1. Right now, after becoming friends with Junior, James and Kerry went on a drug delivery into a faraway town, where the got beat up by and guy, then he stole the drugs they were sent to deliver. After that, they went around the town to find the guy, and they found where he lived. They took back everything that the guy stole from them. Then they journeyed back home and found out that someone hired the guy to rob them.
2. So far, I really like the book, I'm pretty sure that I'm reading the rest of the series. From what I see right now, it's like there is action at every corner. I really like that it's not only an action but it's also about kids in the police force.
3. The theme in this part of the book is that you should be careful about everything that you do in places you are unfamiliar with. Just like James and Kerry ventured into the new town to deliver the drugs, and they were robbed.
4. My favorite character is still James because he is adventurous and daring. I like how he stays cool in all the situations that he is in.
5. My least favorite character is the person who robbed James and Kerry because he was really a jerk and he threatened James and Kerry with a gun, even though he was just payed.
6. I predict that James is going to get caught at something while trying to investigate the drug scene at Junior's dad's house.

1. Right now Annie is as crazy as ever. She left Paul for 3 days with his broken legs without his pain killers. He also soiled himself because the pain is too excruciating for him to get up and walk to a bathroom. She finally got back to the house and refused to give him the pain killers until he burned the copy of Fast Cars that he has been working on for 2 years. He kept refusing to do it and she kept making burning the manuscript sound better. She was saying how she'll only make him burn a couple pages, then she said how she'll change the seats on the bed, give him a bath, and make him something to eat. He eventually couldn't stand the pain any longer so he burned the first page, the last page, and several pages in the middle to signify the passion theat he had for burning the book.
2. I am feeling scared because you start to feel like you are Paul Sheldon trapped in this women's house who is slowly destroying your life and all that it stands for.
3. Right now I don't beleive that there is a theme that the other is trying to get accross. If there is one I'm guessing don't be a famous writer and drive through a snow storm.
4. Right now my favorite person is Paul because you can realize that insted of just going along with what's happening and somebody might come and save him, he's now slowly thinking " I'm going to kill this women."
5. My least favorite character now is Annie. She was my favorite character last week but she has become way to creepy and she is scaring the crud out of me.
6. I predict that Paul is going to make an attempt to kill Annie but fail. I think he might try to stab her or strangle her and she'll punch him in the leg and doing that continuously so he won't do it again.

1 Right now in my book the main charecter Lily is trying to teach her friend Albert to swim. Albert had to leave his country because of World War II. He traveld most of the way with his sister, but then she got sick ad ws not allowed onto the boat. Albert wants to know how to swim so that he can row out in a boat then swim to Europe to find his siter and to see if she is stil alive.
2 I think this is a good book because they do a good job of making it happy and sad. I like that some parts are happy and others are sad becasue if a book is completley sad I would not want to read it, but if nothing sad happens in a book about a girls life thenit is not good because it is completley impracticle.
3 The theme of the book is loyalty. I think the theme is loyalty because both Lily and Albert want to go to get a family of that is affected by the war and is over sea's.
4 My favorite charecter is Albert. I like Albert because he is very persistant. He is one of those people who knows what they want to do so they just go out and do it. I think that is good because he could possibly go to Europe and see his sister event that would be very ahred to do considering he does not know how to swim.
5 My least favorite charecter is Margreat because she is mean. I htink she is mean because while her brother is over seas fighting hte war Margreat is eating the candy her mom has been collecting to send to him.
6 My prediction of what is going to happen next in the book is that Lily is going to Albert that it is to dangerous for him to swim to his sister. Albert then will get mad and siwm and Lily will have to go help him.

End!
1. I have just finished this book and it had a little bit of a twist at the end. Andrea had to make the decision to go home or not, and she decided to go home. She also told Miranda some mean things, knowing that she would be fired immediatly. I thought that she would have stayed in Paris and then seen Lilly when she got home. Lilly recovered from the coma and is fine except that she has a few broken bones. Andrea and Lilly are living with Andrea's parents. Andrea sold $38,000 worth of Runway clothes so she is not hard up for money. She sent some written pieces to a few magzines and one magazine is publishing them and look into finding her a job at another magazine. They choose Runway, so she is back at Runway, just not working directly for Miranda.
2. I still like the book as much as I did last blog. I wish there was a sequil.
3. The theme is still perseverance because she is still persevering her writing carear. She still wants to keep following her dreams and being with her family and friends.
4. The only thing that my favorite character Emily has been up to is calling Andrea to find out what happened about her losing her job. She was still the same frantic Emily as always.
5. My least favorite character Alex is not with Andrea anymore, they had a talk and are not together anymore.
6. I was surprised that Andrea din't stay in Paris. I thought that they would go back to they're old appartment, not live with her parents. I also thought that she was going to get the job at the New Yorker but now she is at Runway again.
Hello Ms. Duryea and her English students!

Dairy Queen: A Novel

BODY:
1. A lot has happened in Dairy Queen since my last posting. D.J. tracked down the football coach to ask him if girls are even allowed to play. And he said yes. D.J. asks her two closest friends, Amber and Kari what they think about her playing football. Kari is completely for it, while Amber thinks D.J. is a jerk. D.J. is confused about this. Later that night, D.J. learns that Amber believed she was playing football due to Brian and wanting to be around boys. She also tells D.J. that she has feelings for her. D.J. cannot believe that she has been Amber’s best friend for five years and never realized this. Curtis has a baseball award ceremony in Madison, so D.J. drives him there. Instead of attending the ceremony, D.J. goes to get her haircut for football. When they get back from Madison, D.J.’s mom confronts her about playing football. D.J. didn’t want her family to find out, however, the coach told them. Her mom says as long as she wants to play and doesn’t feel as though she has to follow in her brother’s footsteps it is O.K. with her. D.J. attends the football try-outs. All of the players accept her. Brian finds out that she is playing on his school’s rival’s team and is very upset. He can’t believe that he trained with his enemy the whole summer. D.J. makes the team! Red Bend (D.J.’s town) is playing Hawley (Brian’s town) in a pre-season game. Bill, D.J.’s brother, who they haven’t talked to in half a year shows up at the game. Red Bend wins. In the end, all of the conflict settles. Amber finds a new special someone at work. Brian forgives D.J. for playing football. Her brothers forgive her father over a fight they had. And, most importantly, D.J. gets to play football!
2. I am shocked, but I really enjoyed this book. At first, I just grabbed it from the library to have as an I.R. book thinking I would soon abandon it. Murdock is very good at making the book relate to the reader and make it seem very realistic. I really enjoyed how it made you feel like you were thinking for D.J. through all of the tough situations. Also, Murdock is very skilled at developing her characters into unique individuals that add the icing to the cake!
3. One of the main themes that Dairy Queen has is hard work pays off. D.J. trained the whole summer with Brian in order to play on the football team. She understood that as being a girl, they would critique her skills very hard. Also, she works very hard on the farm. I believe that due to the fact that she has to complete so many chores on the farm that her parents were O.K. with her playing football, something she is passionate about.
4. My favorite character is Amber, D.J.’s best friend. I feel bad that she has feelings for other women and hasn’t been able to ever express her feelings. At home, all she has is her father who rarely pays attention to her. I feel that she is a very strong character individually and could potentially have her own novel.
5. My least favorite character is Curtis, D.J.’s younger brother. It annoys me how he rarely communicates with anyone. The only way I would learn any information about him was through the narration of D.J. I feel as though everyone that is given the ability should communicate with others. I find it is difficult of coexist without communications.
6. This novel ended COMPLETELY different then I thought. I never would have guessed that she would play football. There were many twists and turns that I did not anticipate. I had predicted they would lose the farm because of all the problems they were having but the story did not go in that direction. It made the story more interesting not being so predictable!

1. Zoey Redbird is a vampyre fledging who was marked 1 month ago, the school she goes to is a vampyre fininishing school called The House of Night. She is a very special fledging. She has a mark that is expanded and completely filled in she also has special powers. Any fledging can have 1 power that they call an affinaty at The House of Night, only a few fledgngs get an affinity. She has five affinaties, her affinates are the five elements; water, fire, earth, air, and spirit. What is happening now in my book is that it is parents visiting day at the house of night. Zoeys horrible mother and Leader of the people of faith (a group completely against vampyres because they are different and worship a different god. Vampyres worship the Godess of night, Nyx) step-father (she calls him the step-loser) come to visit with her wonderful caring grandma. As soon as her father enters The House of night he reaks havoc. He comes and meets The Vampyre High Priestness of the school, Neferet. He start barading her about their religion and race. She tells him to leave and never come back or he can stay and keep his thought to himself. When he chooses to leave Zoey hopes her mother will stay. Instead she says to Zoey what have you've gotten yourself into and follows the step-loser out the door. Her grandma comforts her but has to leave because they are driving her home. Zoey also meets her lovely roomate, Stevie Rae's mom. Stevie Rae's mom is so nice to zoey and because she knows about how her mother and step-father are to her she tells Zoey that she is apart of their family to and that she is her daughter too.
2.I like my book so far because it is very entertaining and dramatic. I love all of Zoeys friends they make the book even better. Her best friend and roomate is Stevie Rae is and okie cow girl from Olkahoma. She has short blonde curley hair and has pale skin. The twins are not actually twins. Shaunee is a cafe latte-colored Jamaican American from Conneticut with a firery personality. Erin is blonde-hair, blue-eyed, white girl from Oklahoma. Their personalities are completely the same and they finish each others sentences all the time. Damien is a white darked hair gay boy from oklahoma. He is super smart! And finally Erik Night. Erik is Zoeys popular, good looking, boy friend. He is an amazing actor and a very nice guy. Zoey and her friends make the story more entertaining and thats why I like the series so much.
3. The theme in this part of the book is to be careful who you trust and that people dont always apear as they seam.
4. I have two favorite characters, Stevie Rae and Zoey. I like Stevie Rae because she is so nice and caring. I like her accent and the way she talks. I also love who she watches out for all her friends and keeps the group together. I like Zoey because she aventurist and special. I like that she cares about her friends so much. I also like all the aventures she starts. I also like that she has 5 affinities and has the only mark that is colored in and expanded.
5. My least favorite charector is Nefferet the High Priestness and Zoeys mentor. She is evil and has turned her back from Nyx. I hate how Zoey can't trust her anymore and how Zoey has to hide thing from her.
6. I am rereading the series but my predictions before I read the book were that her and Aphrodite (the mean girl) are going to become friends. And that Eric is not going to survive the change.

1.Right now Alicia is discovering the truth about i, she's shocked but happy, also she and Nina are very happy because the twins got exactly what should have been coming their way for a long time.
2. I'm sort of happy with the book but in a way I wished it ended a little differently, I also think the book ended too fast. The ending wasn't really finished to me when the book ended.
3. since the book is over there are many themes bieng looked at, but the biggest one to me is pretty much what comes around goes around- meaning ex: the twins were really mean to Alicia and Nina so, eventually something happens to them to sort of get back at the twins for being mean.
4. My favorite character is now Nina. She's probably my favorite because she thinks of really good pranks to do on Alicia. Also I think it is really funny how she is so good at stealing that she can walk by someone and somehow have completly emptied their pockets.
5. My least favorite characters are again the twins, because they take advantage of Alicia and are plain mean to Nina. I don't understand why Alicia let the twins walk all over her for so long though. Also the twins didn't even attempt to help Alicia and Nina when they got into major trouble- how mean.
6. Well since I finished this book I am going to make a prediction of what will happen in my next book called: Double identity. I think it will be about a girl who has an identical sister somewhere that she never knew about- I think the story will be about her finding her sibling and maybe she will meet them at the end.

1. Right now in Ender's Game Ender was recently put on the dragon army. Then Graff the leader of the base station Ender is at made him the commander of the Dragon Army. This is a tough spot to be in because all the kids in his army are younger than him and he is only 9 and a half. This means that they are hard to train and are going to not be good in battles. Graff has also forbidden Ender to make any trades to make his army better. There is one kid in Ender;s army that is very self centered and wants to be a toon leader. He is very skilled but Ender is singling him out all the time and he realizes thats what Graff did to Ender.
2. I'm really enjoying this book im interested to keep reading because in the book people talk about how Graff is evil. I want to see if Ender will end up in a legitamate battle or if he will just be in a war with Graff so i am interested to see that. Also im having fun reading this book because its not every day that you see a 9 year old leading an army so I think that is funny.
3. Another theme I have been noticing in the book is trust. At the beginning of the book I think Ender was only slightly suspicious of Graff. Now Ender knows what is happening and he wants to take Graff down, he trusted him and now he is realizing how badly he got tricked into this. Also some of the people in Enders army don't 100% trust him because he is 9 and a half, I don't know if I would trust him either.
4. Right now my favorite character is still Ender because he really thinks about everything. When he was singling the good kid out a lot he stopped and thought about how Graff did the same thing to Ender and he wasnt sorry about it and Ender wants to say sorry to the kid almost and he wants to become friends with him.
5. My least favorite character has to be Graff right now because just like Ender i am realizing how evil he really is. He is nasty and really it is bad how much he has treated Ender so poorly. Graff makes me feel bad for Ender all the time because of how isolated he is and how much Graff takes everything he gains away from him.
6. I honestly can't tell what will happen next but i think that maybe just maybe Ender will get promoted to some higher rank in the system and he might devise a plan that would take Graff down.

1. Right now Santiago and his sister just made it to the United States with no food or water left, and after getting washed ashore by a Tropical Storm. They were put in a hospital and they are famous for their incredible journey. They are very sick and hurt but with some rest they will be able to recover.
2. I really like the book, and I love the way the author describes the hardships the characters have to go through. I like how you never no what is going to happen, because before they got to the US they were always in danger. now that I am at the end of the book I think I am going to read more books by Ben Mikealsen.
3. The theme that is most present at this time is danger in unexpected places, because even though they made it to the US all of the attention is alerting the government to there whereabouts so now they have to make sure that the government doesn't send them back to Guatemala.
4. My favorite character is still Santiago because he is very brave and goes through the whole publicity thing very well. And the whole entire journey no matter how annoying his sister is he sticks by her.
5. My least favorite character is Santiago's sister because in the hospital she gets what ever she wants and she is a brat towards Santiago. But she is getting better and since the trip she has been very thankful toward Santiago even though she is very discreet in showing it.
6. I think that they will be able to stay in Florida, but I think that they will have a very rough time living on their own.

1. Right now in my book the authors are about to debate What Are the Most Over Priced seats in baseball. But in the last chapter they debated if the Red Sox left fielder is a position dynasty?I agreed with them completely when they said that the position is a dynasty with players like Manny Ramirez and Ted Williams.
2. I have really have enjoyed this book, I love sports and I love knowledge so I guess this combines these two things which is why I have really enjoyed.
3. A theme in my book has been betrayal. They have talked about how people have betrayed them (like Roger Clemens and Johny Damon),they seem very bitter about, they have critcized Roger Clemens skill. I just think Boston is especially sensitive to betrayal compared to say Texas.
4.So far Roger Clemens is my least favorite character,he betrayed the Red Sox by going to the yankees. While he didn't go directly to the yankees like Johny Damon, but it was felt more but he is such a big contributor to whatever team he is playing for.
5. They talked about who is the best overall player to play for Boston, there were a couple named mentioned but my favorite was Carl Yaztremski. He was the most dominant and most loyal player to Boston. He played his whole career for the red sox and he never won a world series he stilled loved the city. As far as dominant atheltes there are many so it's his loyalty that puts him above the rest.

1. Right now Alex is getting ready to infiltrate an oil rig with a special operations team where they will try to stop the villain Major Yu from blowing up the stolen british bomb called Royal Blue which will cause a tsunami to devastate the coastal area of indonesia and submerge the entire west coast of australia under water.
2. I really like the book. I love action and adventure in stories so this is perfect. It is easy to read so I can follow the story easy and I can paint a better picture in my head. The suspense in this book is always keeping me reading on the edge of my seat.
3. The theme here is excitement and action. You know there will be action and it just gets exciting waiting because right now a team of special agents is going to attack the enemy and try to catch him. Which from both movies and books is always thrilling.
4.My favorite character is Alex because he's the main character and the action is always with him. The action is also one of the reasons why I like this book.
5. My least favorite character is Major Yu because he is the villain and is really crazy. I know all villains are crazy but the way the author makes Major Yu seem makes him seem really evil. The amount of his evilness just makes me hate him.
I predict that Major Yu will probably die and Alex will be victorious again and be sent home to go back to a regular life.

1. In my book right now, Max is getting tutored by Nerdstrom a big nerd. Max doesn't want anyone to know about this, so he tells Nerdstrom to keep it a secret, and it is going out pretty well so far except for a couple parts. Max has been hanging out with Nerdstom for the past couple weekends, and he hasn't been telling anyone in school about this, because he doesn't want them to find out that he is spending time with a loser. One day, a popular kid named Jared is putting his backpack away at his cubby with Max and Nerstrom, and Max and Nerdstrom were talking about his past weekends and how Nerdstrom has been tutoring Max, and Jared overheard them, and now Jared is thinking that Max is really good friends with Nerdstrom, and Max is trying to stop that.
2.So far in my book, I am feeling a little bit shocked, because Max used to be a big bully, and he used to boss everyone around, but ever since Nerdstrom has been tutoring Max math, Max has been spending alot of time with Nerstrom and going to his house alot. I usually didn't think that Nerstrom was ever going to do that.
3.The theme i have noticed in my book is alot of friendship between Max and Nerdstrom. Max is getting tutored by Nerstrom, so they are spending alot of time together. Max has changed alot from a bully to a normal person. Max always goes to Nerstrom's house to learn, and he tries to hide that, because he doesn't want anyone to notice him being with Nerstrom.
4.My favorite character is Nerdstrom. Nerdstrom is my favorite character, because he is being kind to Max even though he knows that Max doesn't like him. Max is saying alot of bad things about him behind his back, and he knows about it, but he isn't caring much, and he is living his life as he would regularly.
5.My least favorite character is Jared. Jared is my least favorite character, because he is making a big deal about finding out that Max is spending time with Nerdstrom. I think that it doesn't matter who Max spends time with, even if he is a nerd. Jared shouldn't care who Max is spending time with.
6.In my book, I think that Jared is going to find out about Max and Nerdstrom, and the big deal is going to get overwith. Max and Nerdstrom, are going to be really good friends.

1. Right now in the book, Michael finds out that Ellie is the daughter of the Yankees best player. Since he is also from cuba, he can get some friends back home to get Michael his birth certificate. Also, Carlos got in a lot of trouble for scalping tickets outside of the stadium.
2. I really love the book. It is one of the best i have ever read for many reasons. It has so many twists that when they come around you think to yourself that you would never have thought of that in a million years. It also doesn't come out and tell you things, you really have to keep reading to find out what you want to kniow. Lastly, Michael getting his passport so he can play his next game is very well thought up.
3. A theme i have noticed in the book is keeping your family close. Even though Carlos has got in trouble and has lost his job at the diner, they are still managing to get by. Also, Before Michael gets his passport he can't play in the baseball games. He really has noone to turn to for help except his brother and his best friend Manny. Lastly, Michael and Carlos staying together is the only way they can stay together and not be seperated. This helps both of them have more coinfidence in the other.
4. My favorite character right now is Ellie. Even though she was scared of the boys in the begginning, she has good reasoning, you can't trust every guy in New York City. But, once she got to know him she was one more person in Michael's life that he can count on. Also, when he figures out that she is the daughter of an amazing yankee player form Cuba, she gets her dad to help Michael get his passport. If this works, she will be the reason Michael gets to play in the playoffs. This would mean the world to him and he would thank Ellie so much.
5. My least favorite character right now is Carlos, Michael really needs him now but he quits his job at the diner. Then gets caught by the police scalping tickets at Fenway. I can understand that he needed the money, but to get caught in Michael's time of need. I think he should have found another way to find money that would not get Michael so worried about his brother when he should be focusing on baseball.
6. I predict next that he will get his passport and be able to play in the playoffs. He will pitch at yankee stadium. 80 mph has never been hit in a little league playoff game and i think Michael will beat the record and either win the game, or the book will end right there while he is on the pitchers mound. While up there he will be having a great time, maybe the best time of his life and the best he will ever have for the rest of his life.

2. The reason why i think it leaves you wanting to read more is because their alot of times you cant realy predict what a character will do to another character and when it will happen and i am not a big book reader but this i have troble putting down.

The theme i notice mostly in the book right now is trust, beacuse one example is when Lupin trusted McKinley and Aspen that their were no humans in the house and she would be safe to stay their alone for a while. Another reason is when McKinley trusted Aspen to meet him with Lupin to help her go back to the wilderness ever through their was a possibiltly of them getting killed.
4. Right now my favorite character is McKinley, because the author has just showed how he is such a good friend and dog. Like how he is helping Lupin fight for her life even though she calls him a human slave and an ambaresment to wolves.
5. I still have Reburn as my least favorite charater because he is helping the bad humans go on another search to find Lupin again and he even knows if they find Lupin for sure they will kill her.
6. The predition i have for next time is that Lupin will escape Duchess will go with her and McKinly will get punished for helping them if Mr. Pycraft gets a hold of him.

1.
In my book right now they are in a flash back when Kate in on the line of death. I don’t know if she is going to live to the next transfusion or not. All of the character are saying goodbye to Kate and it is very sad.
2.
The detail in the book so far is pretty good. In some of the parts it could be clearer. Some of the parts when they are talking about the metical part to the book are very descriptive. But overall the book is pretty detailed.
3.
The dominate theme in the book is sadness. The book is generally sad, but in this part you don’t know if you are going to lose a main character or not. Also when they talk about Kate having cancer it makes the book sad. So the dominate theme in the book so far is sadness.
4.
My favorite character is Kate. She is my favorite character because she is sweet and does not deserve to die at this early age. Also I think that Anna is being very mean to Kate because she can’t go hockey camp, and Kate is just ignoring it and not fighting back.
5.
My Least favorite character is Anna. She is my least favorite character right now because she did not want to say goodbye to Kate incase she did not survive. Also she is complaining a lot about not going to hockey camp.
6.
I think that Kate will survive through the next couple day and then make a full recovery. I think this because there is about 100 pages left and if she dies than the book will have no real purpose without the main character.

1. Right now, Sam Gribley, a boy who ran from home, has met a reporter named Matt. matt asks Sam how to get to Delhi from the Catskill Mountains, (Where Sam lives). The reporter also asks Sam about the "Wildboy," who is actually Sam. Somehow, the newspaper found out about Sam, and now write an entire column on him. Sam gives him false informationon himself.
2. Right now, I like the book very much. I like how it is half story, and half survival guide, like on page: 65, they tell you how to make a wood grill.
3. I think the current theme is survival and friendship. Survival because he is in the catskill wilderness living in a 6 foot wide tree throughout the entire year. I think friendship is another because he is besstfriends with his pet Peregrine Falcon which he captured from a nest. He relies on the falcon, and the falcon relies on him. He also meeets many people such as Matt and a college english teacher he calls "Bando."
4. My favorite character is probobly Bando because he likes some things that I like to such as music and being outdoors.
5. My least favorite character is Sam's dad because when Sam told him he was going to run away, Sam's dad just laughed at him and started to make fun of him.
6. I think that Sam will just keep living in the mountains because I don't think he wants to go home.

1. Right now, Alex has switched back to MI6 and has just taken down the hot air balloon filled with satellite dishes that will initiate the killing of innocent children in London. He went into MI6 Headquarters and was told that his father hadn't actually died during the exchange of people on Albert Bridge, and that he had died during his trip to the south of France.
2. I really enjoy this book so far. I've read other books similar to it, but nothing with as many twists in the plot or even close to as much action. One part I don't like is how generic the characters in MI6 department are, it doesn't go into enough detail about their backgrounds.
3. A theme in this book is to know who your friends are. Alex was manipulated into believing that Mrs. Rothman was his friend, but as soon as she knew he had failed his 1st mission to kill someone in cold blood, she planned to kill him.
4. Alex Rider is my favorite character because he always seems to push his luck and to see how far he can get. He's also inventive and is able to think up things on the spot.
5. My least favorite character has become Julia Rothman. She's too pretentious and too cruel to be successful in her business because no one remains faithful to her forever.
6. I predict that now that the conflict is over, Alex will return to a semi normal lifestyle in London. Although this will only be in place for a while, and there will be a new problem to tackle.

1. In my book right now, Luke Harding, a Forensic Investigator is interrogating Rick Glenfield. Rick is one of the prime suspects for Luke's first case, a series of three murders. The first murder was of a boy, Crispin Addley, who was shot expertly from a distance, in the chest. The second murder victim was a much hated teacher, Mrs. Kee. She was "accidentally" stabbed with a syringe full of snake venom. The last murder victim was also a student, Vince Wainwright who was stabbed in his apartment. There are many suspects, but Luke himself is second in line because of evidence and possible motives for wanting to be rid of all three victims. Rick is caught off guard by Luke and his robotic sidekick, Malc, (A mobile Aid to Law and Crime), on his way back from the gym. But why go to a gym when you have access to more than enough sporting equipment on campus? Rick also has traces of the materials on his clothing that were found at two of the three crime scenes, along with a guessed motive.
2. I have allready read the two other books in the Traces series and I enjoyed both of them. Framed actually comes before the two I've read, but I like it a lot. I think mystery books are fun to read and these in particular a really catchy.
3. I think the theme in this book is distrust. Luke has learned through his many years of training to be an FI, that you can't trust anyone. When interrogating suspects, he always keeps in the back of his mind, and is constantly reminded by Malc, that they are probably lying. Or at least not telling the full truth. At one point in the story so far, Luke had to ask his girlfriend Jade some questions, because she too is a possible suspect.
4. My favorite character is Luke Harding. I admire how smart he is and how well he solves crimes. It is amazing what he can come up with by uncovering a tiny clue. Microscopic in some cases. He also seems very down to earth, and trustworthy to solve a murder mystery.
5. My least favorite character is Rick because thee is always something creepy about him. Not only is he a prime suspect, but he also seems to be too commonly in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe a little too ironic.
6. I think that the ending of this book is going to be very surprising. It seems like there is too much evidence against Rick to have it just end how you'd expect. I think Ella Fitch, a woman who does a lot with the school's technology is a little too eager to help Luke, and a little too quirky yo be innocent.

1. Right now in the book Stanley was digging his hole and it was almost the end of the day. He found a gold tube in the ground. Earlier in the book Stanley said he would give anything he found in the dirt to X-Ray. He gave it to X-Ray and decided to use it the next day because it was almost the end of the day and he could get the whole day off the next time.
2. I like the book because every character in the book plays a big role. And I also like that the author included parts when there are things going on in the camp so it's more realistic, instead of having a perfect juvenile camp.
3. The theme for the chapters that I read was trust. When Stanley found the gold tube he kept his word and gave it to him like he said her would. Stanley and everyone else at camp needs to trust each other and nobody really trusts Mr. Sir.
4. My favorite character is Mr. Sir because he is a funny character. He is also my favorite character because when he does something right he gets in trouble with the warden. Or When the boys took the seeds from him and he was yelling.
5. My least favorite character is the warden because she is always in a serious mood and never has a smile on her face. She is also harsh to the people that work at the camp but she isn't very mean to the boys.
6. I predict that the gold tube will be very valuable and X-Ray would get credit for something he didn't do.

1: Right now in the book, Ella, a girl who was put under a fairy's enchantment as a baby, is trying to free herself from the spell. The spell was cast by the rash fairy Lucinda, and causes Ella to have to obey every order given to her. If she does not, she will become dizzy and nauseous, and be in pain. She has spent all of her life being pushed around by people, but still fights back using every loophole possible. Her cook and fairy godmother Mandy helps her through it when her mother dies of an illness. When sent off to finishing school, she is so frustrated by her tormentor and stepsister Hattie, she runs off. She seeks Lucinda in order to free herself from the curse. Lucinda is heading to a giant's wedding. On her way there she runs into ogres, and is saved by Prince Char, who she falls in love with. She has just arrived at the wedding, and has managed to find Lucinda. She is trying to get Lucinda to remove the spell, and is attempting to make her understand how terrible the spell is.
2: I am enjoying this book very much. It is a very easy read, and sometimes those are fun to read. I like the element of magic, yet the way that the characters are still relatable. Ella can be angry, she can laugh, and she has many faults. This makes her easy to connect with. All in all, this is a fantastic book.
3: One of the many themes in this book is determination. This is shown as a theme from the very beginning. Determination is shown when Ella resists every command, even though it causes her discomfort. She does this again and again, hoping it will break the curse. She also shows determination when she keeps on her journey even after she runs into ogres. This is an act of pure determination. These are some of the ways in which she shows determination as a theme.
4: my favorite character is Ella, for many reasons. She is determined, and persistent. She is relatable, and has many faults. She is kind, especially to Areida, a girl who she befriends even though no others like her. She is also funny, and she makes Char laugh often. Even though the odds are against her, she always pulls through.
5: My least favorite character is Hattie, as she is always using Ella's curse to boss her around. She forced Ella to give her the necklace that her recently departed mother gave to her. She also made Ella take care of her, and kept her from eating on the long journey to finishing school. She is continuously malicious, and infuriating. She will stop at nothing to torment Ella.
6: I predict that Lucinda will refuse to lift the spell, and will replace it with a worse one when asked to remove the old one.

1) Right now in my book the main character Jack is explaining how him and his family moved from place to place and is explaining how his dad always knew criminals and would always point them out, but Jack never thought he would be one. He was imprisoned for a year and is still explaining his story in prison. He is 21 and the prison is in Kentucky he was 120 pounds and told us about the diets the greasiest chicken and how all the people in prison looked big and tough. This story was telling his life, it started off at when he was 19 and in high school but didn’t live at home. He went to live with family friends, the Bacon’s, who got so sick of him drinking and getting wasted.
2) This book is becoming one of my favorite books because I really like how this guy can pull so much detail in to when he was at prison and his life, because I would like to know more about what happens to the people in prison. I know the plot of this book and as I'm continuing to read it I am really enjoying it.
3) The theme in this book is regret meaning that he said that being in jail was the bleakest year of his life, and when he is telling this story his emotions show a ton of regret and mistakes he made is re telling the story of this book to make people realize sometimes you cant undo what you already did, I am learning about consequences from this book by just thinking about how he told the story from prison and how disgusting it was to even think about being in jail.
4) My favorite character is Jack because he is continuing to be strong through out the book and is not letting being in prison make him a worse person than he really is
5) My least favorite character is also Jack just because he is continuing to get himself in trouble even though he already got in jail and is not thinking clearly because he is still drinking and is not thinking about his consequences.
6) I predict that Jack will go live with someone else and is going to get in trouble with them and go back to jail and tell his story from the jail cell.

1. Right now, in my book is about how this girl named Jenna, goes on vacation, away from her best friend Anna. They were supposed to have the perfect summer, and her mom ruined it by making her go to the Cape; across the country, to visit her mother's college friend; Tina. Tina's daughter: Sarah, and Jenna used to be best freinds, they would be inseperable. So Jenna was really excited because they would be best friends again after 10 years of being away from eachother. When they got to the Cape, Sarah ignored Jenna, and acted like she hates her. So Jenna doesn't want to be there anymore. She is having an aweful time.
2. So far in the book, it's kind of confusing. Because you dont know why Sarah is acting the way she is acting. All in all, it is pretty good.
3. The theme in the book is finding friendship, because being away from Anna, she changed, and Sarah doesnt talk to her. So Jenna has to find out who her real friends are.
4. My favorite character in the book is Jenna because she doesnt care what people think of her and she just likes being herself. She likes having friends and doesnt care what boys think of her.
5. My least favorite character is Sarah because she doesnt have a good personality. She is really mean and selfish.
6. I predict that Jenna will eventually find a friend to hang out with, and she will have a good time in the Cape for the rest of the summer.

1. At this moment, Eragon and his brother Roran are camping at the edge of Helgrind, a mountain foretress, preparing to rescue Katriana, who is held inside. They are finishing last minute preparations and talking.
2. I have read this book before, but I haven't in a while. I find it really enjoyable plot-wise, but the flow of the words definetely could be better. It's a fast moving book with quite a bit of fantasy, but I still like it.
3. The theme that I have noticed the most in this book is heroism. The main character, Eragon, feels that as a Rider, he must protect and help everyone. He tries his best, but he can't be everywhere at once.
4. My favorite character is Saphira, Eragon's dragon. She looks out for his safety, and is always willing to help out. Being forty feet tall, she can help a lot with almost anything. She is deeply protective of Eragon.
5.My least favorite character is Roran, because he is far too impulsive, which leads him to sometimes make the wronf decisions. Plus he shows up too much for my taste.

Then there is Tom's friend Jeff who hates Jessica and wrangles with him over Courny. But know that Jessica moves will Tom be able to move on from what he later discovers to be his soul mate.
2. This book is a bit sad but I really like the plot. I like it because he has a desicion to make and he has to discover what he really wants. He has to ask him self is Jeff's lying that bad. THe only bad thing I'd have to say about it is that it is quite short I think I would have liked it better if it was longer.
3. The theme I saw most was Don't Judge people because as soon as every one sees Jessica they are afraid of her and don't want to talk to her. But by the end Tom is friends with her and she is kind and needs someone to talk to. She also teaches Tom alot about appriciating the life you have.
4.Jessica is probably my favorite character because she is really nice and she knows a lot. Also I feel really bad for her due to her really bad burns and the awquardness of her family.
5. I would have to say that my least favorite character is Jeff because he is mean to Jessica just because of her burns and I think he has a real bad attitude toward everyone. Also he kees lying to Tom about practicaly everything.

1. Before i finished the book the author was talking about World Series dynasties among them were the Redsox from 1915 to 1918 And the Yankees from 1996 to 2000
2.Overall this was a great book. It talks about a lot of baseball historical moments series teams and players. I recommend it to anyone who likes baseball.
3. The dominant theme in the book was great upsets. This was my favorite part of the book because I love whent eh team everybody thinks will lose ends up pulling through to win in the end.
4. My favorite charecter in the book was Roberto Clemente. He is my favorite charecter because i think he one of the greatest all around players of baseball that ever lived.
5. My least favorite charecter is Barry Bonds. He is my least favorite because he used steroids and by doing that he know hold the record for the most homeruns ever hit by a single player in his career.

Body:
1 Right now, Hillary Jordan has been writing about the past. About how Laura, Henry, and Jamie all met together and what their connection is to the beginning of the book. Laura was thirty-one when she met Henry McAllen in the spring of 1939. They slowly got to know each other as friends, until Henry told Laura he had a crush on her. At that point Laura thought they were just friends but didn't say anything. Later on, Laura met Henry's brother Jamie, whom she liked for only a day. Sooner or later, Laura started to like Henry also and thought he would purpose to her. Instead, he told Laura he was leaving for a couple months for business. She was sad she didn't get the purposal. 2 Months later Henry purposed and Laura was happy to say yes.
2. I think this has been my favorite part of the book so far. Especially the part when Laura meets Henry's brother Jamie. Hes spunky and is full of energy. They walked around town and went to a ball where Jamie danced with Laura. After they danced Laura could see the jealousy on Henry's face who just sat on a bench and watched them dance. But Jamie made sure to tell Henry he wasn't interested in Laura as he started dancing with a random girl at the ball immediately.
3. So far in my book, it seems the theme in my book has been happiness. Everything that has happened so far since the last time I blogged last Thursday has been joyful. From Henry purposing to Jamie and Laura dancing at the ball. The only semi-sad part (which was only about 1 page) was when Laura was concerned that Henry might not purpose to her because she said she was ready to make a commitment with him. But so far. everything else has been joyful.
4. So far in this book since the last time I blogged, Jamie has been my favorite character. I like him because I can relate to him. He likes to have fun and he is full of energy, as I am. Also, I like him because he knows whats right for his brother. A couple times Henry listened to him because Jamie always had smart ideas for dealing with Henry's and Laura's relationship.
5.I think my least character so far in my book since the last time I blogged would be Laura's mom. Ever since Henry didn't purpose to her before he left for his business trip, Laura's mom has been being annoying and keeping on reminding Laura every day, and Laura already has enough to deal about herself. I also don't like Laura's mother because Laura's mother doesn't support her, and looks at the negative side in situations like these.
6. Because Hillary Jordan has been talking about the past the whole time and will soon return to writing about the future my prediction stays the same from last week. Nothing new in the present has happened so I still predict that someone important may end up dieing in the flood which keeps creeping up on their small town.

1) Right now in my book, the main character Sophie is beginning to find her self more. She is starting to get along with her mother more. After they got into a rather large argument, and began to ignore each other for several days. She wrote a not to her, and explained she was sorry. Since that passage they have been getting along just fine. From what i have noticed it looks like that has taken a hug amount of stress away from Sophie's life, and she can begin to focus on other things that make her happy.
2) I am still very fond of the book. I really like the way that the author expresses Sophie's feelings. It's almost as if your having a conversation with her, or reading her diary. Also the outline of the book, makes it almost easier to read in a way. I almost wish other books were written this way. The outline is in poem form, i also think when Sophie is describing her feelings, she is almost talking as if it is a poem.
3) I think tat the theme of What my Mother Doesn't Know is to not judge a book by its cover, and to go for what you believe. Sophie seems to find herself and learn from her mistakes especially with love. She starts to forget about what other people think, and just do what she feels makes her happy.
4) My favorite character is Sophie. I can relate to her in so many different ways. I think that helps a lot. I like that she has struggle in her life, but she is really good at putting that behind her. And even though sometimes she just "sweeps it under the rug" and just decides to deal with it later, i think thats what most people her age would do, so the author really gets Sophie to relate to young adult.
5) My least favorite character is Sophie's mother. I don't like how she can't ever admit that she is wrong. But i would love to keep reading and see if she ever learns too. I also don't like how she puts so much pressure on Sophie considering she's under a lot of pressure herself, and her mother never cares to ask how she is, etc.
6) My prediction is that Sophie will start to talk to her crush Murphy more, and they will begin to date. Her and her mother are getting along a lot more now, and i think that helps give her courage to do what makes her happy, and not judge a book by its cover.

1.Mrs. starch, the meanest, most feared biology teacher at Truman school, has mysteriously gone missing after a field trip to Black Vine Swamp. No one has seen her since, but she has written emails to the school staff saying that she will be on a temporary leave, due to a "family emergency". But Nick Waters and his friend Marta Gonzalez know better, they know that Mrs. Starch has no living family. They think the class delinquent Smoke has something to do with her disappearance. Meanwhile, a greedy oilman, Drake McBride, and his partner are planning to illegally drill for oil in a preserved section of the swamp.
2. I've read Carl Hiaasen's other books, Hoot and Flush, and they were great, but I am enjoying this book even more because there is a bit of mystery mixed into it, which makes Scat even more suspenseful and exciting. There was never a part in this book when I was bored or feeling like this is similar to other books that I've read; you're always wondering what is going to happen next, and there's always something thrilling and mysterious going on. There are sort of two stories going on at the same time, and at the end they will somehow connect. I like how Carl Hiaasen's books always focus on the environment and somebody who's messing with Mother nature, who at the end gets punished in a funny way.
3. A theme that I've seen is selfishness. Many people are doing things for the benefit of only themselves; they will hurt somebody or something just to get themselves what they want. Truman school's principle Dr. Dressler seems like a nice man because he is concerned about Mrs. Starch and her sudden disappearance. However, he really is only concerned about her because a teacher that went missing on a field trip would give the school a bad reputation. Also, Drake McBride is selfish because he only cares about making money for himself, even if what he's doing is illegal and damaging the environment.
4. My favorite character is currently Marta because she is always supportive to Nick and curious. Nick's father lost his good arm in Iraq, and when Nick was depressed after finding that out, Marta was sympathetic for him and comforted him. Also, she is curious to find out what really happened to Mrs. Starch and what Smoke has to do with her disappearance, unlike some other kids in her class who are just passive observers to the whole event.
5. My least favorite character is Drake McBride. He is lazy, selfish, a huge spender and money waster, and he never had to worry about his financial status. Every time he got into trouble his wealthy father would simply buy him a new company to mess with. Instead of getting a drilling permit to go drill oil somewhere legal, he decided it would be easier to illegaly find some oil in Section 22 of Black Vine Swamp, which is strictly protected, and have the Big cypress Preserve pay them millions NOT to drill it.
6. I think Nick and Marta will discover what Smoke has to do with Mrs. Starch's disappearance, and also find out what Drake McBride is up to and put an end to his plan. Maybe they will realize that Mrs. Starch really isn't a bad person, just different.

1. In Pendragon the "Convergance" has begun. On Second Earth, A man named Naymeer somehow managed to get Mark's Traveler ring and now knows about Halla, and is telling the public about Halla. He seems to be a cult keader that has risen to great power. Meanwhile on Ibara, Bobby found one of his old friends, Loque, who he had though died, was infact alive, but very sick. He made a bit of a recovery though. He also found out that his friend Telleo was in fact Nevva Winter. Even more bad news was that Saint Dane was able to escape from Veelox by digging for the flume, which he found.
2. Right now I think to book is really interesting. But I have many question, which is why it is so interesting. I am wondering what Saint Dane's plan for the rest of the teritories are and what is Ravinia, which is what Naymeer was talking about. I feel that it is very riviting, with many twists and turns that keep me interested.
3. A really big theme in this section of the book is friendship. When Bobby rescues Loque, he really helps Loque though the section. He spends every night outside Loque's ward to make sure he is alright. I think that it was Bobby that kept Loque alive. Bobby gave Loque a reason to live. Meanwhile, Courtney helped Mark get through all the changes on Second Earht, and helped keeping focusing correctly.
4. My favorite character is Loque. I like him because he was able to survive first shards of glass falling on him, then recovering from broken legs. He then made ajourney across the ocean in a skimmer. But he was not able to ride it all the way, so he collapsed from exhaustion, half way accross an drifted the rest of the way. It was completely amazing that he was able to make it that far, andthen to survive and start to get better, its astounding.
5. My least favorite character is Nevva Winter. She always seems to remove all hope and joy from the book. Whenever some hope emerges, Nevva has to spoil it by telling them something bad, or really pretending being somebody's friend (cough, Telleo, caugh). She seems to be even more cruel and mean than Saint Dane, at least he has a sense of humor.
6. I'm predicting that sinse Saint Dane escaped, Bobby will leave Veelox too. Mark, Courney and Patrick find out what Ravinia means. Eventually Bobby will catch wind of the "Convergance" on Second Earth and will go there to help. Courtney and Mark will prpbably get on Naymeer's bad side when they meet him.

1. I'm not very far into this book, but you'd be surprised how much has happened. The story revolves around a girl, named Liesel Meminger, living in Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 40s. She is not Jewish, she is Lutheran. At the very beginning of the novel, while on a train to go to their new foster parents' house, Liesel's brother, (unnamed in the novel) dies. While on their journey, they hold an impromptu funeral, including his mother, sister and two gravediggers. On her way back to the train, the gravedigger drops a book, and she picks it up. Her story continues when she reaches her foster parents' house and meets them.
2. The book is interesting, and I like it. Unlike most other books focused around the WWII time period, this is told from the perspective of a German who is Jewish, but Lutheran. It's very interesting to see what the other Germans thought of the war, Jews, and other races. For example, one of Liesel's new friends' father has voiced opinions about black people. One day, Rudy, Liesel's friend, went to the track to pretend to be like Jesse Owens, the great American track runner. He painted himself black with charcoal, and was scolded vigorously by his father when he found out. It shows other people's views on races and racism. Another interesting thing about this book is that it is told by Death. It's a very different concept, but if there was a person who took people's souls once they died, this person would be telling the story. He adds his own notes throughout the story that make for funny additions.
3. A theme that has been very prevalent so far is family, and those who don't have a very good one. Liesel does not have a true family, but she has two foster parents. Her parents have very different personalities; her foster father is very kind and nice to her, and the other, her foster mother, swears at her frequently because she isn't doing the work that she wants her to do. The death of her brother was hard for Liesel to deal with, and she's trying to cope with her new family without her real mother, who just left her with these new people. This book really stresses the value of a family and its importance in everyday life.
4. My favorite character is Liesel's foster father, Hans Hubermann. His personality is so like-able, and presents aspects that are easy to feel good about. He's one of the only people that's nice to Liesel, and in a few instances, offers to teach her how to read. The stark contrast between Hans and his wife is very apparent, as his wife calls him and Liesel dirty pigs if they don't do what she wants. For instance, one of their neighbors, who deeply despises them spits on their front door every time she walks by. If Liesel or her foster father don't clean it up, they get an earful from the mother. Rudy cannot provide very well for the family, but he does his best. Even though they live in a tiny house in a city in Germany, he plays his accordion for money in local bars. You can tell he tries to do the right thing, and accomplished this when he befriended Liesel.
5. My least favorite character is Liesel's foster mother, Rosa Hubermann. She is not amiable at all and treats her husband and foster child like dirt. She is very demanding and always needs what she wants, not what they want. She doesn't seem to care for Liesel at all in the tough situation she's in, so she's not doing her job very well. She does not have an occupation, and spends most of her time calling her family members "Saummensch, or Saukerl" which translate from German to "dirty pig". Her entire personality is almost cold and unfriendly, making her my least favorite character.
6. Since the name of the book is The Book Thief, I predict that Liesel will steal more books, which will tell the stories of her experiences and define this story. I think someone close to her will eventually die, and something about World War II will come to conflict with her story.

1. Right now in my book, Brom the storyteller has died and Eragon got captured in jail. After escaping he has to get as far away as possible because there are people chasing them, but without any time to rest, they are forced to cross a harsh desert where their chances of surviving are very slim. That's as far as I am.
2. Right now I'm really enjoying my book and it's hard for me to put down. There's always a new twist that's never expected, and your always on edge, theres never a time when nothing's happening.
3. The theme in my book right now is to keep moving on. Right now the main character is facing many problems, and he is having a hard time coping with his exhaustion, the constant running away, and that Brom just died, who is someone that he's come very close to, but he has to keep going in order to survive.
4.Right now my favorite character is Murtagh. He is like a copy of the main character, except that he doesn't have a dragon and is stealthier. One thing I really like is his mysteriousness. We still have no idea who he is or where he came from.
5. My least favorite character right now is the elf. She won't wake up so right now she's just being an anchor, and for some reason she's extremely important, but we have no idea why yet.
6. Next I think that they are going to cross the desert and the elf is going to wake up and help them in some way that means the difference between life or death.

1. Cole has been banished to a remote Alaskan island for nearly killing a 9th grader by severely beting him enough to leave him with brain damage. He was just attacked by the Spirit Bear and is left mortally wounded on this island. He is starting to become less violent and mutters the words "Are you okay". He's starting to care about others and ackowledge that he can't blame evrything on other people.
2. The book is very intense at times having scenes of seagulls eating his torn of flesh. I like it for the most part though. It really shows change in a boy growing with pain, anger, and lonelineess.
3. Survival is definetely the strongest theme in the book right now. Cole is stranded on this island and is fighting for survival.
4.Cole is my favorite character in the book right now. Even though he has been a very naughty boy and almost killed someone, you are still rooting for his survival in the wilderness.
5. My least favorite character in the book right now is Cole's dad. He goes out, gets drunk until he can't remember his own name and then beats Cole until is skin is raw and covered in welts.
6. I think Garvey or Edwin is going to come and check on Cole soon beceause they do periodically. Thery will then probably help him and see that he has changed a significant amount. But I also think he will still stay on that island for an entire year.

1. Right now in my book, Robert and Sophie are visiting Sir Leigh Teabing, a wealthy man who has devoted his entire life to the Holy Grail. Sophie's grandfather has left them a criptex: a hollow cylander with a secret message inside. They need to get a password which will align all the parts of the criptex correctly and open it. They have come to Teabing in order to get more information about the grail because Sophie doesn't know what it is. They need Meanwhile, the cops are still searching for them in order to arrest them for a falsely accused crime.
2. I am enjoying this book so far although there haven't been many exciting parts recently. They just figured out what the Holy Grail actually is but besides that, not much has happened.
The theme that I have noticed so far in this part of the book is the power of one. Robert, Sophie, and Teabing are working together to find out as much about the grail as possible and uncover the password that will open the criptex and reveal the secret message.
4.My favorite character right now is Sir Leigh Teabing. He is very interesting and like Robert, knows alot about history and the secrets it keeps. He seems to know everything there is to know about the Holy Grail.
5. My least favorite character is Lieutenant collet who is a member of the French police. He doesn't know Robert is innocent but is trying to arrest him. Robert and Sophie are on the run from the police and at the same time, trying to uncover arguably the biggest treasure in the history of mankind.
I think that the police will show up at Teabings mansion but once again, Robert and Sophie will narrowly escape with a fresh lead to there quest.

1. I just started this book, and right now three strange kids are breaking the main character, Jonah, out of his juenile detention center. So far in the book it has just described how much Jonah dislikes it there. The book hasn't told me what Jonah did to get put there yet. It did say he really likes computers. Jonah doesn't have alot of friends at the center. And you have no idea who these kids who are breaking him out are.
2. Right now i don't really like this book because i just started it and its been pretty boring. Just describing some kids terrible life in juvy. But the kids breaking him from his cell did surprise me and i tend to like books that have surprizes like that. The book is not bad but 40 pages in nothing very interesting has happened.
3. One of the themes in this book is independence. This is because Jonah is pretty much on his own (which is part of the point) in his little jail cell. He has to do everything on his own and once he stood up to the big "bully" of the detention center who is there for life.
4. My favorite character is Jonah. He is the only one I really know anything about. But he does seem O.K. even though he's a complete computer geek, He is one of those kids who knows everything about computers, and dreams of growing up and being a computer hacker.
5. My least favorite character is Wilson. I don't think his first name is Wilson but everyone calls him Wilson. He is a security guard for Jonah block of cells and he is really mean to everyone. I understand he is a security guard and evrything but he goes out of his way to be obnoxiouus.
6. I predict the kids will successfully spring Jonah from the juvenile jail. I think they will find some way to use Wilson and make him get them past the rest of security. Then I predict Jonah will help the rest of the kids steal stuff. That is why the book is titled Theives Like Us.

1. Right now, Bobby is learning his role as the savior of Denduron. He found out that he could send his memoirs of his adventures to his friend on Earth by speaking the location of the destination into a ring and then putting the papers into the portal that appears. I stopped just as he was caught by the bad guys.
2. I like how the story is developing and I feel as if I were in Bobby's shoes. D.J. MacHale writes this so I can see the sides of Bobby and his friends Mark and Courtney.
3. The theme I’ve noticed so far is uncertainty, which comes from the fact that Bobby is so new to the business of saving the world.
4. My favorite character is Bobby because he is smart, funny, kind, and athletic. He is not quite up to the part of being a savior yet, but that will come.
5. My least favorite character is Loor. She is too headstrong and always strikes first and asks questions later. She also dosn't have any faith in Bobby.
6. I think Bobby is going to try to rescue his uncle from the bad guys.

1. Right now in my book Gale one of the characters was whipped by the Peace Keepers (Police). So the main character Katniss and her family are trying to heal Gale
with herbal remedies.
2. I feel like the books pace is starting to kick up. I feel this way because with one of the main characters friends being whipped it shows that President Snow is finaly gonna go through with his threat.
3. I've noticed two themes in my book so far. The first one is rebellion. This is a dominant theme because it shows the main character fighting against the governmment. The book shows this in the way that there have been protests and fights against the Capitol through the 12 Districts.
4. My favorite character is Katniss. She is my faorite because she is finally starting to wake up and look at all the options. Like instead of defusing a rebellion she may wanna kick start it.
5. Effis Trinket is my least favorite. She is my least favorite because all she cares about is planning. Also because she never ever wants to do anything fun.
6. I believe Katniss will see that instead of stopping a rebellion she could help with it. She may also go on some secretmissions in the Capitol.

1. My book is really intense roght now. First one Edward Armstrong is missing! While he is missing they try to figure out how this dissapearence came to be. William and Philip get into a huge fight about William's revolver and Philip refuses to give it back. Everyone is now scared because Philip is armed. William has a hunch that Philip is the murderer until Vera says to stop arguing and to focus on trying to figure out the clue as you can call it. Vera thinks that Edward is trying to trick them and that he really isn't dead!
2. I really like this book so far. It was sort of slow in the beginning but as I stayed with it it picked up a bunch. This book is perfect for me because there is things happening every second which makes me want to keep reading. This book is very intense and I can't wait to finish!
3. The theme in this book I think is very tricky to find. I think I have found one little theme is this book though. I believe it is never trust anyone because you could be friends with them one minute and then the next they will be your worst enemy.
4.So far my favorite character is Vera. This is because she seem to have good ideas about breaking down the clues and is really into getting things resolved.
5.My least favorite character so far is Philip. He fell into this catagory just a little while ago because he is armed and he seems to not give up any evidence.
6. My prediction for what is going to happen next in the book is very vague. I;m saying this because you can never suspect anything. I believe that Edward will eventually turn up and pretend someone captured him but he really is playing this out and he is the murderer.

1. Right now un my book Codi went to Loyds family house for her Christmas vacation. It had just snowed and their drive to his house was very scenic and made Codi really appreciate the way Loyd grew up. Codi met Loyd's whole family and enjoyed the feeling on a big family.
2. I think that even though it wasn't ever really said Codi was somewhat depressed in the beginning. But after she started seeing Loyd she's gotten a lot happier and not as much of a lost person like she was before.
3. One theme at the moment is Finding yourself because Hallie sent Codi a letter that said she better get up and start living her life because thats the only way she'll find herself
4. My favorite character right now is Loyd because he is a smooth and calm kind of guy, and always acts like he's sure of himself. Also he is a really sweet guy at heart.
5. My least favoeite character is still Homer because he sometimes says he feels guilty about what he did but still sometimes says he did everything right which really bothers me.
6. I think Codi will end up living with Loyd somewhere between Grace and where he grew up and Hallie will keep going around South America solving crop problems.

Right now, an inside man just stole the smallpox from Bioaparat, a Russian lab. Though Dr. Smith and the Russian government have been trying to track them down, they always seem to just barely avoid them at every turn
So far, I think that this is a face-paced andventure novel that keeps you guessing, especially when it comes to who is on who's side. For example, Kirov's secretary and long trusted agent would have killed him if it weren't for Jon Smith's help. I would never have expected that she was a double agent.
So far, I think the theme of this book is acting quickly and strategy. First, there always seems to be a race against time to try and not let the culprit get away. Second, strategy helps them try to stay one step ahead of the enemy, which they are always trying to do.
My favorite character is Jon Smith. This is because he is always on top of things and figuring out what to do next. Also, he knows hot to react quickly in high-stress situations, like when he saved Kirov from the double-agent.
My least favorite character is Beria, because he is one of the main people trying to smuggle drugs into the U.S. and has a long history of killing anyone on his side who isn't totally necessary.
I think that next the orginization will suceed in smuggling the drug into the country and sell it to the company that is known for curing diseases, but actually creates them as well. They will then create the modified and even stronger version of smallpox that has been talked about and hold the world hostage.

1.) right now in the book annabel is trying to figure out if sophie is still mad at her. and it just confuses her and she tells you how sophie and her first met. but annabel also has to deal with family troubles besides her friends her mother goes in to a depression which was hard for the family to deal with along with her sisters eating disorder that causes her to be hopitalized and but into a facilty that whatches her. before all this troubole started annabels family all did modeling and annebel thought she would try out to her life has been so busy doing shoots or commercials and she isoltated her self from every one else. and when school starts she stuggles with "fitting in" and every isnt talking to her and this boy named ronnie who is a bully and every one doesnt talk.. is also in the same position that annabels is.
2.) i feel that this book is intresting and i dont want to put it down because the author wrote it in a way that she talk about one thing and the lead you on to another which is really intresting to me because then i need to read on to find out what happens. which i find fasinating about the book. i also feel that the book is written in more of a real life form that is possible to happen to any one.
3.) the dominating theme in the book so far would would be family because alot of stuff happens with her family. The books focuses on her sisters eating disorder or her career that her and her sisters share so it feel that in the book so far that family is a is the main theme for right now.
4.) i would have to say annable is my favortie peson because she seems so open to any one and is caring. because when sophie first moved annabel opened her self to her and offered to hang our and sophie rejected her and gave her additude and annabel still opened up to her which lead them to being friends. and she also seems the type that thats very loving and caring.
5.) sophie is my least favorite because i think that she is "fake" and made up. she also bossy torward her friend. because in the mall she told clarke to get make up and bossying her around and telling her what to do and clarke jus isnt that type that dress her self up.I also feel that she is to old for her self like she hangs out which older people and does bad thing like drink and doesnt follow the rules which i dont like about her.
6.) i think that later on in the book sophie will run back to annabel because some one wasnt being nice to sophie or somthing happend and annabel will stand her ground and just walk away from her

1. Right now in my book the main character Mia is still in the hospital as a "spirit" walking around looking at her family worry about her health. She has also just realized she is the only one left of her immediate family (mom, dad, and brother have all died).
2. I really like this book. I am really enjoying all the detail and the entire plot of the book. I think it's really interesting how the character is like a "ghost" watching her life. I also like how the author goes back and forth from what's happening now and what was going on in her life before.
3. One of the themes i've noticed in this book is Family. I noticed that a theme in this book is family by how the family of Mia is so greatly involved. Almost every flashback of her life includes her family even the aunts, uncles, grandparents of her life. I like this theme because it helps you get to know the character in a completely different perspective.
4. One of my favorite characters is Nurse Ramirez. I like her because she is so protective of Mia's body which is badly injured and in a very severely bad state. I really like how she stands up for Mia and she makes Mias friends and family happier. Another reason why i like her is because she spends the most time on Mia and not as much on the other patients I'm not sure why this is happening but it's one of the characteristics i like most about her.
5. My least favorite character in the book is the grumpy old nurse at the front desk. I don't like her because she is not doing anything to help Mia's loved ones. I also don't like her because she called security on Mia's boyfriend when he tried to go see her but luckily Nurse Ramirez came to the rescue!
6. I think that Mia's boyfriend will find away to touch her hand and be able to spend minutes with her and this will give her body the strength it needs to pull its self up again and hopefully wake up.

1. In my book right now Zoey and her friends are deciding what the new rules and regulations are going to be for the dark daughters and sons. They have come up with many great ideas. She tells Neferet all their ideas. Then she finds out that teenagers from her pass are being killed! And all evidence point to vampyres at the house of night. She’s having enough problems with having to run the dark daughters and sons, juggling her boyfriend, Eric, and her human ex-boyfriend and her becoming imprinted, not to mention her school work now she has to deal with this.
2. I like my book a lot. I find it kind of scary though. There are a few gruesome deaths and some blood sucking. But I like how she still has normal teenage problems.
3. The dominant theme in my book so far is trust.
4. I still have two favorite characters, Stevie Rae and Zoey. I like Stevie Rae because she is so nice and caring. I like her accent and the way she talks. I also love who she watches out for all her friends and keeps the group together. I like Zoey because she adventurist and special. I like that she cares about her friends so much. I also like all the adventures she starts. I also like that she has 5 affinities and has the only mark that is colored in and expanded.
5. My least favorite character is still Neferet the High Priestess and Zoey's mentor. She is evil and has turned her back from Nyx. I hate how Zoey can't trust her anymore and how Zoey has to hide thing from her.
6. I think the people killing the teenagers are the ghost things we don’t know what they are that she was seeing in the first book.

1. Right now in my book, Massie and Dylan are the only two girls in the NPC following their boyfast. Alicia is sneaking around with Josh and Claire i still trying to get Cam back and get Olivia way out of the game and Kristen is just unsure about everything. All Massie is interested in is getting boys out of OCD so they can be the alphas again. Massie is trying to figure out plans to get rid of the guys. They think that maybe having Dylan's mom raise money on the news for a new Briarwood would work out pretty well.
2. I'm still enjoying this book because it humors me, and it appeals to my likings. These girls have such attitudes it makes it so resistant. It's definitely kind of a book for girls because it's almost like a chick flick, but it's really fun to read.
3. The theme is riddance. The NPC wants boys out, that's all they care about. Massie wants everyone out of her way. The Briarwood boys, the LBRs, and everyone who thinks they can be better than her. Claire wants Olivia out, Alicia wants the boyfast out, everyone's worried.
4. My favorite character is now Alicia because she needs so much attention but she needs to seek it on her own because Massie always just has to steal the show. Alicia knows how to stick up for herself, but there's really no one that doesn't fear Massie. I also like her because she's smart. She's not doing anything to give away the fact that she's sneaking around with Josh and that she isn't really into the NPC.
5. My least favorite character is Derrington because he is so confusing and annoys me. He used to always wear shorts but now he wears jeans and he flirts with absolutely everyone when clearly he likes Massie. He's not helping himself and he's a jerk in this book.
6. I predict that they'll all change their mind and find out that Massie's been sneaking around too and then their little NPC is going to be torn apart.

1.In my book Alex Rider the main character is trying to get in touch with Marc Antonio in France with Jack his nanny/ person that looks after him because his uncle died. Alex meets a wierd guy, that that picked up the phone at Marc Antonios house, at a little cafe, and Alex convinces the guy to let Alex see Marc Antonio. So on the back of this guys little scooter Alex races through the streets leaving Jack behind to go to a museum, trying to make sure no one follows them. When Alex meets Marc Antonio he tells him the story of the bomb blowing up and why Damian Cray did that. Then, all of the sudden gunfire breaks out and the scooter guy gets immediatly shot but, Alex and Marc try to get away by running up the roof stairs. Marc gets shot on the way up the stairs but Alex gets to the roof and escapes down a slide.
2. I think the book is really good because of its vivid action seens like bombs blowing up and the one I just described about people running up stairs while getting shot at. I also love how Alex is always in the center of the action.
3. Alex being anxious to find out why his girlfriends parents tried to be killed usaully he does not want to get into things like trying to be killed and just be a normal kid however, this time it hit close to home so he takes more interest in it.
4. My favorite character in the book is Jack because she is trying to always keep Alex out of trouble and, she is also really his only family.
5.My least favorite character right now is Alex who didn't save Marc Antonio now probably could not have saved Marc. But he just gave Alex a lot of important information and could have been useful and given him more information.
6. My prediction is Alex is going to track down Damian Cray and kill him by the end of the book.
