book has been leading up to this fight, and now I’m really excited to be reading it because it is what I’ve been waiting for. It is also written very well, so it doesn’t disappoint me. However I am concerned that the battle might go on into the next book, because the pages are running out.
3. A theme I see in my book right now is practice makes perfect. I see it when Eragon is fighting because if this battle came before his training with Oromis then he would not be killing so many people and making such a big impact. He might even get himself killed, however that’s not what you see. Every move and maneuver he used was all taught to him, and they definitely helped him in order to do so much and probably change the outcome of the battle.
4. My favorite character right now is the red dragon. This is because, although I don’t know his name, he is small, swift, agile, and strong. He is just an awesome dragon to me because right now he is shrouded in mystery and just a fun character to read about. I have a feeling though that once I find out who it is, my opinion will change.

5. My least favorite character right now is the dwarf Orik. He was traveling with Eragon for awhile, but recently he has become much more of a downer and although he is a good fighter, he doesn’t think about what the better choice might be, he just goes with whatever one that works come to mind first. I personally like to read a little more about strategy going on in people’s heads, but I understand why he is in the book. That’s because some people like these willful characters.

6. Up next I think that the Varden and Surda will win the battle and that Eragon will lose to this new rider, but something will keep Eragon alive. However, I know that Christopher Paolini wouldn’t end his book like that, so there’s going to be some weird twist, but that twist could come from anything, so it is impossible to tell what it is so that will be exiting to read.

1. Right now in my book, Bobby and the other Travelers have just won the battle for Halla. They defeated Saint Dane, oddly enough, because his own supporters turned against him, and drained all his spirit. After they beat him, each one of the Travelers had to return back to Solara, where they are from. But Bobby somehow stays behind, they do not say why in the book, and somehow forgets about all his adventures as a Traveler. He ends up marrying his best friend Courtney. He becomes a writer, but sadly, his other best friend, Mark dies of a heart attack at age 40. The story, and the series, ends with a stranger coming in to Bobby’s hospital ward, he is now quite old, and gives him the first journal of his Traveler days, and tells him to read it.
2. I thought that this was an amazing ending to the series. Good triumphs over evil. I finally found out who wins and how after almost three years. I felt so relieved when I finished this book. It was like the burden of doubt, being lifted right off your shoulders. I also liked how MacHale ended the book when a strange man comes in and gives Bobby his old journals to read. Although it does not say, I believe this person to be the spirit of Mark, who has been given a physical shape, just to come tell Bobby that he needs to learn about his past. The mystery at the end of the book is neat too because even though the series is over, there are still questions unanswered.
3. Even though I have used this before, I just feel that friendship is extremely strong at the end. First off, Mark and Bobby act like brothers at the end of the book, in the final battle. When Uncle Press is talking to Bobby after all the other travelers return to Solara, They are acting just like father and son, or uncle and nephew. It is really friendship that keeps Bobby on the right track of mind. It is what reminds him of what life was like before being a Traveler, which is something that comforts him. And then of course, Bobby and Courtney being married also shows friendship. At it is obvious to tell that Courtney and Bobby had a very nice life, which is what Bobby wanted all along.
4. My favorite character would have to be Mark. He is Bobby’s ultimate best friend. Bobby was so glad to see him. It made the mood of the story a lot more cheerful. He was also the one who was almost led the attack against Saint Dane. I like how he has become a lot more assertive, but still has many traits that are similar to his old self.
5. My least favorite character would have to be Aja Killian. She is always acting pessimistic towards almost everything. She likes to make fun of Bobby a lot. She is not the person I would want to hang out with, so I do not really like her. She has been bugging me throughout the story with her antics. She is always just all around annoying.
6. It is hard to give a prediction since I finished the series, but I will try to give a prediction about what Bobby will do on Solara. He will probably guide people in their dreams, like all the spirits in Solara do. But I think he will be the best one. He will make a lot of important people make the right decision. He will continue on forever and the world should never enter this turmoil again.

1) Right now in my book the main character Jason is getting questioned about a murder but he is innocent, but he is getting bullied by a kid in school so after getting bullied so much Jason punches Bobo (the bully) after this, it makes everyone think Jason was the person who killed her. They think they have all the evidence since he saw her last before she got murdered. He is now with Trent who is trying to get him to confess.

2) I like this book a lot because it has a lot of suspense in which, it includes surprises and since it is a murder novel you are always thinking about who committed the crime.

3) I think the theme of this book would be innocence because I see this a lot because Jason is always trying to prove he's innocent but cannot quite remember what happened the day she died.

4) My favorite character would have to be Jason just because he seems like a good kid and that I couldn't see him doing anything like a murder, he is getting filled with surprises each chapter and is exciting to read about.

5) My least favorite character would be Bobo because he is a bully and he seems like a tough bad guy in whom he is very sexual and is bossing people around a lot, I just think he is such a jerk and I can’t stand to read about him.

6) I think that in the end they will go in to deep investigation and finally find the murderer and talk about how this happened.

1) Right now the main character, Arthur Dent is falling in love with this girl Fenchurch. He somehow made it back to Earth. Meanwhile, his friend Ford Prefect is in some foreign city on a planet where the police are getting into war with other civilians and planets. Marvin is currently hooked up to the main computer of the planet Krikkit, whose national game is Cricket. He is controlling all the war robots of the planet, making them all depressed.
2) I feel that this book is one of the best I have ever read. I feel this way because of the humor Douglas Adams includes in his books. He knows how to make a book so puzzling that when you figure out what he’s saying, you gain a ton of self confidence.
3) The theme I’ve noticed in this book is friendship. I think this because Arthur needs a friend after he gets separated from Ford. He and Ford are still friends, but separated, so something’s missing from each of them.
4)My favorite character is still Marvin the robot. I like him because he makes me laugh. He is a very depressed robot whose been left on an abandoned planet for millions of years, stayed on an abandoned spaceship as the crew left and crashed into a sun. He always has something funny to say and currently stuck on Krikkit, transferring all his thoughts to the robots of the planet.
5) My least favorite character is Zaphod Beeblebox still. I don’t like how weird he is. He has two heads, and is always mean to Arthur and leaves Marvin to crash into a sun or leave him for millions of years on a planet.
6) I think that the answer to the ultimate question will be uncovered by Arthur later in the book.

1. Vladek Spiegelman has been continuing to tell his son, Art, about his life during the Holocaust in Auschwitz. He currently is telling him about the time all the jews were put on a train and left there for a week without food or water. He was one of the lucky ones to survive because he had a seat bu the window to reach for snow. Every couple of days the Nazi's would return and tell the just to clean up the filth and throw out the dead. In the end they were heading to Dachau.
2. I like this book because not only is the survival in Auschwitz interesting, but the author gives all the raw and real details without sugarcoating them. This makes Maus II a great book but also a sad one.
3. The dominant theme in this book right now is determination. I see this theme because even with all the stacks piled against them, the Jews still fought for life and kept the will to live. The will to survive.
4. My favorite character is Vladek because he alwasy has a trick up his sleeve to get out of rough situations. He is very sneaky and determined to get what he wants. He snuck into the womens side of Auschwitz and was not caught. He masters a variety if jobs to earn bread for the day and gains more than many other Jews gained.
5. My least favorite characters are definiteley the Nazi's. Not only are they for the obvious reason that they killed and tortured so many Jews, but also because the ones that did help eventually turned on the Jews and killed them. They could never be trusted and would do everything to you to make your life as awful as possible.
6. I predict that Vladek will end up in Dachau and either the Russians or the Americans will come and free the Jews.

1. I am really enjoying my book right now. Right now in my book the main character Steve Harmon is in court trying to get the jury to believe he is not guilty. It is a very difficult task but between his special bond between his attorney Mrs. O’Brian and his braveness at such a young age.

2. I love the book! I absolutely love it! It is exiting but also sad and disturbing. Walter Dean Myers is definitely my all time favorite writer.

3. The theme of the book is pretty disturbing and weird. It is in the prison were people are attacked for crying at night and stabbed for starring at someone the wrong way. I personally never want to go to prison because it sounds scary.

4. My favorite character is easily Steve because he is tuff and never cries like as baby. Plus he is only 2 years older then my.

5. My least favorite character is Bobo. He is nothing but trouble and a bad example for young little Steve.

6. the next thing that will happen is Steve will find out if he is innocent or guilty.

1) right now in the book Deenie (the main character) as gone to many modeling angecys. but each on says theres somthing wrong with her. so her mom pushes and pushes her to practice and be perfect so she can be a model even though its not what deenie wants to do. Deenie trys out for cheer leading but sadly doesnt make the cut.

2) I like this book alot because its somthing that every girl can pretty much relate to but in a differnt way. and it makes me think about my life. also i really like the pace of the book. its goes some one fast. so im never bored with the book.

3) the theme so far is trying to fit in even though your different. i think this is the theme because deeenie is much like other girls but she has to be extra careful of her self because she stuggels from a back problem called scoliosis. which cause her to wear a back brace. all deenie can thinks is what will people think? having to wear the brace i think deenie feels like he doesnt belong because of her problem.

4) my favorite character is Deenie. she is a typical girl whos stuggels to under stand why she is in the postion to either A. maker her mom happy or B. follow her dream. but there is a problem she has scoilios causing her not to be the best she can be. so she feels like she let her and her mom done. i like her because she is like most people now and i like how she can stand up for her self and do the right thing.

5)my least favorite character is her mom. because most parents tend to support there child in what ever they want to be. but deenies mom is forcing her to be what her moms wants her to be. which doesnt give deenie the room her to being her one human being and also doesnt let her make her own deciosn. which i dont likeabout the mom

6) i predict that deenie will one day stand up for her self and tell her mom to back off and let deenie be her self.

1. Right now the main character Jessie, is feeling very defeated after not being able to make it up the mountain Storm King. Freddy saved her life on Storm King because he held on to her until help arrived. She is feeling very bad because she ignored Freddy when he tried to talk to her, even after he saved her life. She thinks that that is the reason Freddy ran away.

2. I really like the book because it never gets boring. There is never a break in the action. Even after a climb or hike there is still a lot more drama unfolding back at base camp. I like how every single character has there own unique personality, so nothing gets boring.

3. The dominant theme right now is friendship in unusual places. It shows a lot because at the beginning Jessie thinks that all the other juvenile delinquents are a lot different then she is. She realizes that they are all not that different. For example at the beginning she thinks that Star is a nutcase but after she gets to know her she realizes that she can relate to her.

4. My favorite character is Freddy because he is very adventurous and very hard to understand. I like how as soon as you think you figured him out he completely changes. Nobody else in the group is as unique as Freddy.

5. My least favorite character is Troy because he seems very nice and caring but he doesn’t care about anybody but himself. Like up on Storm King he was too afraid to help Freddy save Jessie. Also, I don’t like that even though he doesn’t really care about Jessie, she still wants to be with him.

6. I think that Jessie will realize that Freddy is the one that really cares for her and that Troy doesn’t care. I also think that they will go on an adventure that will help Jessie realize this.

1. Claire and Massie have just realized that Cam and Derrick have not forgotten them and gone for Nina. Apparently Nina told them there was this Spanish good luck charm that famous soccer players also use. So being not very intelligent, the boys fell for it. This led them to believe they would not win the soccer championship unless they didn’t talk to their girlfriends/crushes until after the big game. Nina was kicked out of her cousins’ house for stealing her sisters, and many other people’s stuff. Luckily for the clique, she is on the plane back to Spain, with two very angry sisters awaiting her arrival.
2. I enjoyed this book because I thought I could relate well to the characters because they are the same age as me. I think this has been one of the best books I have read in the series before. I also think this book had more of a plot line than the previous three.
3. The dominant theme in this book is friendship. The clique seems to always be going through drama, both boy and friend, and this has split them apart many times. In this case, Kristen and Dylan were falling into Nina’s grasp, but once they realized the horrible girl she really was, they were welcomed back by their real friends.
4. My favorite character is Claire because she is really down to earth and nice. When Massie and other girls such as Nina are mean, Claire chooses not to go along with it and is not intimidated by them. Also, after finally being accepted into the clique, Claire didn’t just ditch her friends that sat with her when she was the dorky new girl.
5. My least favorite character is Nina because everything about her bugged me. First, she came in and tried to break apart their friendships, and steal their boyfriends. Then, she acted really meanly towards others, dressed in inappropriate clothing, and tried to take over Massie’s most popular spot. Finally, she was a thief.
6. Since I have just finished this book, I can’t predict what is going to happen next in this book, but in the fifth book the clique will go through more drama and friend trouble. All the books in this particular series are very similar, so that is why I think this will happen.

Realistic Fiction

pg. 275

1. I am very close to the end in my book. Recently, a lot of action has been taken place. Prosper and Bo recently commited a major theft with Hornet, Scipio, and Mosca. This was the first time they had actually stole something for a client. Before this they were used to pick pocketing tourists on the streets. The theft did not go as well as planned. The owner of the home, Ida Spavento, caught them in the act. She saw that they were only desperite children so she invited them in for a cup of tea. When they were there they digused what they were asked to steal.

2. I read this book once before about four years ago and I remember it being very good. I have almost all of it now and I still think it is very good. It is about kids around my age who are in Venice and have no homes so it is interesting how their lives are sso incredibly different from mine. I also like the theme.

3. The them in The Theif Lord is definatly cat and mouse. This means that there is a main character who is being chased or that the main character is chasing someone. In this books case Prosper and Bo are running away from their aunt and uncle who insst on finding them. They are nasty people who don't even like kids that much. Infact they only really want to find Bo because right now he is small and somewhat cute.

4. Although is has changed throughout the book my favorite character right now is Ida Spavento. She is a nice spireted older woman who is very nice. So nice that she took in the very children who intended oon robing her. She is single, although Victor Gitz the detective and her are getting their flert on, big time.

5. My least favorite character is definatly the mysterious Conte. This is an old man who payed the children a great sum of money to stealan object from Ida Spavento's home. When he finally payed them it was actually fake money. Then, the Conte disapeared to a so called haunted island off of venice.

6. What I thought at the beginning of the book might still happen. All of the children could be adopted by Ida Spavento and her and Victor getz could get married. This is a possibility but then again it is to much of a perfect ending.

1. Right now in my book the main character Jenna Fox just found out about how she caused the accident that left her 2 best friends (Kara and Locke) dead; and her illegal and 90% unreal. She also found this secret closet in her mothers room that holds the 3 backup systems for her memory, and Kara and Locke's memories as well even though they did not survive. Jenna just returned from a day sleeping in the underbrush of the woods to see her family sitting casually on the porch of their secret home as her and her family stay incognito in this little known town. In this little "family get together" Jenna ate a Mushroom and drank wine. Jenna shouldn't be eating normal food because she has no stomach and her body cannot digest it. Even though she does this her family does not intervene wondering whats going to happen.

2.Right now I am really interested in the book because there is so much going on because there are so many questions yet to be answered. Such as What is the tension between Mr. Bender and the big white house across the street? What else happened does she not know? Did anybody else die in the accident? Whats going to happen between her and Ethan? Why is she so scared of her and Ally's relationship? Why is did Ethan say not to tell ally? There are many more questions to be answered and I just really need to keep reading until they are all answered.

3. I have noticed the theme Family. I have noticed this because her family is so involved in everything she does mainly because she is illegal; and if anyone ever found out that would tell the authorities who knows what would happen. I notice this also because Jenna's father also comes up every now and then whenever something about the accident has come about.

4.My favorite character is Lily. I like Lily because she is Jenna's grandmother and she sounds like such a comfortable person to be around. I feel like Lily is a very trustworthy person because that is the person Jenna goes to for advice whenever she has to tell anybody anything. Jenna also remembers this from her life before. Planning what she was going to tell her grandmother on the train ride. Also, Lily is very defensive and seems like she is the person who you don't wanna mess with because she will take you down.

5. Allys is my least favorite character because she just has this weird feeling about her. The way I imagined Ethan saying, "Don't tell Allys" got me scared about her because she never told us about her past. She never pulled up and trusted herself with Jenna. I think she might be a cop or something snooping around the Jenna Fox case because she is supposed to be dead. I am just scared of her incase she does something to harm that family or she might live in the big white house that Mr. Bender is cautious about.

6. I think some drama between the cops is going to happen because that is always a constant threat that the book reminds you of throughout the story. I think that Mr. Bender is scared of that white house because there may be federal agents there who are there to spy on Mr. Bender then seek into the new girl in town, Jenna Fox.

1. Well since I’ve finished the book I will tell what most recently happened. Miles the protagonist has been having trouble with his football team lately. The season didn’t get out to a great start with the staring quarterback getting hurt on a dumb play. After that the head coach Sepolski had to leave the team because he got cancer. Lastly the second string quarterback got hurt during a game. I feel bad because with coach Stahl taking Sepolski’s spot Miles lost his starting position. Finally the girl he really likes he’s trying to decide if he should ask her to the dance after he got shut down earlier in the book.
2. Personally this is one of my favorite books of all time. I like it so much because I’m really into sports. I think that the protagonist Miles has to make a lot of troubling decisions whether to side with his parents or go with his friends in all of this. In specific spots the author relates to an issue but doesn’t go into it as much as I want it to. Overall I really like this book because it can to relate to a lot of people who are dealing with peer pressure and I think Miles is a good example to follow if you’re in this predicament.
3. The main theme I’ve seen throughout is either troubling choices or troubled relationships. First I think that the troubling decisions come when he’s with his friends. Some of his friends are taking steroids. This is an example of peer pressure. He feels that if he does it he will fit in with all he friends but at the same time he will betray his parents who he made a promise to stay off drugs for the football year. Secondly troubled relationships mainly come up between his dad and his father. It seems like everything that Miles does isn’t good enough for his dad. I really don’t think that’s a good example the dad is setting for the rest of the family. His dad treats him supposedly as the way his dad’s dad treated him.
4. My favorite character would definitely be Miles. I feel with all the pressure he has on him to be the way he is I think it’s amazing. I feel that no matter what his dad says he will always try his hardest and never let himself down. I really want it to turn out for him well in the end of the book.
5. My least favorite character in this book would probably be the dad. For a kid growing up you always want to have support from your parents. I feel that even though his dad got treated poorly as a child he has no right to take it out on Miles. Although Miles isn’t the most popular kid in school he still needs support from the household. I think that not appreciating anything well that your son does in despicable. That’s why the dad is my least favorite
6. Since I’ve finished the book I think I’ll end with a cliffhanger. This is a book where Miles has to make choices. Choices that can affect his life dramatically. When these choices start hitting home he has to make a choice to be strong using steroids betraying his parents, or be straight-edge and not let his family down.

1.In my book Wexford had set-up a fund to pay for a stain-glass window in the chapel. The window’s purpose was to honor students from Devon who had served and fallen in World War II. When Wexford went to Pete to ask him if this was a possibility, Pete was a little skeptical, knowing that Wexford was a trouble-maker and very defiant. When they finished installing the window, Pete went over to see how it had come out. He felt that it was a lie and there was too much nobility in it, knowing how grotesque wars are, serving in the war himself. Then he realized that people who had never been in a war were not willing to go through it even in their imagination.
2.I like this book so far, but not as much as A Separate Peace. Peace Breaks out is more about an adult, were A Separate Peace is more about a teenager, so he’s easier to relate to. Also some parts of the book can get a little bit dry when it’s more about Pete rather than his interactions with his students and his students personal life.
3.A theme that I have notice so far is change. When Pete goes back to Devon after the fighting in the war the whole school seems entirely different because the war has changed him on the inside. Also the seniors at Devon are the first class in a long time to not get drafted after high school, and they have to go to college which is a change for them.
4.My favorite character is Wexford because he had a way of always looking on the bright side and making jokes for anything. Also he is brilliant so he has smart remarks to respond to people who don’t know what they’re talking about.
5.My least favorite character is Eric Hochschwender because he puts downers on every situation. Also he never complies with anyone because he thinks he’s too good for anyone. Whenever anyone asks him a question or tries to talk to him he either blames them for being racist or saying that they don’t really think he’s important.
6.My prediction is that Hochschwender will smash the stain-glass window in the chapel and somehow frame Wexford. Hochschwender and Wexford pretty much hate each other, so that’s something he would do to get back at Wexford.

1. In my book, the main character just rescued Megan from the shuttle that Dylan had her kept in so she would die and he could successfully smuggle the smallpox in. However, it was not easy. This is because the organization's inside man, Dr. Bauer, somehow found out that the government was on to him and betrayed Dylan and tried to get away with the virus. Thankfully, Jon Smith was able to stop him before he could do so by blowing up the space shuttle he was in.
2. This book was very exiting and had many plot twists and turns. I really liked how it kept you on the edge of your seat at all times, and had almost no slow parts.
3. I think the overall theme of this book was thinking ahead. The organization was always trying to tell the government's next move, and vise versa. This way they would be able to counteracts the move and either stop the smallpox or put it into effect.
4.My favorite character is still Jon Smith because he is very good at thinking on his feet can always point out the vaguest clues to keep the trail from going cold. Also, he goes with what he believes in, even though everyone else may think it is crazy. He is usually right.
5. My least favorite character is Dr. Bauer. This is because he betrays anyone on his side who he thinks is dispensable. He was glad when two of his allies dies because he would not have to share the pay, and killed Dylan so there wouldn't be as many witnesses.
6. My prediction of this book was wrong. I thought that the organization would successfully acquire the virus and hold the world for hostage, but Covert- one would stop them. They never got this chance, however, because they were stopped before they could even do so.

1. Right now, the main character Charlie,(female)is stressed out. She is 44 and an investigative reporter. She is doing a story on counterfeit bags. She doesn't know if her boyfriend Josh just proposed to her, or asked her to move in with him and his daughter. Charlie and Josh just got in a fight because someone called her at home and basically threatened her, but she wouldn't call the police because she's a reporter and it may ruin the case.
2. I am not really liking the book too much right now because I feel that the topic on counterfeit bags is kind of cheesy girly. I wish it was about something like money. I also don't like the style that the author writes in. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a story that is about her or if it is only partially about her. Another thing I don't like is the main character. She just seems a little desperate.
3. A dominant theme in the book is crime. The story revolves around counterfeit bags so there is obviously some crime going on. Also, the call that she got was very suspicious and odd so that is crime related too.
4. My favorite character is Franklin, Charlie's gay sidekick reporter. He seems into his job without being overly obsessed about it. He also is nice and considerate when Charlie has a bad day. I think that Franklin is just an overall very balanced man.
5. My least favorite character is Penny, Josh's 9 year old daughter protective of Josh and doesn't let Charlie and Josh spend a lot of time alone with each other when she is there. She is really annoying and doesn't like Charlie that much.
6. I predict that the man on the phone was someone who was running a counterfeit bag shop/party because he said some things that would make you think that. I also think that Charlie and Josh are going to make up because it is too soon in the book for his character to go away. 1. Right now, the main character Liam is discovered by his father having sex on his fathers desk in his study. This isn't shown, but apparently he brought a girl home from a party where he got really drunk and although he was drunk he started to realize that this girl didn't really like him at all but let her undress him anyways. As a result of being found in his father's study he is sent by his unloving model mother who married his father for money and his rich ,billionaire ,CEO father to go live with his homosexual, cross-dressing, Glam-rocker uncle Pete and soon tries to impress his father at his new school by being a nerd and getting good grades( as opposed to getting horrible grades and being Mr. Popularity at his old school). Somehow, in a humorous chain of events he still manages to be the most popular kid in his school and gets terrible grades.

2. This book is great because it is hilarious how he ends up on his father's desk and how his Uncle Pete and his boyfriend crashed his Grandpa's birthday party. The Grandfather and Father were livid at Uncle Pete.

3. A Theme in the book is Being Responsible for your own Actions. I notice this theme in the part where Liam becomes determined to make things right between him and his Dad and that inspired me when I mess up next time to be responsible for my own actions.

4. My favorite character is Uncle Pete because he is very nice and likeable and his bouts of flamboyancy are the cause of most of the humor in the book.

5. My least favorite character is the Mom, Sarah because she seems like a slightly shallow person although fun-loving. It always feels like her personality is fake and she shows it when she not only doesn't defend Liam when he is kicked out, she orders him out the door.

1. Right now in my book Enna is being held as a Bayern prisoner. Enna has the ability to make fire so she has been going around to the enemy Tiran camps and burning things. Tira and Bayern are in the middle of a war, so Enna thinks burning things will help Bayern win the war. But the fire has been taking over Enna and all of her friends think she is changing. The fire within her provokes her and tries to make her burn everything. She almost loses control and burns her best friends Isi. She then goes intro one of the Tiran camps alone and unarmed and gets caught burning things. She then gets taken prisoner, and a series of action comes next.

I am enjoying this book so far but I have to say that I liked Goose Girl better. I really liked the main character Isi and I liked it when she was the narrator. In Enna Burning, Enna ( Isi’s best friend) is the narrator and I don’t like her as much. I miss seeing Isi because I liked her so much, and Enna sort of bores me. The outline of the story also isn't as intriguing at Goose Girl was. But I still am enjoying this book as I read and I still love the Books Of Bayern series.

A theme that I have noticed in the book so far is control. Enna has the ability to make fire, so she feels how everything around her has heat. Everywhere she goes she feels the pulsing, inviting heat and she is very tempted to make fire. She uses great amounts of control to stop herself from making fire and hurting someone or something unexpectedly. When she produces fire she also has to control herself and stop before something dangerous happens.

My favorite character is still probably Isi. I just really like her character and the way she acts. She is a very nice princess, and tries to make everything right for the people of Bayern. I also like her true love’s prince Geric. Geric’s father and brother died tragically in the beginning of the War against Tira, and he quickly becomes king. Being king is huge responsibility and Geric wasn’t expecting to become king for a very long time. He had to be strong and grow up to help his people in the time of a horrible war. In the mix of all this stress and sadness Geric still finds time to care for his love Isi, and Bayern.

I don’t really have a least favorite character right now. But I know that Finn ( He helped Isi in the forest and then became friends with Enna) has annoyed me in the book. I liked him a lot in Goose Girl, but in this book he is frustrating. In the beginning of the book, he overheard Enna saying she couldn’t be with Finn because their just friends. So he gets all upset and ignores or barely talks to Enna. I can tell Enna and Finn have secret feelings for each other deep down, and I don’t know why they just don’t show it. I know Finn likes Enna so I don’t know why he won’t just act like his old, sweet Finn and maybe ask Enna out.

6. I predict that in the end of the book Bayern will defeat Tira. I mean if they didn’t there probably wouldn’t be any more books in the series and I know that there are. It’s very likely that lots of action will happen along the way, but I’m pretty sure Bayern will defeat the cruel kingdom of Tira. I also think that Enna and Finn will become a couple because I know they have feelings for each other deep in their hearts. I can tell by the way the way the other describes their thoughts and actions about each other. I also predict that Enna will get rid of her ability to make fire, because i feel like it’s a bad thing and she knows it. The power of fire changes Enna and it could become dangerous and kill her. So she will probably try to get rid of the power if she can.

1. Right now the warden just put Andy into solitary confinement. He did so because Andy called him obtuse. When Andy was in solitary confinement he would have to dig a hole from sun up to sun down and try to make it as wide and deep as possible. After, you would head down and the hole would be barred up. Then you would have a bucket where you would be lowered water and you would pee in the same bucket. Bread would be dropped down once to twice a week. Most people didn't spend most time in "the hole" except for the so called "Durham boy" who supposedly spent 7 years down there.

2. I love this book because the book is mainly about Andy but it is narrated by his best friend. A lot of books are just narrated by either the author our the main character but this is different which is why I like it. Also, it has a very thickening plot line.

3. I think the main theme in this book I think is prison and how your guilty but you say your innocent or how your innocent but nobody believes you. Also, I think it ties into how the prison walls turn into a security and how after being in there for
so long it becomes less of a prison and more like a home.

4. My favorite character is Andy because of how smart and nice he is. He also mentions how he was suicidal for a long period of time and I like the warden also question that because throughout the book you are depicting more of his characteristics and I personally think he is not the suicidal type.

5. My least favorite character is the warden because he thinks he is smarter than he is and when Andy called him out on something he put him into solitary confinement which in Shawshank seems like the worst thing in the world to be in.

6. I think Andy will break out of prison but I already know that considering I saw the movie. But, I put into factor what I would have thought if i hadn't seen the movie and I felt that I would still think he would break out.

1. The fever has continued to go on and take more lives all over the place.
2. I feel this book is very well written and makes you feel almost as if you're in the story with the characters.
3.A theme i have noticed would be bravery, everyone has to be brave if a family member catches the fever and has to help them or a friend.
4. My favorite character is Matilda, who is also the main character. She is a very interesting person to read about and makes the story seem very realistic.
5. My least favorite character is her mother. I have nothing against her but she seems kind of annoying sometimes and naggy.
6. I think the fever may start to die off or perhaps doctors will find some sort of cure that will help other people before the fever catches more victims.

1. Right now in the book, the main character Harry Potter has just arrived at 12 Grimlaud Place. This particular address is the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, an organization that is devoted to fighting the evil wizard, Lord Voldemort. (Voldemort is the dark wizard who murdered Harry’s parents, and attempted to murder him as well as a child. The curse somehow backfired, leaving Voldemort barely alive, and Harry with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead.) Harry was brought to 12 Grimlaud place because he was attacked by dementors, and when he used magic to fight them off he was expelled from Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry he attends. He awaits a hearing, and is left wondering if he will ever see Hogwarts castle again.
2. I feel that the book is so far pretty good. I always have enjoyed the Harry Potter books, and Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix is no different. My only complaint is that it is moving very slowly, and hasn’t gone very far. The details, though they slow down the book, are still necessary for the plot later on in the book.
3. A theme I have noticed so far is trust. From the very beginning, Harry has to trust Dumbledore to tell him when it is safe to leave his aunt and uncle’s house. When he flies to Grimlaud Place, he has to trust the people who are protecting him. Also, Dudley has to trust him when he saves him from the dementors. Finally, Harry must trust the house elf, Kreacher, to not give away the secret of the Order of the Phoenix to Voldemort’s followers.
4. My favorite character is Sirius Black, Harry’s godfather. He is my favorite character because he is so kind to Harry. He is the one who insists on letting Harry on the details of the Order of the Phoenix’s meetings. Also, he also is joking about something. He is almost like a father to Harry, and he is one person he can always trust. He is also very reckless, which can liven up the book.
5. My least favorite character is Severus Snape. Snape is a professor at Hogwarts, and had a grudge against Harry’s father James, which he passes on to Harry. Snape is unfair to Harry, criticizing him and Remus Lupin, James’s old school friend. He also hates Sirius, and often says that Sirius is doing nothing, while he is risking his life.
6. I predict that Harry will stay in school, because even underage wizards are allowed to use magic in a life-threatening situation. He might have a warning, though.

1. Recently in my book the Cullens discover that the Volturi are coming for a visit. However, whenever the Volturi come it's never for a good reason and to worry them more, the whole clan is coming, including the wives who never leave the castle. Bella has gone to an attorney to try and protect Reneesme and to work out her future if they end up fighting the Volturi. They have gathered about eighteen other vampires to come as witnesses and potentially other fighters. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

2. I am thoroughly enjoying this book at the moment. It is very suspensful and attention grabbing. I never want to put it down. I've also noticed that the aithor does a great job of making you feel like you are really in the book and you actually know the characters so when things happen you get really into it. This makes it more fun and interesting to read.

3. The main theme right now is probably protecting those you love. I think this because the whole Cullen family is putting friends in danger just to protect Reneesme, who takes hold of everyone's heart she meets. Also, Alice demonstrates this when she leaves the family along with Jasper. Edward realizes that she probably did this to save the one person she can't live without, Jasper, because she knows that joining them against the Volturi would mean possibly losing him.

4. My favorite character right now would have to be Reneesme. She is a very amazing little girl. She has the power of showing people what she wants or what shes thinking of. Along with this talent she also finds a way to make everyone she's around love her and want to protect her more than anything. She really brightens the mood and the story throughout the book.

5. My least favorite character right now would have to be Jasper. Alice has abandoned her family for him, but she also is still attempting to help them from afar. Jasper has made no attempt to keep in touch or in the slightest bit even help the people who love him.

6. I predict that the Volturi and the Cullens, in the company of their "witnesses", will confront. At first I think that it will be a very unfriendly mood between the two groups. But, in the end I think that the Vilturi will realize that Reneesme is never to cause any trouble and everything will go back to normal in the world of the vampires.

1. What is going on in my book right now is the Pretty committee has split up into two new groups. The two groups are called Massie and Crew, and the soul m8’s. They all got into a big fight, after the fight Massie was left friendless. So she had to hire friends, but of course they are models. Massie is the only person who would choose models. To become popular she is creating a fundraiser. She is not only doing the fundraiser to become more popular, but to keep her mind off of the whole friend issue. Right now the fundraiser, fashion show is about an hour away and everything possible is going wrong, until the boys show up.
2. I do not like this book because there really is no book without the Pretty Committee. I know (trust me I know, experience) how friends can stop liking each other but there were too many friends that all have soooo many things in common. Also they are nothing without each other. They cannot just let their friendship go like that. In the book there seems to be a theme where they miss each other, and for me that is sad, because if they are still friends deep down they should re-unite.
3. Like I said before there is a big theme in this book is friendship. All of the girls still miss each other. But for some reason they will not re-unite. I noticed it the most when Alicia went to Massie and said I would like for you to join the soul m8’s, and Massie turned her down. I believe she did that because she wants to be the cool alpha.
4. In this book I do not have a favorite character. I don’t have a favorite character because they are all being witches. It is funny because it is almost Halloween!!! They are just being so nasty to each other. They are lying behind each other’s backs, gossiping, and just being strait out nasty. Claire and Kristin tried to be in both cliques but they are getting a hint to just pick one. I am tired of them not being together.
5. My least favorite character is Massie. She is my least favorite character because she lied about having more friends. She didn’t have any other friends so she had to hire friends that is so sad that all of her other friends ditched her. But what is even worse is that she tries to hide her sorrow. She tries everything but just keeps getting more and more stressed with friends and the fundraiser.
6. I think Claire will try to reunite the two cliques and will succeed. She will give a whole speech at the fundraiser, and Massie will start crying, and they will all get back and form the Pretty Committee New and Renovated. I know that it sounds like such an easy plan. It will to be because all of the soul m8’s will try to leave but they will not because the boys will stop them. Lastly it should be easy for Claire to re-unite them because they all miss each other so much.

1. Right now in my book the main character Alex is about to BASE jump onto the roof of a company that he is trying to break into. Alex is using his best friends older brother's parachute. If this was not dangerous enough he is in Naples, Italy and he has never been here before, he has also never BASE jumped. Alex has just told all his secrets about being a spy to his best friend Tom Herris.

2. I think this book is really good because it really makes you want to read more at the moment because Alex is about to BASE jump and he has never BASE jumped before.

3.The big theme in this book is friendship between Alex and Tom because Tom was the first person Alex has told all his secrets to about being a spy and what actually happened to his parents.

4. My favorite character is Tom because he is a really good friend to Alex and Alex's only real friend. For example he really wanted to know what was up with Alex but he did not make Alex tell him Alex just did.

5. My least favorite character is a man named Nile. I do not like Nile because he locked Alex in a basement and left him there to drown.

6. My prediction for what will happen next is Alex will successfully base jump onto thee building and break in.

1. Right now the main character Bean is helping Ender in the simulations/games that he is being forced to play at Command school. Also due to this Bean is getting very worn down and is losing his normal genius persona. That is what is going on rigth now in my book.
2. Right now I really like this book because of Bean having to constantly play these computer games with Ender at the controls. It is also very interesting because I feel as though there is something secretive going on at Command School.
3. The Dominant theme is teamwork. I see this theme becasue the charcters all have to work together to win the computer game. They also have to work together to keep there place in the Command School.
4. My favorite character is Bean. Bean is my favorite character becasue he is very smart and he does things that no one would ever think of including Ender. Bean is a character that every one feels sorry for because he is so small but then you don't when he uses his size to gain himself things or knowledge. Bean is a very tricky character.
5. My least favorite character is Alai because he seems to be a know it all. Also because he is just not as interesting as the other characters in the sense that you can always predict what he is going to say and do.
6. My prediction in my book is that Bean and the others will beat the game. When the beat the game I think they will go on to be Starship Captains against the buggers.

1. Right now in my book the main character, Percy Jackson, was just captured by the god of the underworld, Hades. Luckily, his son helped him escape, and took him to the river Styx. They believe that the only way they stand a chance against the titans and Kronos is if Percy is dipped in the river Styx, becoming almost invincible.
2. This book is an action- packed read with a lot of plot twists. I find this book interesting because I have not read many books like it.
3. The theme in this book so far would probably be underdog. This is because the gods do not have many people on their side and seem to be facing impending doom, and therefore are the underdogs. However, they still try to repel the threat and never give in.
4. My favorite character in this book is Percy. This is because he is very brave and not afraid to sacrifice himself for the greater good. Also, he can always find away out of any situation you throw at him and is very resourceful.
5. My least favorite character is Luke. The reason for this is that he was once on the gods' side, but betrayed them to help the titans and bring Kronos, the titan lord, back to life. Without him, this whole mess would not have started in the first place.
6. I think that someone is going to figure out how to expose Percy's weak spot, and he will regret being dipped into the river like Achilles said he would.

1. Right now, there isn't much to say about the book I am reading. I have met the main character whose name is Will. His last name is unknown because when he was a child both of his parents were killed and he was left at the door step of one of his dad's good friends. He if 15 years old and when you are 15 you are chosen to be an apprentice of some kind of job. Willwas looking to go into battle school but unfortunatly the trainer thought he was to small. All of the other trainers had no use for him. the only one that was interested in him was halt who was a ranger. from now on will was going to be a ranger's apprentice.

2. The book so far has been easy to read. I like to read books that have a somewhat easy time with. it is nice to be able to relax when you are reading a good book. So the answer would be yes, i am enjoying this book a good deal.

3. It is hard to takeaway a theme from this book so early in the story. Will has been curious and that was why the ranger picked him to be his apprentice. There is also mystery involved because of the lack of knowledge of halt and all the rangers in general. it is thought they they use magic to be invisible to the average person's eye.

4. My favorite character, of course, is Will. There really isn't anyone else to like at this point. The strongest reason that I enjoy reading about him and from his personality is that he has a very isolated and lonely life but he manages to get on just fine.

5. Horace would be my least favorite charcter in the book at ths point in time. he isn't necessaraly bad but he is annoying and he teases Will quite often. Horace is one of the five kids that will lives with. Will is smarter and smaller but Horace is biger an dumber.

6. My prediction of what will happen soon to come in this story is involving Will and Halt. I believe that Halt will be training Will and he will have to ge on a mission and he will ask for Will's help.
